factory, the building was designed as non-institutional in specific contrast to the prison environment,

This iconic Grade II listed circular guide frame is 25m high and over 35m in diameter. It was carefully
dismantled in 2011, has been refurbished and is now being re-erected north of Regent's Canal and is due to
host a new public park. 1950/2013.

The four storey building complete with a roof top multi-use games area above the sports hall not only
maximises the available external play spaces on what is a very small site, but also accommodates
significant level changes across the site. The design also facilitatated the two-phase construction process,
which was needed to make the required decant scenario possible. The chapel and its lightwell are clad in
timber to highlight the significance of the space. Jestico + Whiles 2012.

Canada House built in the Greek Revival style under the direction of Sir Robert Smirke (circa 1820s) is the
focal point of Canadas Mission in London. The building, its stories and its history illustrate the profound
relationship between Canada and the UK. Significant restoration and expansion works to be completed in

Lowther Arcade, part of the West Strand improvements designed by John Nash in 1830. The rebuilding work
created a bank which was to remain untouched until the 1970s. The present head office, designed by
Frederick Gibberd & Partners, was opened in 1978. The design is notable for it's pepperpot towers which
