COURSE: ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT

FINAL INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT
SUBJECT: PERSONAL BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT
INTRODUCTION:
Personal behavior assessment is the considering personal behavior through two
factors: the value and personality of individuals in the organization. In the views of
others, individual behavior evaluating is to be the determining the personal behavior
ability, identifying the types of individual behavior in the organization.
This report refers to BASIS INFORMATION of the factors affecting to individual
behavior, personal behavior ability, and types of individual behavior in
organizations.
Next, report will complete and present the results of practical questionnaires at Big 5
and MBTI at the Appendix and this is part of the main content of the report.
Based on the basic information and results of practical questionnaires Big 5 and
MBTI, report is going to explain the issues presented at the Purpose part and that is
the main content of the report.
BASIC INFORMATION:
Why are there different individual behavior and the effectiveness of different
workplaces where? What MARS model mean in the study of organizational
behavior ? Why personal capacity behavior is affected by stress, capacity form
work and situation factors. Motivation includes the inner factors that affect the
direction, effort and persist of individual unattached behavior. Ability includes
congenital gifted and learned things that they are necessary to complete the tasks.
Role perception is the personal confidence about what action is necessary and
appropriate to resolve specific situations. Situational factors are the environmental
conditions compressing or promoting behavior and work efficiency of individual.
Behavior of individuals includes five categories and these categories are discussed
in most documents about the organization behavior. The first categorie is the
attaching great importance to work efficiency. Attaching great importance to work
efficiency are specific actions as well as the process of thinking to help businesses
reach goals. The second is the sense of responsibility. The sense of responsibility is
the concerning to behavior going beyond the daily tasks of employees. The third is
counterproductive work. Counterproductive work is behaviors that cause harm to the
organization by demolishing of assets or activity functions, or injure staff and
making their work efficiency are lower. Fourth is the involving and sticking with the
organization. Fifth is the behaviors relating to work and diligence.
First, to evaluate the behavior of individual in the organization, we need to consider
value factor. Value factor is the nature stable values, and is the trust people can
assess, and they can influence to the results people want or to the behaviors in
different situations of people. In other words, the values are the primary
consolidation, and the values are the trust leading thinking and actions of people in

different circumstances. They affect people's decision and explain the nature of
morality. People sort the values according to a priority order and call they are the
value system. Unique value system of each individual is formed and developed
through social communication, religious, friends, personal experience, and surround
social. Therefore, human values are stable and sustainable. Value has forms. Shalom
Schwartz, a social psychologist, placed personal values to ten ranges and then
organized them into four complexes in the extreme terms of these pairs are
horizontally along. Organizations need to attend to the link values - similar to
general values across the system (such as individual with the system values)
In general, we may notice that there are six distinction values throughout the culture
is individualism; collectivism; power distribution (or power distance); avoiding
uncertainties, the success (or perfectionist); self-direction (or personal and
community) and short-term direction, long-term direction. However, there will be
shortcomings if debating about values does not have considering to motivation of
the morals of individuals in organizations. Ethics relates the field of researching
moral principles or the values deciding actions being right or wrong, and its result is
good or bad. There are four values directing moral behaviors is profit, individual
rights, the distribution of justice and concerntration.
Ethics, multi-cultures and other values, saying as a general, is Value factor, is
relatively certain features that there are strong influences to the individual behavior,
and is one of two factors to assess individual behavior in organizations. Personality
factor is one other important factor using to evaluate individual behavior in
organizations. Personality factor is main purpose that is questioned, analyzed, and
discussed in this report. In addition, the basic information about the personality is
important databases will be presented clearly to make the foundation, theory basis
for this report
Personality is personal characteristics having long-term stability. In fact, there is
trusty evidences that the values and personal characteristics are relationship and
reciprocity each other. In other to understand personality, we need to make a study
of the main characteristics of personality, the speciality model of personality,
affection of personality to the behavior in organization and the relationship between
personality and career direction.
Personality originates in part from genetic, other part from the living environment of
human. Personality of human develops partly through social situations when they
have been children, and develops through communication with society and life
experiences later when they have been mature.
Having five main characteristics of personality is called to be five large raft of
personality being conscientiousness, agreeableness, neuroticism, openness to
experience, extroversion. They affect to behavior and work efficiency.
Model or method of MBTI assessment is built, designed to identify basic trends to
receive and process personal information. MBTI measure aspects: inward,
extroversion; specific trends in awareness (the sense or feeling); assessment or
decision actions (thoughts or emotional) and pricing instructions before the outside

