Improper installation or attachment of equipment
or accessories could result in electric shock,
short-circuit, leaks, fire or other damage to the
equipment. Be sure only to use accessories
made by Daikin which are specifically designed
for the use with the equipment and have them
installed by a professional.
If unsure of installation procedures or use,
always contact your Daikin dealer for advice and
information.

The fan stop thermostat is a thermostat with automatic

resetting. It automatically stops the motor driven fan when
the temperature of the water inside the heat exchanger
falls below the pre-set value (42C). Its use is therefore
restricted to the heating mode and it is available for the
entire range of FW units. This kit avoids cold air circulation
when heating mode is required.
The fan stop thermostat YFSTA6 can only be used in
combination with the FWEC1A controller.
The fan stop thermostat is set up to be fixed to the fins of
the heat exchanger.
For FWEC2A and FWEC3A this function is integrated in
the controller.
Also in case the unit is not equipped with a
Daikin controller, the fan stop thermostat
YFSTA6 can be used. It then operates as a
volt free contact that closes when
temperature rises over 42C. In this case, it
is the responsibility of the installer to use
this option in the appropriate way.

n The kit shown in figure1 consists of:

bracket for the assembly to the fins of the heat

exchanger.
fan stop thermostat.

n Use safety gloves.

n Take off the cabinet (if present).
n Assemble the thermostat to the bracket routing the
cables (L = 550mm) inside the opening, as shown in
figure2, until the body of the thermostat comes into
touch with the bracket.
n Bend the tails of the bracket 90 (figure3), paying
attention that the body of the thermostat stays in touch
with the bracket itself.

n Fully insert the tails of the bracket into the fins of the
heat exchanger on the electrical connections side,
and route the cables through the opening. (See
figure4).

Field wiring
n All field wiring and components must be installed by a licensed electrician and must
comply with relevant local and national regulations.
n Before obtaining access to terminals, all power supply circuits must be interrupted.
Make the electrical connection with power OFF.
For combination with ECFWMB6 controller, strictly follow
the wiring diagram in figure5.

Lesen Sie diese Anleitung aufmerksam durch,

bevor Sie die Einheit in Betrieb nehmen. Werfen
Sie sie nicht weg. Bewahren Sie sie so auf, so
dass sie auch spter noch darin nachschlagen
knnen.
Unsachgeme Installation oder Befestigung der
Einheit oder der Zubehrteile kann zu
elektrischem Schlag, Kurzschluss, Auslaufen von
Flssigkeit, Brand oder anderen Schden fhren.
Achten Sie darauf, nur von Daikin hergestellte
Zubehrteile zu verwenden, die spezifisch fr den
Gebrauch mit der Ausrstung konstruiert wurden
und lassen sie diese nur von einem Fachmann
installieren.
Sollten Fragen zum Installationsverfahren oder
zur Inbetriebnahme auftreten, wenden Sie sich
bitte an Ihren Daikin-Hndler. Von ihm erhalten Sie
die notwendigen Ratschlge und Informationen.

Merkmale

NOTA

Auch wenn die Einheit nicht mit einem

Daikin Regler ausgerstet ist, kann der
Ventilatorabsperr-Thermostat
YFSTA6
verwendet werden. Er funktioniert dann als
voltfreier Kontakt, der schliet wenn die
Temperatur ber 42C ansteigt. In diesem
Fall, liegt es in der Verantwortung des
Installateurs diese Option in entsprechender
Weise zu verwenden.

Installation
n Der Bausatz der in Abbildung1 abgebildet ist, besteht
aus:

n Verwenden Sie Sicherheitshandschuhe.

n Nehmen Sie das Gehuse ab (falls vorhanden).

Der Ventilatorabsperr-Thermostat ist ein Thermostat mit

automatischer Rcksetzung. Er stoppt automatisch den
motorisierten Ventilator, wenn die Temperatur des
Wassers innerhalb des Wrmetauschers unter den
voreingestellten Wert fllt (42C). Sein Gebrauch ist
daher auf den Heizbetrieb beschrnkt und er ist fr den
gesamten Bereich der FW Einheiten erhltlich. Dieser
Bausatz vermeidet Kaltluftzirkulation, wenn der
Heizbetrieb verlangt wird.

n Montieren Sie den Thermostat an der Halterung, der

die Kabel (L = 550mm) innerhalb der ffnung verlegt,
wie angegeben in Abbildung2, bis der
Thermostataufbau in Berhrung mit der Halterung
kommt.

