10% success rate, 90% failure rate and killing innocent people.. this program must be terminated. Period. And Mr. Miller, we can feel your
frustration with all this.

Tracey, I am not against technology, in the military as in Business/ Finance I am against anything that has a 10% success rate and a 90%
failure rate and this 90% consists of killing innocent people.

And from what I have read on CSIO and I quote someone ( I believe it was Mr. Miller but I am not sure) "Technology has rendered us rudderless,
engineless, guideless, Communicateless, fightless".That being said, I have a feeling that in the military things have got to take a step back
concerning technology. The person that made this statement can best answer this technology question.

Unfortunately AI is not as good as people like to think. While it has been around for a while and technological advances are happening all the
time, in the end it is still a computer executing instructions searching for patterns or attempting to calculate a score to determine the next
action. The real world is far more complex and ultimately nothing wil ever replace a human.
AI also lacks morals and ethics, so if we want essentially "dumb" killing machines then sure drones are great.

I have to agree with Bella, such a low hit rate it appalling and actually more damaging to the cause and credibility. Actually it has no credibility
with that sort of accuracy rate. Trust is the hardest thing to gain and easiest thing to lose.

Tracey, everyone that reads my entries knows that I am all pro-American pride, boldness, creativity, advancement and I can't stand when
bullies try to intimidate the US and we do nothing about it. But we cannot build our strength at the cost of so many innocent people, because

that is like building a house on sand and you know what happens when a strong wind comes in. As Ned Farhat stated, trust is the hardest thing
to gain and the easiest to lose. Continuing with anything that has a 10% success rate and kills 90% innocent people is exactly like continuing
building the Zumwalts, knowing they can only do 10% of what they were meant to do and do you know how much that costs us? At least 5
trillion dollars that the expert says in STDW.

It is everyone's problem not military. If you think it doesn't affect us as a nation then you are wrong because it does. It has nothing to do with
being an American but rather we have every country living on the US so we issues. It is also noted that State is more powerful than
Federal.....take my state, Texas.....we are strong and function more like our own country. We also scan our borders with drones and they are
equipped to take you out. Texas doesn't put up with crap, and that's why we don't have issues here llike other places. We also have the
biggest military, law enforcement, bordr patrol and agencies....we use a lot of advanced tactics and technology here and we are a big State.....

Tracey, we are 18 trillion dollars in debt which makes us almost slaves ( that is what debt is slavery), out of that 18, I know at least 5 trillion
are completely wasted in failed projects like the Zumwalts , drones, etc. and 6 trillion in projects that are not completed. We are in a very
precarious and weak condition concerning our National Defense, we simply don't have anything to defend ourselves . When the Bush Son
Administration started there were only a few Terrorist groups, now there are thousands and thousands and the number is growing. Why do you
think that is happening? Guess who this data comes from? CSIO and the expert in the military, a man that has 30 some years of experience
and lives this on a daily basis --Thomas J Miller. So, when I have to look at your data and compare it to CSIO's and Mr. Miller's, who do you think
I will trust more?
Anything with a success rate of 10% , either they fix whatever needs to be fixed ASAP and reverse the trend or the project should be

terminated because the costs at all levels far outweighs the benefits. And I am a Fraud Examiner/ Auditor. I just want the waste and Fraud to
stop because I am getting tired of everybody playing with taxpayers money on things that do not work and that put us in a precarious
situation.

I agree with Thomas, I'm not disagreeing about that. But don't diss, everything. It sounds like your against many things. There are certain
aspects that are always not going to be perfect nor complete in the Intelligence Community but it has always been like that. I'll give you an
example.... look at the Flame Blended Virus.... it is an stealth advanced blended virus that attacked Iran Defense system in 2012. Now there
are only 2 countries capable of such an advanced technology....us and Isreal. It is thought that we made half the blended virus and Isreal made
the other half. This advanced stealth mode went undetected for 5 or 6 years before being discovered by Iran. It also keeps key codes,
passwords, files and much much more. The problem is, it is untraceable to the host. No one knows the information that it obtained. This same
virus, if it attacked the US government or even private sector we'd been vonerable. So, yes it's sad that statistically, our advancements aren't
perfect, but never is and yes, people suffer and it's not fair. We have to consider the bigger picture.

It is only by looking at the bigger picture that we can evaluate the means. It protects our military and civilians and there are always casualties
in war. It's a very sad then but then again, if you ever lived in a 3rd world country and seeing their own people tortured and violated, it is
worth taking out terrorist, organized crime, human trafficking, drug cartels and so how at bay rather them getting ahold of us or beheading the
innocent and letting them harm vhildren or women. At times one must make hard decisions to protect the majority of the innocent.

