APPLICATIONS:
The SEAL-SCAN is used to inspect the SEAL on flat
or stand-up SEALED pouches, made of any type
material such as foil, film, paper or TYVEK, printed
or non-printed, color or transparent.
The on-line SEAL-SCAN technology uses a linear
scan (L-SCAN) mode for inspection.

Non-Contact Airborne Ultrasonic Technology:

Ultrasonic inspection has traditionally been possible only by actual contact with the product with either a liquid or dry coupling. The SEAL-SCAN, developed by PTI, is entirely non-contact
requiring no coupling medium. This AWARD WINNING technology has proven to be a highly
effective, reliable and cost reducing method in the SEAL inspection of flexible packages for both
on and off-line applications.
