Rock & Brews is an energized dining and entertainment concept offering affordable, quality American
comfort food and a broad selection of craft beer, while
immersing guests in a family-friendly rock & roll experience like none other. Where the unifying force of rock
& roll meets the burgeoning craft beer culture, Rock &
Brews is born.
Founders, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Michael Zislis and Dave & Dell Furano are all bound by their love
of rock & roll. Armed with an abundance of branding
expertise, ambition and rock fervor, they inspired Rock
& Brews, creating an energetic, unforgettable, familyfriendly dining and entertainment experience.
Rock & Brews signature setting is reminiscent of a 360
degree family-friendly concert experience with trusses
overhead and concert lighting that casts an array of
colors on the picnic tables below. Multiple screens and
a stellar sound system broadcast some of the greatest
moments in rock history. On the walls are rare oversized
collectors canvas rock posters, iconic concert and tour

art, and a prominent Great Wall of Rock mural, a largerthan-life tribute to rock legends. Most of our locations
offer a play area for children.
Our menu proudly presents our creative spin on fresh,
quality American comfort food, including salads, burgers, sandwiches, wings, and pizza, along with a variety
of gluten-free and healthy options. Additionally, each
location offers its own regional favorites. And, keeping our little rockers in mind, we offer a childrens menu
with a great selection of kid-friendly choices, along with
rock-themed coloring templates and other fun activities.
At the altar of rock, we present an extensive selection
of featured craft beers and wines, with many locations
offering full bars. Every restaurant boasts an eclectic
mix of traditional American beers, local brews, and the
finest craft beers from around the world.

souls and music lovers everywhere.

Discography
It started in the summer of 2010, when highly respected
concert tour manager Dave Furano (Rolling Stones; Bob
Dylan; the Grateful Dead; The Doors; the Allman Brothers; George Harrison; and, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young;
among others), his brother, concert merchandising
industry pioneer Dell Furano, and restaurateur/hotelier extraordinaire Michael Zislis got together for a KISS
concert.

than rock and brews? A spontaneous brainstorming
ensued, engaging the diverse talents and creative energy of the five friends bound together by their love of
concert rock, and Rock & Brews was born.
The collaboration, combining extensive concert, branding and restaurant experience, with the immense
international fan-base of KISS, has produced a new
brand that is widely engaging and poised for thoughtful
worldwide expansion.

Mike Reynolds
Reynolds, an expert in all aspects of franchising, mergers and acquisitions and bringing concepts to the stock market. He has sold
more than 750 franchises domestically and internationally and
was responsible for the mammoth Arbys corporate buy back of its
Southern California market from a major franchisee.
Prior to joining Rock & Brews, Mike served as Chief Development
Officer for Robeks Corporation, where he sold more than 80 franchise agreements, reduced overhead by 40 percent and generated
a more than 35 percent increase in sales systemwide, helping to
gain a spot on Nations Restaurant News Top 20 Chains to Watch.
He has also held senior positions as Co-Founder and Senior Vice
President/General Manager for Big City Bagels, Inc.; Business Development Director for Arbys; and, as Director of Brand Development for Grand Met Burger King/Hagen-Dazs.

A visionary entrepreneur, restaurateur, hotelier, and philanthropist, Michael Zislis has dazzled consumers with a series of
well-loved and highly successful establishments. It all began
when he brewed his first beer for a school science experiment
at the age of 13. By the time he was a student at USC, he had
become a master brewer.
In the late 80s, Michael opened Manhattan Beach Brewing
Company, one of the first brewpubs on Californias fledgling
pub scene. Soon thereafter, he opened several other pubs up
and down the coast, revealing a penchant for staying ahead of
the curve on the craft beer scene, restaurant operations, and
expansionism that he has carried with him into Rock & Brews.
Over the last 20 years, Michael has been responsible for introducing an impressive collection of successful restaurant concepts and boutique luxury hotels.

