Updates on Mercy!!
Mercy has had her biopsy, the tumor is not malignant! Praise God!
She has a cavernous hemangioma,
a type of blood vessel malformation where a collection of dilated
blood vessels form a tumor. The
risk with this tumor is excessive
bleeding when operated on.
She has had 3 surgeries and will
soon have her 4th. The doctors are
removing the tumor conservatively.
Pray for young Mercy to remain
strong, she has been very brave so
far.

Multipurpose building
The Multipurpose building will be a place for teaching, praise and worship, assembling for meetings and
even serve as a dining hall when needed.
What we do need now is the ability to buy the solar
equipment necessary to run projectors, computers, a
television for displays and fans for our hot days.
The quote to buy the solar equipment is $5231.62.
This is just the purchase price. We have to pay 18%
tax in Uganda and 10% to bring the equipment into
South Sudan, about $1,465.
This brings the equipment total near $6,700.
We must also raise funds for cement, plastering,
paint, doors, windows and furniture. This will
mean an additional $5000 at the least.
We are asking you all to join us to raise this money
and to be a part of Building a New Nation.

South Sudan
This has been the hardest thing I have ever done, leaving what I had known as
home to return to the USA to fight cancer.
In so many ways I have been blessed during this struggle. One of the biggest
blessings has been the cards, letters and gifts sent by all of you. This helps me
know I am not in this alone. Thank you for demonstrating Christ to me.
I have grown more dependent on Him as I move through this time. He is my rock
and my strong tower, my refuge in times of need. Psalm 61 and Psalm 91 have
given me comfort during times of doubt and fear.
