CHAPTER 1
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Introduction
Biogas
In modern times, the first sewage plant was built in Bombay in 1859; an
idea that was brought to the UK in 1895, when the gas produced was used to
light street lamps. The Proponent aiming to introduce the conversion of biogas
to electricity with the use of cheaper and effective device which can generate
electricity from heat, this is called as thermoelectric generator which convert
heat directly into electrical energy, using a phenomenon called the Seebeck
effect (a form of thermoelectric effect). The proponent uses this as alternative
way because most of the common biogas plant uses a big and expensive
generator which is not really suitable and affordable to use.
Location
The proponents will put up the business at Vicmar Plaza P. Burgos St.,
Batangas City, Batangas.