Der Ventilatorabsperr-Thermostat YFSTA6 kann nur in

Verbindung mit dem Regler FWEC1A verwendet werden.
Der Ventilatorabsperr-Thermostat ist konfiguriert, um an
den Rippen des Wrmetauschers befestigt zu werden.

n Fgen Sie die Enden der Halterung vollkommen in die

Rippen des Wrmetauschers auf der elektrischen
Anschlussseite ein und verlegen Sie die Kabel durch
die ffnung. (Siehe Abbildung4).

Fr FWEC2A und FWEC3A ist diese Funktion im Regler

integriert.

Bauseitige Verkabelung

n Biegen Sie die Enden der Halterung um 90

(Abbildung3), achten Sie darauf, dass der
Thermostataufbau selbst in Berhrung mit der
Halterung bleibt.

n Smtliche bauseitigen Verdrahtungen und

Bauteile mssen von einem zugelassenen
Elektriker installiert werden und den
entsprechenden rtlichen und staatlichen
Vorschriften entsprechen.
n Bevor
Zugang
zu
Schaltelementen
geschaffen wird, muss die gesamte
Stromzufuhr unterbrochen werden.

ment conus en vue dune utilisation avec
lquipement et les faire installer par un
professionnel.
En cas de doute quant aux procdures
dinstallation ou dutilisation, prendre toujours
contact avec votre concessionnaire Daikin pour
tout conseil et information.

Caractristiques
Le thermostat darrt ventilateur est un thermostat
rarmement automatique. Il arrte automatiquement le
ventilateur moteur lorsque la temprature de leau dans
lchangeur thermique tombe sous la valeur prrgle
(42C). Pour cette raison, son utilisation est limite au
mode de chauffage et est disponible pour toute la gamme
des units FW. Ce kit vite la circulation dair froid lorsque
le mode de chauffage est requis.
Le thermostat darrt ventilateur YFSTA6 peut tre utilis
uniquement en combinaison avec le dispositif de
rgulation FWEC1A.
Le thermostat darrt ventilateur est conu pour tre fix
aux ailettes de lchangeur thermique.
Pour les modles FWEC2A et FWEC3A, cette fonction
est intgre au dispositif de rgulation.
NOTA

Mme dans le cas o lunit nest pas

quipe dun dispositif de rgulation

YFSTA6 peut tre utilis. Il fonctionne
alors comme un contact sans tension qui
se ferme lorsque la temprature dpasse
les 42C. Dans ce cas, il est de la
responsabilit de linstallateur dutiliser
cette option de manire approprie.

n Le kit de montage illustr la figure1 est compos de:

n Utilisez des gants de protection.

n Enlevez la carrosserie (sil y a lieu).
n Fixez le thermostat la bride en tirant les cbles
(L=550mm) par louverture comme illustr la
figure2, jusqu ce que botier du thermostat entre en
contact avec la bride.
n Pliez les queues de la bride sur 90 (figure3) en
faisant attention ce que le botier du thermostat
reste en contact avec la bride elle-mme.
n Insrez entirement les queues de la bride dans les
ailettes de lchangeur thermique sur le flanc des
connexions lectriques et faites passer les cbles par
louverture. (Voir la figure4).

Cblage local
n Tous les cbles et lments prvoir sur
place doivent tre installs par un lectricien
agr et doivent tre conformes aux
rglementations locales et nationales en
vigueur.
n Avant daccder aux dispositifs de
raccordement tous les circuits dalimentation
doivent tre mis hors circuit.
Ralisez la connexion lectrique aprs avoir coup
lalimentation.
Pour la combinaison avec le dispositif de rgulation
ECFWMB6, suivez minutieusement le schma de
cblage de la figure5.

Lea detenidamente este manual antes de

arrancar la unidad. No lo tire. Mantngalo en
sus archivos para futuras consultas.
La instalacin o colocacin inadecuada del
equipo o accesorios podra causar electro
cucin, cortocircuito, fugas, incendio u otros
daos al equipo. Asegrese de utilizar
nicamente accesorios fabricados por Daikin,
que estn diseados especficamente para su
uso con el equipo y haga que los monte un
instalador profesional.
En caso de duda sobre los procedimientos de
instalacin o uso del equipo solicite siempre
consejo e informacin de su distribuidor Daikin.

