forensicsciencelaboratory,Gandhinagar,whoinspectedthecrime
scene,saysthatthecrimehadbeencommittedbysomeone"very
closetoAarushi".

TheparentscontrolledaccesstoAarushi'sroombylockingitthekeystoherroomwouldusuallylieby
Nupur'sbedside.NupurtoldthepolicethatshewasnotsurewhethershelockedAarushi'sdoorthelasttime

crime.Beforecallingthelocalpolicetoopenthedoor,hecalledatopUttarPradeshpoliceofficerandthen
hisjournalistfriendssothatthedoorisopenedinmediaglare.Gautamtoldthemthattherewaslikelytobe
aninterestingdiscovery.
WhenthelocalpolicearrivedattheTalwarresidence,themedia
wasalreadythere.Thekeystotheterracewerestillmissing,sothe
lockwasbrokentoentertheterrace.Hemraj'sbodywas
discovered.However,vitalcluesweremissingthebloodsoaked
clothesoftheperpetrators,theclothusedtocleanthefloorandthe
sheetonwhichHemraj'sbodywasdragged.
