CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES
2015-2016

The overall goal of Social Studies is for the students to learn how to make reasoned decisions that impact society in a positive
way. This is done by teaching a variety of subjects, including basic knowledge of history, understanding and respecting cultures around the world,
participating in civics and society, and critical thinking skills.
I. Introduction
MAKABAYAN AS CORE OF DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES

MAKABAYAN which is composed of the different subject areas (Sibika at Kultura; Heograpiya, Kasaysayan at Sibika; MSEP,
EPP and EKAWP) has the following aims.
1. Develop the spiritual, moral, mental and physical aspects of a child.
2. Provide experiences necessary for practical life.
3. Train a child to become a responsible, patriotic, upright and useful citizen.
4. Hone his skills and attitude towards a God-fearing individual.

To attain the above mentioned aims, the school has provided the pupils and staff of different tasks. To wit:
