DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
A.
TERRITORIAL SCOPE
The territorial scope of this Agreement shall be as set out in the Membership Program offered by AXA
ASSISTANCE under this Agreement. The scope of the services shall cover entire Republic of India, except islands.
Services shall be provided in all areas accessible by requisite service or recovery vehicles through a proper road,
including parking lots, city streets, motorways, national, regional and local roads, as long as the location is not
inaccessible to the assistance vehicles. Services shall be provided whenever the vehicle in question is immobilized
and cannot be driven on its own power. However, Services may not be provided to an immobilized vehicle if it is
already at a workshop or a garage.

B.

SERVICE COVERAGE TO THE VEHICLE

For the purposes of determining the KM coverage under the Services as per the Membership plan/program, the
coverage shall be commenced from the location of the nearest service provider of AXA ASSISTANCE, reaching the
place of breakdown and till towing of Eligible vehicle back to the nearest service provider for rendering the Service.
Services shall be provided only Eligible Vehicles provided the breakdown has occurred at a place accessible by
normal vehicles and towing equipment or if the Eligible Vehicle is not already at a workshop or a garage.

MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM(S) BENEFITS FOR TWO WHEELER PROGRAM

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
1. Repair Assistance through telephone
In the event where it is considered to be practical to advise the Service Receiver to resolve the problem on the
telephone, AXA ASSISTANCE will advise Service Receiver of the actions required and the Service Receiver will
be advised to proceed directly to the nearest repairing service provider for checking and final rectification of the
fault where required.
In the event where it is considered to be practical to advise the Service Receiver to continue driving the Eligible
Vehicle to the nearest repairing service provider, AXA ASSISTANCE will advise the Service Receiver of the nature
of the problem and the Service Receiver will be advised to proceed directly to the nearest repairing Service provider
for checking and final rectification of the fault.
2. Repair Service for Minor Breakdowns
In the event the Eligible Vehicle is immobilized on the road for a minor breakdown (definition of "minor" being a
breakdown that can likely be fixed within a period of maximum 30(thirty) minutes with no need for a specific spare
part to be replaced unless immediately available at AXA Assistance mechanics workshop), AXA ASSISTANCE
will send a mechanic that will attempt to fix the minor breakdown on the spot/side of the road.
3. Repair Of Flat tyre
In the event the Eligible Vehicle has been immobilized due to a punctured tyre(s), AXA ASSITANCE will send a
mechanic that can help the Service Receiver with the repair of the Eligible Vehicle at the Service Receiver's expense
at the nearby workshop of AXA ASSISTANCE's service provider.
4. Assistance in case of lost keys
In the event the Service Receiver has lost the key's of the Eligible Vehicle, AXA ASSISTANCE will send a
mechanic at the location of the incident and help the Service Receiver with either by making a duplicate copy of the
keys or arrange delivery of a keys from the Service Receiver's place of residence. The cost of making the duplicate
key will be borne by the Service Receiver.
5. Arrangement of emergency fuel
In the event the Eligible Vehicle has run short of fuel, AXA ASSISTANCE will dispatch a mechanic with an
emergency tank of fuel. The cost of the fuel will be borne by the Service Receiver. In this regard, maximum of upto
3(three) deliveries shall be permitted during a membership.
6. Relocation to the nearest repair centre in case of Major Breakdown
In the event, the attempt to remobilize the bike following a mechanical or electrical breakdown, a recovery bike will
be sent to the location of breakdown of the eligible Vehicle of the Service Receiver, AXA ASSIATNCE will collect
the laid-off Eligible Vehicle and take it to the nearest workshop of the service provider in order to proceed with the
repair at the said workshop.

Terms & Conditions


1. The price is subject to inclusion of RSA program with every two wheeler policy sold
2. The performance to be reviewed after 6 months and 12 months for necessary action depending on the
performance of the portfolio. 3. 3 service provisions only during a membership year. 4. Services will not be offered
at home.

General exclusions to all service coverage under the Two wheeler Program
a) Any Eligible Vehicle which has not been maintained regularly as per the guidelines of respective manufacturers
and thus is not in roadworthy condition.
b) Any event where breakdown is caused by deliberately inflicted damage, vandalism or participation in a criminal
act or offence.
c) Any Service Receiver's history where he/she has twice on prior occasions misused or abused the services.
d) Any event when the Service Receiver is found to be in any of the situations that are indicated below:
i. The state of intoxication or under the influence of drugs, toxins or narcotics not medically prescribed. For these
effects, one is under the effect of alcoholic drinks when the degree of alcohol in the blood is greater than that
authorized by the legislation on traffic, motor bike circulation, road safety, or similar ones in the country where the
incident occurs.
ii. Lack of permission or corresponding license for the category of the Eligible Vehicle or violation of the sanction
of cancellation or withdrawal of them.
e) Those accidents resulting from the illegitimate removal of the Eligible Vehicle.
f) Those accidents or breakdowns that are produced when the Service Reciver have infringed upon the regulatory
ordinances as far as the requisites and number of persons transported, weight and means of things and animals that
can be transported or the form of handling.
g) Those happening when the Eligible Vehicle lacks documentation or requisites (including the Technical Inspection
of the Eligible Vehicle and Obligatory Insurance) legally necessary to circulate on public roads in the country where
the Eligible Vehicle is found.
h) Any Eligible Vehicle involved in or liable to be involved in legal case prior to or post immobilization.
i) Those caused by fuels, mineral essences, and other inflammable, explosive or toxic materials transported in the
Eligible Vehicle.
j) Any public vehicle like police bikes and / or fire brigade bikes and any other bike not used for private use are
excluded of all the services coverage under these general conditions.
k) Any accident or breakdown caused due to usage of the Eligible Vehicle for racing, rally and criminal activity
purposes.
l) Assistance to riders of the Eligible Vehicle different to those defined as beneficiaries.
m) Events which do not render the Eligible Vehicle immobilised are not covered under the program. Some examples
of such events are given below:

Non-functional horn
Faulty fuel gauge
Non-functional Speedometer
Bike headlights, blinkers not functional during day time
Non-functional Seat adjustor but the bike can be driven safely

Illumination warning lamp of ABS warning or traction control or any such non-safety related lights/service
warnings lights which do not render the bike immobilized
Broken rear-view mirror not obstructing driver's view
Damaged or faulty fuel cap but bike has sufficient fuel to reach the nearest authorized dealer
Electronic security system are faulty but do not render it immobilized and the alarm is not hooting continuously

The problems / situations mentioned hereinabove shall not immobilize the Eligible Vehicle. It is important to
consider that such a program is designed for emergencies. However, it is endeavour of AXA ASSISTANCE to
provide best customer support. In any such case if AXA ASSISTANCE finds that Service Receiver's safety might be
at risk or he/she may be in adverse situation, relevant assistance service shall be activated as a goodwill measure.