The sad part is that US drones never protected 90 % US soldiers who were attacked by Taliban from Pakistani BALOCHISTAN , it was a callous
exercise where Pakistans FATA region which had nothing to do with 90 percent US deaths was attacked as Pakistani usurper Musharraf was all
along deceiving Americans and US government all along deceiving US public that they were attacking the bad guys

Tracey, if something only has a 10% or even 30% success, that is called failure. Nintendo warfare is grossly ineffective and even more so when
based on dubious intel.
Maybe if they were used for gathering Intel as opposed to launching missiles/bombs they would be more effective.
As time has shown over and over again, nothing beats soldiers on the ground for effectiveness and precision.

Between 2007 to 2015 and ongoing the greatest scam in US military history was practised in Pakistan and Yemen.
I have been physically present in Af Pak and personally surveyed entire Af Pak border 9 times between 2003 and 2015. I visited all major
provinces of Afghanistan where US forces were involved in fighting.
The sad part is that the much trumpeted drones actually did not hit the real killers of US troops at all.

To keep this discussion simple summary of my conclusions based on exhaustive evidence is as below :-THE COMEDY OF ERRORS STARTED IN 2009 WHEN OBAMA REGIME WAS SWORN IN
Till 2008 Afghanistan was a safe place.
US casualties were low and one could move around the country .
After 2009 Afghanistan became unstable and unsafe and this insecurity travelled to Pakistan also .
There were two reasons for this .
A naieve president Barrack Obama aided by a more naieve man called Brennan visulised a directionless strategy called SURGE involving
lunging US troops in penny packets in Helmand , Kandahar and Kunnar. This led to 1400 US casualties in actual action .
A dubious program called Drones program was unleashed on two Pakistani districts called North and South Waziristan.
Open challenge to anyone who thinks that NWA and SWA areas insurgents were involved in attacks on US troops
Travel from Kohat to Quetta by road.It is an 18 hour journey .It is physically impossible for anyone in NWA or SWA to command or coordinate
attacks on US troops in Helmand or Kandahar where 90 % US casualties occurred.
In addition we did a complete two year survey and conclusion was that 90 % US deaths were due to infiltration from pakistani balochistan
which was never attacked by US drones as this was Pakistani mainstream area and US drone attacks were unacceptable to pakistani state in
this area.

US Decision makers totally incorrectly assessed who were killers of US troops
Three groups were involved in attacks on US troops and these were based in Pakistan with their operational groups in Afghanistan and moving
back and fro to Pakistan. (1) Mulla Omar Group the largest in Pakistani Balochistan which caused 90 % casualties on US troops (2) Haqqani
Group , the smallest based in North Waziristan whgich enjoyed closed ties to Pakistani state and solely attacked CIA , CIA linked contractors
and US interests in Kabul ,thus involved in nominal attacks on US troops (3) Hikmatyar Group in North the second largest and attacking US
troops in Kunnar,Nuristan ,Laghman ,Kapisa and Ningrahar.

US Decision makers chose FATA regions two districts NWA and SWA which had no connection with us deaths in Afghanistan
The reasons were as below :-The regions were identified by Pakistani military usurper as centre of gravity of terrorism . Since the region had links with attacks on Pakistani
usurper in 2003. So there was no diplomatic complication as Pakistani usurper secretly allowed US to target these two districts. These two
districts were inhabited by Pakistani Tribal Pashtuns who were regarded as sub humans and aborigines by Pakistans predominantly PUNJABI
MOHAJIR military establishment. Since these areas were not Punjabi or from any of Pakistanis majority ethnic groups Pakistani state led by
Musharraf had no political problems if tribal Pashtuns were killed. These areas were first attacked by Musharraf in 2003 to convince Americans
that these were centre of gravity of terrorism while Musharraf actually provided sanctuary to 90 % killers of US troops in Pakistani Balochistan.
US Decision makers got an excellent narrative to sell to its public that it was killing insurgents in Pakistan plus the hidden kickbacks involved in
the ultra expensive drone program. Also the program had no opposition in diplomatic terms on part of Pakistani state.
It was politically high risk to accept the fact that 90 % casualties on US troops were being caused by Pakistani state proxies and politically low
risk to sell the idea that 90 % US casualties were due to non state actors in SWA and NWA.Accepting the fact that Pakistani proxies would have
made US military task difficult as it involved a military confrontation with nuclear armed Pakistan.

