We as Muslims believe that Prophet
Muhammad SAW was the last prophet of
Allah and that there will be no prophet after
him, because the Holy Quran and Prophet
Muhammad SAW himself said so. Provided
below are some Ahadees of the Holy
Prophet SAW on the topic of Khatm e
Nabuwat.
Prophet Muhammad SAW said
“I am the Last of the Prophets. No
Prophet is there after me.”

Saad Bin Abi Waqaas (Razi-Allah-ho-

Taala-Anhu) narrates that the Holy Prophet
(Sallallaho-Alaihe-Wassallam) said to Ali
“Ali! You have the same status and
relation with me as Haroon (AS) had with
Mosses (AS) with the exception that there
is no prophet after me.”
Hazrat Abu Amarah (Razi-Allah-ho-Taala-
Anhu) narrates, the Holy Prophet
(Sallallaho-Alaihe-Wassallam) said
“I am the last of the Prophets and you are
last of the Ummah.”
“I am the seal of the prophets and you are
the seal of the Ummah.”
Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha (Razi-
Allah-ho-Taala-Anha) narrates, the Holy
Prophet (Sallallaho-Alaihe-Wassallam) said
“I am the last of the Prophets and my
mosque is the last of the mosques of the
Prophets.”
Hazrat Uqba bin Aamir (Razi-Allah-ho-
Taala-Anhu) narrates, the Holy Prophet
(Sallallaho-Alaihe-Wassallam) said
“Had there been any Prophet after me,
Umar ( Razi-Allah-ho-Taala-Anho) s/o
Khattab would have been that”.
Hazrat Abu Hurerah (Razi-Allah-ho-Taala-
Anhu) narrates , the Holy Prophet
(Sallallaho-Alaihe-Wassallam) said
“My example and example of other
prophets is as if a man constructed a
great, grand and beautiful house but left
place of a brick in one of the corners.
People come to see and go around the
house. They praise its beauty and
grandness very much and wonder why
this last brick was also not fixed.” The
Holy Prophet (Sallallaho Alaihe
Wassallam) said, “I am that brick and I
have completed this palace of prophet
hood as I am the last of the prophets. (I
am the seal of the Prophet Hood)”.
Hazrat Sobaan (Razi-Allah-ho-Taala-
Anhu) narrates, the Holy Prophet
(Sallallaho-Alaihe-Wassallam) said
“There will be thirty faithless liars of the
highest order. Each one of them will claim
to be a Prophet. Whereas in fact, I am the
last of the Prophets. No Prophet is to
come after me”.
Hazrat Abuzar (Razi-Allah-ho-Taala-Anhu)
narrates, the Holy Prophet (Sallallaho-
Alaihe-Wassallam) said to me
“O Abuzar! The first one of the Prophets
is Hazrat Adam (Alaihe-Salaam) and the
last of all the Prophets is Hazrat
Muhammad Sallallaho-Alaihe-
Wassallam.”
As Muslims we also believe that Prophet
Muhammad SAW was Sadiq and Ameen
and never told a lie even when
he didn’t started receiving revelations. Now
if after Prophet Muhammad SAW someone
claims to be a prophet, than according to the
Ahadees of Prophet Muhammad SAW such
a person is a liar (Kazab). However, if
someone refuses to call this false prophet a
liar (Kazab), it would mean that he is
actually accepting him to be truthful (Sadiq).
If any muslim accepts a false prophet to be
truthful and not a Kazab, this would mean
that he is calling Prophet Muhammad SAW
to be a liar (Kazab).
Zaid Hamid’s continuous refusal to call
Yusuf a Kazab is nothing other than
calling Prophet Muhammad SAW a
Kazab.