Funciones
El termostato de parada del ventilador es un termostato
con reajuste automtico. Detiene el ventilador a motor
automticamente cuando la temperatura del agua en el
interior del intercambiador de calor desciende por debajo
del valor pre-ajustado (42C). Por consiguiente, su uso
est restringido al modo calefaccin y est disponible
para toda la serie de unidades FW. Este kit impide la
circulacin de aire fro cuando se requiere el modo
calefaccin.
El termostato de parada de ventilador YFSTA6 slo
puede utilizarse en combinacin con el controlador
FWEC1A.
El termostato de parada de ventilador est previsto para
su fijacin a las aletas del intercambiador de calor.
En los modelos FWEC2A y FWEC3A esta funcin est
integrada en el controlador.
NOTA

Adems, en caso de que la unidad no est

equipada con un controlador Daikin, se
puede utilizar el termostato de parada del
ventilador YFSTA6. El termostato funciona
como contacto sin tensin que se cierra
cuando la temperatura asciende por encima
de los 42C. En este caso, es
responsabilidad del instalador utilizar este
elemento opcional de modo adecuado.

n El kit de la figura1 consta de:

n Utilice guantes protectores de seguridad.

n Desmonte el armario (si procede).
n Fije el termostato a la abrazadera donde estn
instalados los cables (L = 550mm) en el interior de la
abertura, como se muestra en la figura2, hasta que el
cuerpo del termostato entre en contacto con la
abrazadera.
n Doble los extremos de la abrazadera 90 (figura3),
prestando atencin a que el cuerpo del termostato
est en contacto con la propia abrazadera.
n Inserte los extremos de la abrazadera en las aletas
del intercambiador de calor en el lado de las
conexiones elctricas y pase los cables por la
abertura. (Consulte la figura4).

Cableado de obra
n Todo el cableado en obra y los componentes
deben ser instalados por un electricista
autorizado y deben cumplir con las
regulaciones
locales
y
nacionales
pertinentes.
n Antes de acceder a los dispositivos
elctricos, debern desconectarse todos los
circuitos de alimentacin.
Realice la conexin elctrica con la corriente apagada en
OFF.
Para la combinacin con el controlador ECFWMB6, siga
estrictamente el diagrama de cableado en la figura5.

oppure danni ad altre parti dellapparecchio.
Accertarsi di utilizzare solo accessori prodotti da
Daikin, che sono progettati specificamente per
essere utilizzati con lunit e devono essere
installati da professionisti.
Contattare linstallatore Daikin per avere consigli
e informazioni in caso di dubbi sulle procedure
di montaggio o duso.

Caratteristiche
Il termostato di arresto della ventola un termostato
fornito
di
azzeramento
automatico.
Arresta
automaticamente la ventola azionata dal motore quando
la temperatura dellacqua presente allinterno dello
scambiatore di calore scende al di sotto del valore
preimpostato (42C). Il suo utilizzo quindi limitato alla
sola modalit di riscaldamento ed disponibile sullintera
gamma delle unit FW. Questo kit evita la circolazione di
aria fredda quando richiesta la modalit di
riscaldamento.
Il termostato di arresto della ventola YFSTA6 pu essere
utilizzato solo in combinazione con il controller FWEC1A.
Il termostato di arresto della ventola studiato per essere
fissato alle alette dello scambiatore di calore.
Per FWEC2A e FWEC3A tale funzione integrata nel
controller.
NOTA

Anche nel caso in cui lunit non fornita del

controller Daikin, possibile utilizzare il
termostato di arresto della ventola YFSTA6.
Funzioner come un contatto senza tensione
che si chiuder quando la temperatura salir
oltre i 42C. In tal caso, responsabilit
dellinstallatore di utilizzare tale opzione
nella maniera pi idonea.

n Il kit mostrato in figura1 composto da:

Staffa per il montaggio sulle alette dello

scambiatore di calore.
Termostato di arresto della ventola.

n Utilizzare guanti da lavoro protettivi.

n Sfilare il telaio esterno (se presente).
n Montare il termostato sulla staffa facendo passare i
cavi (L = 550mm) allinterno dellapertura, come
mostrato in figura2, fino a quando il corpo del
termostato arriva a toccare la staffa.
n Piegare le code della staffa di 90 (figura3), facendo
attenzione a che il corpo del termostato rimanga a
contatto con la staffa stessa.
n Inserire completamente le code della staffa dentro le
alette dello scambiatore di calore sul lato dei
collegamenti elettrici e far passare i cavi attraverso
lapertura. (Vedi figura4).

Collegamenti da effettuarsi in loco

n Tutti i collegamenti elettrici e i componenti
non di fornitura devono essere eseguiti
esclusivamente da un elettricista qualificato
ed in conformit alle specifiche della
normativa nazionale e locale vigente in
materia.
n Prima di accedere ai morsetti, tutti i circuiti
sotto tensione devono essere aperti.
Eseguire i collegamenti elettrici con lalimentazione
posizionata su OFF.
Per la combinazione con il controller ECFWMB6, seguire
scrupolosamente lo schema elettrico in figura5.