Dave & Dell Furano


Concert industry and merchandising veterans Dave and
Dell Furano put the business of Rock into Rock & Brews.
Working side by side with legendary concert luminary Bill
Graham, Dave served as President of Bill Graham Presents
as well as tour manager for the Rolling Stones, Grateful
Dead, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, George Harrison, and on
Grahams ground-breaking Day on The Green outdoor
festivals. During the course of his concert career, he also
co-produced with Graham the critically acclaimed Martin
Scorsese film The Last Waltz.

Winterland Productions with Graham in the late 1970s.
Younger brother Dell brings more than 35 years of experience in the music, entertainment, marketing and licensing
industries.
Dell previously served as CEO of Live Nation Merchandise
and CEO of Sony Signatures, Sony Corp.s entertainment,
merchandising, licensing and consumer products division.
Dell has had long working relationship with many top
bands as well, including The Beatles, U2, Bruce Springsteen, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, the Who, Rolling
Stones, Michael Jackson, and Madonna.

Airport Appeal

Venue Concept

Rock & Brews Concert Bar is an extension of the Rock &


Brews brand designed for airport locations. The first airport
location opened in Terminal 5 at Los Angeles International
Airport in October of 2013. The LAX location serves as a flagship for future airport locations.

Rock & Brews is rapidly expanding into large-scale


sports and entertainment venues. The brand opened its
first two venue concession-style restaurants at StubHub
Center in the Los Angeles area in July of 2014. Several
others are in development.

Larry Drasin Director of Design and Construction
Larry Drasin of Drasin Design, Inc. in Beverly Hills, Calif., is Design Director of Brand
Development for Rock & Brews. He is responsible for overseeing the brands architecture and design. With more than 25 years of experience in architecture, interior design,
construction and project management, Larry has a knack for introducing the Rock & Brews
look in new markets, while making sure that each location takes on the sense of the place,
paying tribute to the local culture and environment.
He has designed dozens of restaurant concepts and hotels around the world, working for
such notable companies as Zislis Group (Shade Hotels and supervised the franchise prototype for several restaurant concepts), and Remedios Siembieda, Inc. (where he designed
and project managed interiors for Altira Hotel in Macau and won Best Casino Interior
Design Award in the first International Gaming Awards; served as Project Manager for
Langham Hotel Xintiandi, a luxury hotel, spa and restaurant in Shanghai; and acted as Primary Project Manager for the Hyatt-on-the-Bund in Shanghai and the Hyatt Guangzhou).

Perry Mann Director of Real Estate


With more than 30 years in the commercial real estate industry, Perry Mann is a founding
member of TradeCor and has spearheaded the companys involvement in quality real estate
projects across the country with a keen focus on the restaurant and hospitality industries.
Perrys insights and knowledge about bringing the right mix of restaurants, retail and hospitality to a project ultimately lead to maximizing asset value and performance which results
in the long term success of those projects for the company and its partners, investors and
lenders.
Among his many significant contributions to TradeCor, Perry focuses on sourcing and maintaining relationships with key tenants, equity partners and strategic lending institutions; the
most recent of which is a strategic partnership with, and major investment in, the new rockinspired restaurant concept called Rock & Brews. Perry provides advice and direction for
the real estate strategies for the brand, and has implemented a franchisee group to grow
franchised units of Rock & Brews in multiple territories.

Bill Goldblum Director of Restaurant Operations


As Director of Restaurant Operations, Bill is responsible for day-to-day operations and training for Rock & Brews. It is his passion for the industry and more than 30 years of expertise
in restaurant operations and training that ensure consistently excellent menu selections,
quality food and beverages, attentive service and an overall rock-inspired experience. Bills
experience includes serving as Operating Partner of Orville & Wilburs and Sausalito South
in Manhattan Beach, CA; General Partner of Pinkys Beach Club in Irvine, CA.; and Lead
Opening General Manager for Cheesecake Factory at the beginning of their expansion.
In the late 90s he started Bottomline Restaurant Consulting and has worked with many of
Southern Californias notable independent restaurants such as C&O Trattoria in Venice and
The Cottage restaurants in San Diego and Boston. Concurrent to his roll with Rock & Brews,
Bill serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for Zislis Group (Shade Hotel, and the
companys restaurant brands, RockN Fish and The Strand House).
