God’s Unfailing Love

Volume 1 - March 18, 2010

Article By: Cynthia Wilson – www.cynthiawilson.org

The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an
everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My
faithfulness to you. (Jeremiah 31: 3).

I have no doubt that God loves us today. However, in times of disappointment, death, tragedy,
sickness and affliction the enemy assails our minds with fiery darts of unbelief of God’s love.
As God have promised His love to the nation of Israel, He
has promised His love to you. He draws you to Himself
with His loving-kindness.

Yet, you might say, where is His loving-kindness in the

midst of my aching heart and this affliction. Let me
reassure you He is present with you.

…….for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail
you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will]
not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you
helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on
you)! [Assuredly not!]. (Hebrew 13:5)
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently
and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized
with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? (Hebrews 13: 6).

Begin today to take your eyes off your problems and focus on God as your Provider, Deliverer,
Healer and Protector. Let God be magnified in your spirit and in your soul and see your enemies
scattered. Choose to put on the full armor of God and fight victoriously in this battle, after all, the
battle is not yours, but it belongs to the Lord. Take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of
God. Command the spirit of fear to leave your life. God did not give you a spirit of fear, but of
power, love and sound mind. Walk in love, and ask God to help you see from His perspective.
There are some of you that are still looking back in the past at your failures, disappointments, and
broken relationships. Now is the time to release those painful memories to God and ask God to
begin a healing in your heart. Now is the time to release those who have wounded and hurt you
deeply by forgiving them genuinely. May God begin to penetrate your heart with the power of
forgiveness this very moment; receive it and may God impart into your being the ability to forgive
every individual..

Some of you cannot forgive yourself; let me say to you that God’s grace is sufficient for you. The
blood of Jesus is so powerful that it cleanses and washes away all sin and iniquity. God takes our
sins and removes them as far as the east from the west. He remembers them no longer. If we say
that we cannot forgive and love ourselves, we’re saying that what Jesus did for us at the cross is
not enough. The word for you today is to forgive yourself and let go of all condemnation, there is no
condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God,
Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His
commandments, to a thousand generations. (Deuteronomy 7: 9).

For a surety, God continually extends His love to us. It is important that we stand strong in faith;
trusting His unconditional love even in midst of trials, tribulations and difficulties. Don’t settle for
the lies of the enemy, God has not forsaken you.

How precious is Your steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge and put their trust
under the shadow of Your wings. (Psalm 36: 7).

For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height
nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which
is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 38-39).

Blessings to you,
