Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net.

Each team
tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.[1] It has
been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since 1964.

The complete rules are extensive. But simply, play proceeds as follows: a player on one of the
teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or
arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's
court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may
touch the ball up to 3 times but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively.
Typically, the first two touches are used to set up for an attack, an attempt to direct the ball back
over the net in such a way that the serving team is unable to prevent it from being grounded in
their court.
Volleyball is one of the most common sports here in the Philippines. It is mostly played by ladies
to improve their physical state.
Last March 14, 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena was the tournament of UAAP season 77 womens
volleyball. It was a tight fight between Ateneo Lady Eagles and De la Salle Lady Spikers
competing for the championship. Though they will receive a cash prize and a trophy, the
champions wanted to seize the privilege of their school.
The Ateneo Lady eagles gained the title with a score range of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-23
with their rival De la Salle Lady Spikers. This is their two in a row victory for them for the past
year. The Ateneo Lady Eagles team captain, Alyssa Valdez tallied a game-high do point s her
teammate, Amy Ahmiro was Final MVP. While De la Salle Lady Spikers team captain, Ara
Galang, had a leg injury, wasnt able to play for her team which made a disadvantage to the team
but still her teammates were able to fight to gain the title. The De la Salle Lady Spikers were
leading at first set but their rival wouldnt accept that so the score once again was 25-22, lead by
the Ateneo Lady Eagles. This scoring continued until the third set and yes, the Ateneo Lady
Eagles were again the champions.
These ladies are role models. They influence other people to try something different and
new and to get out from their shells. Plus, playing sports will improve your physical, mental and
social aspect. This sport requires great strength and this challenges my capability to serve and to
guard my team.

for sport. Persons engaged in cycling are referred to as "cyclists", "bikers", or less commonly, as
"bicyclists".Apart from two-wheeled bicycles, "cycling" also includes the riding
of unicycles, tricycles, quadracycles, and similar human-powered vehicles (HPVs).One sport that

I find Interesting is biking. I myself, is a fan of adventure so I find biking fascinating. I find
biking as a way of exploring, therefore it kind of fulfils that sense of wanderlust that one is
looking for. Biking or cycling as other people call it, can have many benefits for us. Regular
cycling can have an impact on both physical and mental health. It is one of the best way to
reduce risk of health problems such as stroke, heart attack, some cancers, depression, diabetes,
obesity and arthritis. The only negative thing about biking is it can be unsafe if you are not
careful (with many more). Since you will not be the only one on the road, you have to be careful
with the reckless people that will be sharing the road with.
As you can see, there are more pros than cons of biking. The con can easily be preventable. For
adventure lovers out there, why not try to explore new places while also benefiting your health.
American football
American football is a sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with
goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with control of the oval-shaped football, attempts to
advance down the field by running with or passing the ball, while the team without control of the
ball, the defense, aims to stop their advance and take control of the ball for themselves. The
offense must advance at least ten yards in four downs, or plays, or else they turn over the football
to the opposing team; if they succeed, they are given a new set of four downs. Points are
primarily scored by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone for a touchdown or
kicking the ball through the opponent's goalposts for a field goal. The team with the most points
at the end of a game wins.
A unique sport about gaining territory and scoring with field goals and touchdowns. Its a game
of inches played on a field measured in yards. Sucan is based on how many yards does a team
accumulate. The shorter the ground the cover, the higher the chance to have a touchdown.
American football was adopted or from rugby, the Europeans original version of football.
I like this sport because first it is not just about brutal force, a strategy is also needed in the game
play. Teammate is a must and a strong band between teammates is key for a team. The sport
shows how trust is exercised and friendship is tested. A good strategy is nothing without good
and skilled players. Football is like any other sport, it brings out ones passion, sense of
brotherhood and loves for the sport.
Auto racing (also known as car racing, motor racing or automobile racing) is a sport
involving the racing of automobiles for competition. The main aim of an individual event is to
set the fastest time in a set number of laps or time limit. The finishing order is determined by
race time, with the fastest time in first place, second-fastest in second place and so on. Any driver
failing to complete a race for any reason is deemed "retired or, more commonly, "out". Retired
drivers will have their positions determined by the order in which those retired, with the first to
retire finishing last, the next second-last and so on.

Car racing is known for ages because of its uniqueness and excitement is provides to fans and
players. This sport became more popular because of movies being released by famous directors.
Everybody likes a nice car right? So this sport is some kind of obsession and a hobby for other
people. They like put their life on it and cant go without it. The thing that this sport catches me
is that it requires great effort, courage and knowledge from the participants. We all know that this
is one of the most deadly sports in the world. Participants need to be extremely trained and have
the guts to participate to such an event. Technically speaking, I also come to a point that I want to
join such competition but my father told me not to. It is very unusual to a girl participating such a
sport right? Life is on the line with this sport so you need to be very careful with all your
actions. Dangerous yet so full of mystery kind of sport. Courage, trust and determination are the
keys to victory.

