Ive come to realize that trigonometry is fun even if its not my best subject. .

I
can always enjoy doing math especially in the field of trigonometry, but its hard
for me to enjoy other subjects the same way. Trigonometry is a branch of
mathematics that studies relationships involving lengths and angles of triangles.
Every subject requires a pen or pencil, but in trigonometry just seems to prefer a
pencil. This is not the only reason why I enjoy trigonometry so much. In subjects
such as English, you learn a rule, for example, you add s to make things plural,
but there are some words that adding an s just doesnt suffice. For the word
church you must add an extra e before the s so that it would sound better.

ratios

are

following trigonometric functions: Sine function (sin), defined as the ratio of the
side opposite the angle to the hypotenuse, Cosine function (cos), defined as the
ratio of the adjacent leg to the hypotenuse, Tangent function (tan), defined as the
ratio of the opposite leg to the adjacent leg. Math is full of rules that dont have
exceptions. Things such as the Pythagorean Theorem will always work for right
triangles. There will never be a right triangle where a 2 + b2 does not = c2. This is
what I like about math. Trigonometry is a subject that I think would never let me
down; it has no contradictions. Its something thats reliable and useful. I believe
that people shouldnt say that math is their worst subject if its only because they
cant solve math problems. . If my friend and I were solving a trigonometry
problem in class, and he finishes before me, I would definitely feel discouraged
because I realize that I am slower in the solving process, but when I get my
answer and know that it is the correct answer, I would feel achieved because I
have solved the problem my friend solved. This makes me believe that as long as
I was able to solve the same problem as someone else, I am not considered
worse or better than that person in trigonometry. From my experiences in high
school, Ive learned that trigonometry was understood to define relations between
elements of a triangle. Sometimes you have to step back and look at the problem
as simply as it is. Other times you have to dive into it deeply to search for
answers. Overall, I think trigonometry is an exciting adventure in which the
discoveries made will be highly relevant to our lives. I feel that trigonometry is
something anyone and everyone can embrace but only those who put in an extra

amount of effort along with enthusiasm can gain the most out of their
trigonometry experience.
