5. Statement provided by institution


The college has three localities, the Burmah main campus Anson Road new campus and
Burmah Road Annexe C. All the campuses are in modern buildings with a pleasant ambience for
academic pursuits.
The College has an academic staff of 57 full and part-time lecturers all qualified with
appropriate experience and trained for various disciplines of study ranging from Law to
Business and 40 administrative staff.
The new campus library is divided into a general and a law library, with a total collection of
more than 10,000 volumes for reference and research. The College's Law Library has the
distinction of being the only one in northern Malaysia to be stocked with a comprehensive
collection of law books and journals.
The new campus has large lecture rooms, computer laboratories, kitchens, fine dining, mock
hotel for hospitality courses, cafeteria, student centre and play area, exam hall and surau room.
In the Burmah Road main campus are two large convertible examination halls, each with a
seating capacity of 140 students. A two-tiered auditorium with a seating capacity for 90
students is located in Annex C.