DEDUCTIONS
Till 2007 US casualties were very low (263 combat deaths) and there was no strategic threat that necessitated US escalation into North East
Region (NE) or South West Region (SW).
Major US casualties were caused when US troops were concentrated in SW and NE regions.
US operations were conducted at section platoon and company level in 2008 , 2009, 2010 ,2011 and 2012 which exposed US troops to
insurgents and caused maximum casualties.
Insurgents were not defeated nor any strategic advantage wrested from insurgents in the above mentioned operations.
No attempt was made to fence the Afghanistan Pakistan border in SW region or NE region which would have reduced insurgent ingress
significantly from Pakistan.A precedent of such a fencing existed in Indian occupied Kashmir where Indian casualties were significantly reduced
by fencing the border in difficult mountaineous terrain.
Maximum US casualties were caused by Pakistan based insurgents in NE and SW regions i.e 295 in NE and 906 in SW thus total 1,201 out of
total fatal combat casualties of 1805.
No effort was made to attack the Taliban centres of gravity opposite NW and SW regions by US drones or by other means.
US drone attacks on area opposite SE region were pointless as only 196 US troops were killed in this area.
No mechanism was instituted to monitor that US officials in Pakistan and Afghanistan monitored how many troops Pakistan had deployed to
deter Taliban interdiction from Pakistani Balochistan into Afghanistan. Thus Pakistani state did not deploy a single battalion all along this 1500
km border from where major Taliban infiltration took place inside Afghanistan.
The idea of escalating with US troops in SW region and NE region needs to be questioned and analysed and the planners asked what they
sought to achieve by these moves ?
When US army moved into SW and NE region and units dished out piecemeal down to section and platoon level US troops were exposed to
IEDs in terrain where movements were on dirt tracks and IEDs easy to conceal. Thus most of US deaths were due to IEDs.No attempt was ever
seriously made to deter smuggling of fertilizers from Pakistan and Iran till 2012 when the war was nearly over.

We need a whole new global foreign policy approach and new institutions when it comes to the effective incorporation of drones for Stability
and Peacebuilding. Sadly the current approaches have failed as when used to attack they become a catalyst for more attacks, versus when
integrated with fixed sensors with production industries they become a resource for optimizing operations and providing security.

Check out the Dark Web. When DIY Drones started some of the young people migrated to TOR and there are amazing collaborations going on
there. Sadly there are things we wish were not there however if those around the world monitoring the Dark Web are not adapting to what is
going on there and getting ahead of it, it's due to their bureaucracy and protecting vested interests.

We must continue to support advance technology and the work (an unselfish work of our military, Ex-Military, law enforcement and those that
protect us. It's not an easy job they have. They put their lives on line every time they take and embark on any mission. Even with the UN
treaty of human rights are even violated. I know first hand. Living, working and volunteering in war zones and 3rd world countries. When they
deploy they have no civil rights. So let's ALL try to remember that. They are are our hero's even our Allis that team up with them. Take the
advancements of smart phones...we still have to work out the bugs and kinks. So keep that in mind.

problem is not with military people involved in drones.Problem is with US political leadership and their hand picked appointees in CIA like
Panetta and Brennan targetting the wrong people for various ulterior motivations like kick back. Like the Triangle Muslim Bagh Dalbandin
Chaman housing 90 % killers of 800 US troops in pakistan was never targetted despite clear intel from CIA while two districts far away in north
were targetted only because pakistani military usurper wanted these to be targeted as a deception plan. and US decision makers were happy
with targetting nobodies in NWA and SWA as they could sell to the US public , yes we are targetting the bad guys

lofty ideals but harsh realities of REALPOLITIKS will wipe out this LOFTY IDEALISM in a jiffy. Power is the only ETHIC . US won the SECOND
WORLD WAR because it was MATERIALLY OVERWHELMINGLY SUPERIOR not because of MORAL SUPERIORITY. That is the harsh reality of
history . Morality can wait and would be made to wait so long that it will consider itself of no relevance and would just fizzle out. Idealism is

bottom line is US captured Afghanistan with loss of a single CIA specialist only .US were welcomed as a stabilising force.Afghanistan was
absolute safe in Bush period with US total casualties in real action at 395 or so.Drones introduced in force by Obama and Brennan and Panetta
led to 1400 additional US fatal casualties and no strategic victory for USA . Real task was accomplished by SU soldiers and civilians on ground
till 2007 .After 2007 thanks to drones and the unnecessary surge Afghanistan became unsafe and remains so .
