COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course deals with the study of the nature, types, effects and also the extinguishment of obligations; contracts,
Their essential requisite and form; and defective contracts, quasi-contracts, natural obligations, and estoppel.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, the students are expected to:

COGNITIVE
1. Identify the nature and effect of obligations.
2. Identify the stages, elements and form of contracts.
3. Equip herself with the necessary knowledge about the basics of business law.

AFFECTIVE
1. Appreciate the role of the government laws to the accounting and business world.
2. Appreciate the role and importance of the law to our daily lives.