A marketing student from the University of Baguio named Anton Ramos, 18 years of age is a
very charming guy, very famous, and a very good dancer as well. Because of his charms and his
passion of dancing, he became famous to girls and they are all over him. Girls wishes to be his
girl, they all idolize him. They all think hes like a prince charming riding a white horse.
Lets assumed that I know the girl hes dating at the moment. According to the girl, this guy is
very sweet; he will do anything to make you fall in love with him. He doesnt just do words, he
do it with actions also. He will make you feel youre the luckiest and happiest girl and he will
always make you smile. But the problem is he will change the moment you say yes to him, he
will change the way you will regret saying yes to him. And in my perception, we all know that
boys will always be boys. Im not saying that all boys are very flirty and dont have satisfactions,
but most of them do. They all want their satisfactions satisfied thats why if they are not satisfied
with something or someone they will look for something that will satisfy their
craving/satisfaction. Just like in the case of Anton Ramos, hes not satisfied anymore with the
things or with the feelings that his girl provides. He wants more. Something different from the
usual. Thats why in the end he will just leave the girl by herself hurt, broken and he will look for
someone better.
Anton is very charming and very nice guy; he is not the kind of guy who will walk down to
session road and fuel like hes very attractive. Hes humble yet his friendliness or humbleness
can lead him being a flirt.
Vanna:
I have a friend whose name cannot say so lets just call her MB. She is 20 years old and at first
you wouldnt think to talk to her or to be friends with her because of her intimidating face but
once you get to know her. Shes not so bad.

For the time Ive known her until now, I think that shes a good friend but of course there are
some negative sides of a person. No one is perfect after all. When I need her shes there, when
she needs ne Im also there for her. There are just times when I feel like Im just being used.
There would also be times where she would call/text me when she needs something. But I feel
like the reason for this was because of the distance that came between us in the past couple of
years due to me going to a different place.
To sum it up, shes good at listening and giving advice, but of course despite her negative
aspects, I overlooked them because I know that theres nothing time and effort cant fix.

There are lots of time I see on the internet or on the news about him walking a body image of

works for young children and helping some homeless people. The problem with Justin is that he
is a jerk and a lot of pride and he doesnt respect his fans or other people.
He has the talent and the heart; the only thing that destroys him is his pride and his attitude. If he
wants to become a good artist one must have a talent and a nice behavior. He should learn how to
respect and tone done his pride to other people especially to someone who is older than him.

Show me you true color and lets finish this battle. That is what I want to tell her every time we
meet. Lets just call her MISS ALYSS, 17 years old, had a nice face and a body to die for. She is
popular to everyone especially to the boys. She is smart, tall and good-looking and has the
money. She has a complete family and she gets what she wants with her own ways.
MISS ALYSS is a childhood friend of mine. Shes been my friend when Im still 5 years old. But
everything has changed after doing something unforgiveable. I was in the line being the class
valedictorian and Miss Alyss us doing something in my back in order to surpass me. There was a
rumour about her and our science teacher being in the relationship and also has a boyfriend that
is already married. She also donated a television in order to get the attention of our principal.
And guess what happened next. Yes you are right. She becomes the class valedictorian. And that
is now I ended having a conclusion that is a bitch and needs to be burn in hell!
To cut the story short, things between me and her are still not in good terms even though we had
our so called closure. Maybe I am being irrational for not forgiving her yet but still I know she

Milk tea scarcity

-nowadays, milk teas are one of the most popular drinks in the world especially on the
Philippines. They tend to post it on their social networking sites to let everyone know what they
drink. But one tragedy changed that kind of thinking. After the death of two civilian by just
drinking a milktea from a certain store. Six days after the incident, no definite cause for the
apparent poisoning has been found, at least according to Department of Health, which announced
on Monday, May 4, that preliminary results were negative for suspected toxic substances.
Food poisoning was one of the initial and immediate conjectures right after these two civilians
fell ill after minutes after drinking the milktea. The Manila Police District initially said it was
looking at the possibly cyanide in the drink.
What are we to make this care, which grow more peculiar by the day? How is it hard, given
modern science and technology, to ascertain within days whatever it is that was powerful enough
to killed two people in matter of minutes? The longer this baffling case remains unsolved the

greater the anxiety among the public. What exactly happened here? A clear, prompt, straight
forward answer would much be appreciated.
Food for the Brain
For our brain to function properly, we must take care of it. One way of taking care of it is eating
the proper food. The brain requires nutrients just like your heart, lungs or muscles. But which

If you want your brain functioning every time that you need it, you should include these brain
foods in your diet.
Fast foods: good or bad?
Fast foods are in but are it healthy? Because of modernized technology the human race managed
to find ways of cooking food. In prehistoric times, man discovered fire and how to use it. He
discovered that he can cook food with fire or in other words for todays modern way,
barbecuing .
For today we have this method of cooking called frying. It makes the food juicy and sometimes
crispy, the people love it. Then fast food restaurant was corn, where you go there will always be
a fast food restaurant in every corner. Yes Fast food is delicious, but what is it thats in these food
that we love and can consume, for you to find out you just have to look around you, look at the
different sizes of people. Did you ever wonder why the different sizes of people? Yes its because
of cholesterol and the GMO products in the fast foods. GMO has good effects and as well as bad.
But it is in your hand how would you judge and critic these. You are responsible for your own
actions.
To be sexy or to be fit?
People nowadays feel conscious about their body especially teenagers and young adults with
ages 17 to 30. They find time to do everything that is needed to make their body in good shape
but have you ever thought of why they are doing this? Some would answer, theyre doing this to
be sexy while others would answer, and they are doing these to be fit.

Being sexy is a great appeal to the opposite sex. One question is how can we be sexy? Of course
first is exercise and workout. Some attends the gym everyday or every other day that spends 2-4
hours of their time with high price. Some would also hire a personal trainer. In terms of food,
they would go on diet and skip meals. They eat meals that are less nutritious like proteins bars or
3-in -1fod supplies. They also skip meals which is unhealthy because the nutrients needed in
your body are imbalanced.
How to be fit? Just like being sexy being sexy also needs exercise or workout and diet but
balanced and healthy. A fit person makes sure that their food intake might be small but at the
same time full with the nutrients. Their meals are complete, complete meaning their meals
contain the nutrients needed in the body as the food pyramid requires.
