All registration will be conducted online through a stipulated portal. Verbal/informal

registration will not be entertained.
Business ideas can only be registered in one of the two categories. Participants will
compete against other participants in the same category. Each category will have
a different grading scheme (see Grading Policy below).
It is advisable for teams to indicate the sub-category during registration. However,
team may develop their ideas overtime to improve their chances of winning. In
such cases, teams should indicate the minimum level (defined by our subcategories) which they are confident to achieve.
Each team should consist of 4 members.
Team members may belong to different disciplines.
All team members should be students currently studying in any recognized university
of Pakistan. Employed persons are not allowed. Age of all participants must be
within 18-25 years bracket.
Each team has to provide proof of their authenticity in the form of Permission Letter
from registrar of their university (this will help us in security clearance of participants).
The permission letter will be received by the organizers (either electronically or by
mail) by a stipulated deadline.
Teams, residing outside Islamabad, will have the option of applying for hostel
accommodation and messing in PIEAS. Accommodation will be provided only for
final event and no accommodation will be provided for mentoring session. For this,
teams have to indicate the exact no. of male/female participants wishing to avail
the option during registration. Late registration/notification of extra members will not
be entertained.

MENTORING WORKHOP
Following the idea registration stage, we plan to arrange mentoring workshops for all the
participating teams. However, only team residing in Islamabad/Rawalpindi and their
suburbs will be able to attend. Teams from other cities are most welcome to attend the
workshops but their travelling expense will not be reimbursed by the university, nor will they
be offered any accommodation in PIEAS. For such teams, mentoring material (such as
video coverage of the session) will be provided online.
The mentoring session will span over a period of 2 days over a weekend. The registered
teams will be divided into appropriate batches and they are to attend their mentoring
session on both of the days. The expected no. of teams is 100.

Industrial Mentors:
Since we will be allowing only two categories of ideas so we will invite mentors from both
fields. These mentors will help teams with their ideas.

Students Mentors:
In PIEAS we have plenty of students who have been selected for international
entrepreneurship & leadership conferences and have made us proud their outstanding
achievements. Since they have greater exposure and have been a part of these kind of
activities for long time so we plan to assign them the status of student mentors. They will
guide team about their ideas in terms of international value of their product.