world (or enjoy rate) of people. Through which, MBTI is one of the methods in the
assessment of how individuals in the most common working environment.
Besides, we should know two other types of personality. These are the control center
and self-control. As Holland, there are sixs groups of personality and working
environment is practice, discovery, and artists, social, forcible, and stock transfers.
Previously presented the basic information and the results of Big 5 and MBTI
questionnaire at the Appendix are the basis for evaluating individual behavior; are
the foundation for determining the main purpose of the report, and we may use them
to analysis, to explanate, and to discuss the contents of the report.
PURPOSE OF REPORT:
This Report will concentrate to focus about Personality and its influences to the
behavior in organizations, and this Report will mentione Value factor. Personality
factor is the primary purpose and is the content that they will be analyzed,
explanated, discussed in the report.

order to assess individual behavior as described above.
Based on the basic information and the questionnaire Big 5 and MBTI, Report

In personal life as well as in the work I was careful in communication, enthusiasm

with friends, colleagues. Relations properly, honesty, always obtain social skills,
thinking to solve tasks assigned full integrity. I'm a fan of debate, sometimes
criticized or fraudulent actions, and is a form enthusiast with work. BIG 5 helps me
know that I have crystal by internal instructions,
I am a careful, reliable and have reason. In life, in work, when I have pursued a
correct goal, or specify a good job to do, I always pursue patiently, try to make, and
complete my goals, or job. I am a responsible person not only in work but also in
family life, in relationships with friends, relatives. BIG 5 help me understand
patience and self-prescribed during the process that I want to pursue my goals. BIG
5 show that I was dedicated to people, have clear objectives and methods, and
having responsibility; in other words, I have patience in pursuing goals, and have
will in striving. I am a dedicated person.
Sometimes, I am also sorrow, also a bit concerned. I have high emotional stability
and a confident person. I am very tidy, careful and calm. BIG 5 help me understand
trend to experience my thoughts and my negative sensation. I am a man with
emotional stability. I am relaxed, less emotional and rather prone to distress.
I am a person ready to experience, liberal in disposition. I do not confidential, not
quiet. I am a person willing to share, learning sympathy, warm in relations with
others, very courtesy and good nature. BIG 5 help me understand my trend to
communicate with others. BIG 5 shows that I am agreeableness hics, how crystals
are "friendly near goat, hard to accept the lazy, the form and especially not keep
promises
I am the rather principles in life, less creative. However, I am a fan of learning,
rather acumen and dynamic. BIG 5 help me understand my level of openness, and
my availability of learning.
MBIT helps me understand that every human has two faces. One is directed towards
the outer world of activities, excitements, people, and things. The other is directed
towards the inner of thoughts, interests, ideas and imagination. While these are two
different but complementary sides of our nature, most people have an innate
preference towards energy from either the outer or the inner world. MBTI shows
that I tend to act first, think / consider before acting. Relationship with the outside is
important, but the first I have to do yourself good and always work for internal
principles and moral values and legal rules in the handling of the relationship.
Therefore, MBTI helps me get to know how a computer inward of myself.
MBIT helps me understand that the sensing side of our brain notices the sights,
sounds, smells and all the sensory details of the present. It categorizes, organizes,
records and stores the specifics from the here and now. It is reality based, dealing
with “what is”. It also provides the specific details of memory & recollections from
past events. The intuitive side of our brain seeks to understand, interpret and form
overall patterns of all the information that is collected and records these patterns and
relationships. It speculates on possibilities, including looking into and forecasting
the future. It is imaginative and conceptual. MBTI shows that I tend to live in the

future mentally, attend to future possibilities. I use imagination and

creating/inventing new possibilities is automatic-instinctual. I recall emphasizes
patterns, contexts, and connections. I am best improvising from theoretical
understanding. I am comfortable with ambiguous, fuzzy data and with guessing its
meaning. Thus, MBTI makes me recognize my most automatic or natural way of
perceiving or understanding is Intuitive.
MBIT helps me understand that the thinking side of our brain analyzes information
in a detached, objective fashion. It operates from factual principles, deduces and
forms conclusions systematically. It is our logical nature. The feeling side of our
brain forms conclusions in an attached and somewhat global manner, based on
likes/dislikes, impact on others, and human and aesthetic values. It is our subjective
nature. MBTI shows that I tend to search for facts and logic in a decision situation
instinctively. I notice tasks and work to be accomplished naturally. I am able to
provide an objective and critical analysis easily. I accept conflict as a natural,
normal part of relationships with people. Therefore, MBTI makes me recognize my
most natural way of forming judgments and making choices is thinking.
MBIT helps me understand that all people use both judging (thinking and feeling)
and perceiving (sensing and intuition) processes to store information, organize our
thoughts, make decisions, take actions and manage our live. Yet one of these
processes (judging or perceiving) tends to take the lead in our relationship with the
outside world ….while the other governs our inner world. A judging style
approaches the outside world with a plan and is oriented towards organizing one’s
surroundings, being prepared, making decisions and reaching closure and
completion. A perceiving style takes the outside world as it comes and is adopting
and adapting, flexible, open-ended and receptive to new opportunities and changing
game plans. MBTI shows that I tend to plan many of the details in advance before
moving into action. I focus on task-related action; complete meaningful segments
before moving on. I work best and avoid stress when keep ahead of deadlines. I use
targets, dates and standard routines to manage life naturally. Thus, MBTI makes me
recognize my “action orientation” like statistics and evaluation.

How can I use information above to orient my behavior in the future? Raising
specific examples of the results and behavior that help me to identify and
explain mysefl behavior.
With the BIG 5, generally, I feel that I am human kind of partisan changes in the
organization because it helps us winning support from changing the system of
rganization and carrying out method. I tend to be inward, careful, reliable, easy user-
friendly, careful, and ask that the work must be the result of compliance, consistent,
high accuracy, with specific professional accounting calculation high stress level,
always placed in the process measurement system of economic activities of
enterprises to provide complete, accurate and timely information for authorities, who
use the information to decision making in business. As a chief accountant of a
company facing a large volume of work, always suffer from all the stress, internal,

external customers. Because I am person having the high emotional stability, less
worrying, my pressure potential of job, my ability to suffer is very high stress.
Present and in the future, but I always have high demands for my staff. I always get
more jobs and from that, I create a big job pressure for me and for staff. These direct
to purpose that my transaction room can serve customers better and from that, I can
make my leadership a strong confidence for my capacity to work and my
responsibility for my work.
For my staff, currently, one of the main personality so that I review, assess their
personal behavior in the work is dedicated to the people because those people are
careful, thinking, responsibility and reliable. My behavior for staff, leaders as well
as other colleagues is also based on the whole-hearted of myself for my work and
general job of my company. Result of this thoroughness is from a normal employee,
up to now is the chief accountant of the company, this is also the highest title of the
accounting profession, but to me in the future still have to try auction more to
achieve higher managerial posts. Result shows that the first part of my health
information. No arising from the individuals set higher goals for myself, arising
from the subject difficult to learn, have high responsibility in the job. With the job
now and in the future, I still put your computer by dedicated staff on the location of
one of the most important factor to evaluate the results of their work. Thoroughness
of their duty to help me find that for their work and bring results to work better for
the company.
MBTI help me understands myself. In the future, I will use the MBTI to predict
trends in my information process for my decisions and I can apply the MBTI to
assess my personality and my staff’s personality in and employees in the working
environment in your.
With results from the MBTI questionnaire, I have a crystal clear instructions about
how local natural and perfect fit for my particular job. Therefore, in all these issues
need resolved, the decision in the job, in family life and in relationships with people,
I will try to think / consider logically before action. Of course, I will still always
dynamic, enthusiastic but will try not to be group when that is unnecessary. I will try
taking more time for self-study work; consider issues related to the job itself. I will
maintain business relationships with all customers, all colleagues, staff besides
making the most of diversity and change in that relationships.
With the results from the MBTI questionnaire, my most "automatic" or natural way
of perceiving or understanding is intuitive. However, sometimes, if I live with the
future, and pay attention to the future opportunities too much, I will not ignore the
current reality, not ignore the opportunities being visual presence. Therefore, I will
focus on all opportunities, including smallest opportunities being the next my daily
life, daily work. The dynamic, enthusiastic, assertive in any action is necessary
however to ensure maintaining relationships with all customers, all colleagues, staff
side job enjoy diversity and change in the relationship. This made me confused as I
resolve some problems in work and I am unable to make appropriate decisions
quickly as possible. From here, I will educate my behavior on how prone my spirit,

