especially those that are targeting young

OBJECTIVES
To explore the concepts of hate and
violence in all their forms .

To understand better how we are

influenced by and how we are involved
in hate and violence in our everyday life .
To reflect on how hate and violence affects the
communities in which our youth organizations are based .
To reflect on how hate and violence impacts Europe and
young peoples sense of being European .
To open the topic of possible strategies and activities
combating hate and violence .

VENUE
Accommodation and activities will be organized in Rustavi
International Scout Centre about 20 KM from Tbilisi , which
is a recently built youth centre hosting regular local and
international youth events every year . You will be
accommodated in the dormitory rooms , in mixed country
groups with persons of the same gender . bed linen are
provided . Free wireless internet is available at the venue .
NOTE : Organizers will not provide any accommodation for
additional stay in Georgia . If participants plan to arrive a
few days earlier or depart a few days later they are kindly
requested to inform us and we will be glad to offer
assistance with booking a hotel .
NOTE : Please make sure you notify us about any dietary
requirements before the course .

To develop youth workers / leaders

competencies in dealing with hate and
violence in the youth work and in their
communities , such as non - violent
communication and action , dialogue , crisis
communication , mediation , media literacy , etc .

To develop strategies and activities for involving young

people in combating hate and violence .
To create and develop projects that will be implemented
by young people and the partner youth organizations .
To support the implementation of the long - term projects
on the local or international level .

VENUE
Accommodation and activities will take place in BRNO , the
second largest city in the Czech republic . The program will
take place in Caf Bajkazyl - social enterprise run by an
NGO Ratolest ( www . bajkazylbrno . cz ) and which will serve
us vegetarian lunch during the training course .
The accommodation will be specified .
NOTE : Organizers will not provide any accommodation for
additional stay in the Czech republic . If participants plan to
arrive a few days earlier or depart a few days later they
need to cover they stay by themselves .
