mystery box. In the box,
there are 2 sets of cards;
one set of number on
blue cards (no. 1-13) and
a set of number on yellow
cards ( no. 1-13). Every
two pupils will get the
same number but different

pupils as the teacher flips

that they will be playing a
game of "Run and Write!".

to pair up (blue & yellow).
3. After all the pupils find
their partners, the teacher
explains the roles of blue
and yellow. Blue will be
the 'runner', whereas
yellow will be the 'writer'.

how the game is played.
a)The writer will get their
pencil, eraser and paper.
b)The runner will stand
next to the writer.
c) The teacher explains
there are 13 words that
are pasted on the
classroom wall.
d) The runner will run to a
word, take a look at it,
memorize it then runs
back to their partner who
is the writer.
e) The writer will ask
"What is the word?" and
the runner will tell the
word he/she saw
f) The writer will write
down the word and the
runner will proceed to run
at the next word.
5. This repeats and
continues until all pairs
have gotten all the 13
words on the wall.