Website: www.griggs.edu.vn Email: gamba@griggs.edu.vn

knowledge by sensation, with the senses. Parallel that, in some problems, I still
maintain social flexibility, understanding intuitively. This way, I will have a balance
in work, because I can just use a structure organized to collect evidence and get
details to be able to specify the amount of aggregate data to incoherent decisions
league problems encountered in daily work quickly. Beside that, I can use my
imagination in creating the prospect of solving problems as a natural instinct.
However, I can use layout context and linking to cope accordingly with the most
consequential editor from theoretical understanding. Then, I can comfort with non-
specific as well as I can comfort with inconsistencies data and to know what it
means to resolve decisions to resolve these issues in my work.
With the results from the MBTI questionnaire, my most natural way of forming
judgments and making choices is thinking. I based on the relation between cause,
effect, and scientific methods to bring decisions. In work, thinking model created
many benefits for me in solving problems arising because my decision to come
emanate from these facilities scientific grounds. However, I do not pay attention to
systematic influences in my decisions. I just focus on my decisions have direct
impact to the problem should resolve. In the future, I will consider, pay attention to
the impact my decisions, at least in the views of outside work to influence the
decisions to solve problems, it can still affect or other problem or no impact to
others how.
With the results from the MBTI questionnaire, my “action orientation” towards the
outside world is judging. This shows within me, I conflict in the work I have desired
to resolve problems arising in business. Because my judgments and making choices
is thingking, I cannot collect information systematically. I make me feel confused as
to resolve some problems in work. I am unable to make decisions given appropriate
quickly as possible. Beside that, I like the order and structure in my relationship with
the outside world, like control decision-making and want to resolve this issue
quickly. However, may explain this variance easily. Sample user judging, that I was
one of them, access issues arising with a plan intended to target organized around
what, prepared, and then a new decision and instructions to complete. Therefore, I
cannot resolve issues quickly though this is my desire. From actual examples of
work myself in acting to resolve problems arising in daily work, I noticed, in the
future, for some issues I need to receive the like its nature. I need to receive flexible,
with decisions to resolve open end from which to be able to receive the new
opportunities and can resolve to change plans in a timely manner.
Analysis and explanation of behavior we, our communication with others,
favorite activities and attitude for our work through the text results from
attitude surveys, values and personality.
The results from questionnaires that Big 5 and MBTI are results of investigate my
attitudes, values and personality. I can easily analyze, explain the behavior itself, my
communication with others. I can easily analyze, explain favorite activities and my
attitude for the job by working for the orientation behavior of itself in the future. In
addition, I can point out specific examples about the behavior itself. Moreover, that

