What is the PetroSavers Engine Oil Refiner?
The PetroSavers Engine Oil Refiner is a proprietary and proven
innovation that not only filters engine oils, but actually refines engine
oil, while the engine is in operation. The oil refining aspect lies in the
fact that the PetroSavers product removes:

Solid contaminants, such as engine wear metals, dirt, soot and

carbon.
Liquid contaminants, such as un-burned fuels and water from
combustion and/or condensation.
Gases which are generated from the combustion process itself.

By-pass system
The PetroSavers operates on the principle of a by-pass.
The PetroSavers Engine Oil Refiner is always connected independently
and in parallel with the engine oil full-flow filter. This allows the oil to be
pumped from the crankcase through the full-flow engine filter to the oil
pressure gallery, then to the bearings, without adversely affecting any of
the engines operations.
Each refiner is an individual systems approach which can be
mounted horizontally, vertically and upside down, without
affecting operational effectiveness.

How can we reduce engine wear?

There are 3 different contaminants that enters the oil in your engine as a
result of the combustion process; solids, liquids and gases.

In order to increase engine life and reduce engine maintenance, the

removal of all the various types of contaminants generated by the
combustion of the engine must be continuously removed.

Thermal Breakdown is when the build-up of solid, liquid and gaseous

contaminants from the Combustion Process attack and ultimately
change the molecular structure of engine oil, leading to an increase in
the oils viscosity.
Thermal Breakdown of the Oil is when the viscosity of the oil changes,
making the oil thicker. Thicker oil takes longer to travel throughout the
engine thereby producing an increase in heat and causing damage or
wear to the engine.

the oils viscosity
combined with the
engines increase
in heat causes
Oxidation of the
Oil. The damage
that then occurs is
due to improper
lubrication to
certain engine
parts, caused by oil
oxidation.

The Society of Automotive Engines (SAE) Report #831317 shows

that any effective level of engine wear reduction must begin with
10 Micron oil filtration.
With a 30 Micron filter, engine wear rates were reduced by 50%
compared with a 40 Micron filter.
With a 15 Micron filter, engine wear rates were reduced by 70%
compared with a 30 Micron filter.

PetroSavers is a 1-Micron system by which engine wear

rates are reduced to an unprecedented 95%.
