Spanish Progress of Redemption

Water the Earth

Watch Paul Thompson ('62) teach Buck Hatch's

journey through the Bible in Spanish. The
course studies the relationships between the
different parts of the Bible, and traces the
unifying theme of redemption as it progresses
from Genesis to Revelation. This is an excellent
resource for ministry in the Spanish language.
English version also available.

Aaron Little ('13) wrote Water the Earth to help

Christians understand their personal mission in
life, long and short term perspectives. CIU
professor, Dr. Mike Barnett, says he hasn't
read "a better, more concise, incisive
guidebook" to the mission of God.

Alumni Spotlight

Rev. Joshua Zhong ('87) came to know the

Lord and attend CIU "miraculously." At CIU,
he and his wife Lily were inspired by Dr. and
Mrs. Layman's adoption story. In 1989 Joshua
was the first mainland Chinese person to be
ordained in the US since 1949. In 1992
Joshua and Lily opened CCAI in their
basement, offering adoption services that
were personal, professional, and affordable.
By 1998 CCAI became the largest China-only
adoption agency, with two children placed
every working day.