can help me identify and explain the behavior above. Supply through measurement,
my r communication elationship with people is analyzed and explained clearly
Through questionnaire results from the Big 5 and MBTI, by analysing and
explaining personality, the essential for me is the attitudes for current work and
work that orients in the future. Of course, for me as well as others, personal rights
are inseparable in life. However, to be able to reach your goals higher than
individual rights, sometimes I need to sacrifice individual rights to set the value of
collective rights over it. Specifically, in the relationship with staff, I need flexible,
integrates more. I should pay attention to the influence of the decisions in your job
for all employees. All else aims to resolve the accounting department work just a
better, advanced skills to resolve problems for staff and for yourself. From there, I
can raise awareness of the center staff meet on a common mission for better
One of the factors affecting the major goal of my work is I will enhance spiritual
relationships with staff, with company leaders, and with people can have impact to
my goal. I will have the decisions necessary to create the feeling of power allocation
formula for my employees to which it can prevent from operating these uncertainties
may occur for style transactions and for myself.
Derived from personality with values that exist in itself clearly shows the results
from questionnaires BIG 5 and MBTI, all content presented on the report has
analysis and resolution details like behavior of myself, my communication with
others, favorite activities and my attitude for the job.
CONCLUSION:
With the theme "Assessment of personal behavior," Reports have the following
purposes:
• I understand about the primary itself.
• Can I use information to direct the behavior of my future like? Specific examples of
my results and behavior of help do I determine and explain the behavior that like?
• Analyzing and explaining my behavior, my communication with others, favorite
activities and my attitude for the job through the results of survey capitalist attitude,
values and personality.
To achieve that purpose, the report completed quest Big 5 and MBTI that I am its
investigation subject. In addition, here is the main base foundation to prove the
following arguments:
I am an the inward person; earnest; that level steadfastness psychological,
conception. I have not influences by emotional and I am not tighten, do not worry. I
integrate high-level, "Last-friendly ", easy to accept; open, and ready to learn.
• My most "automatic" or natural way of perceiving or understanding is intuitive,
thinking, based on cause and effect and scientific methods to take decisions; and I
am a model Judging.
Major Result that withdrawn from Report that I understand clearly about my
personality. I am able to orient the short-term and long-term behavior in the work, in
relationships with people. The sustainable values, beliefs assessment led thinking
and actions the value of sustainable affects personal behavior. From that, I can

APPENDIX 2: MBTI
Personality - My Inventory begins here:
Q1. Which is my most natural energy orientation?
Every human has two faces. One is directed towards the OUTER world of
activities, excitements, people, and things. The other is directed towards the INNER
of thoughts, interests, ideas and imagination. While these are two different but
complementary sides of our nature, most people have an innate preference towards
energy from either the OUTER or the INNER world. Thus one of their faces, either
the Extraverted (E) or Introverted (I), takes the lead in their personality
development and plays a more dominant role in their behavior.
Naturally, I tend to:
• Act first, think / consider later;
• Feel depressed when being cut off interaction with the outside world;
• Usually open to and motivated by outside world of people and things;
• Enjoy wide variety and change in people relationships.
My most natural energy orientation / my best fits are Introverted (I).
Q2. Which way of Perceiving or understanding is most “automatic” or natural?
The Sensing (S) side of our brain notices the sights, sounds, smells and all the
sensory details of the PRESENT. It categorizes, organizes, records and stores the
specifics from the here and now. It is REALITY based, dealing with “what is”. It
also provides the specific details of memory & recollections from PAST events. The
Intuitive (N) side of our brain seeks to understand, interpret and form OVERALL
patterns of all the information that is collected and records these patterns and
relationships. It speculates on POSSIBILITIES, including looking into and
forecasting the FUTURE. It is imaginative and conceptual. While both kinds of
perceiving are necessary and used by all people, each of us instinctively tends to
favor one over the other.
My "automatic" or natural way of perceiving or understanding is:
• Living in the Future mentally, attend to future possibilities;
• Using imagination and creating/inventing new possibilities is automatic-instinctual;
• Memory recall emphasizes patterns, contexts, and connections;
• Best improvise from theoretical understanding;
• Comfortable with ambiguous, fuzzy data and with guessing its meaning;
My most "automatic" or natural way of perceiving or understanding / my best fit
are Sensing (S).
Q3. Which way of forming Judgments and making choices is most natural?
The Thinking (T) side of our brain analyzes information in a DETACHED,
objective fashion. It operates from factual principles, deduces and forms conclusions
systematically. It is our logical nature. The Feeling (F) side of our brain forms
conclusions in an ATTACHED and somewhat global manner, based on
likes/dislikes, impact on others, and human and aesthetic values. It is our subjective
nature. While everyone uses both means of forming conclusions, each person has a

natural bias towards one over the other so that when they give us conflicting
directions - one side is the natural trump card or tiebreaker.
My most natural way of forming Judgments and making choices is:
• Searching for facts and logic in a decision situation instinctively;
• Noticing tasks and work to be accomplished naturally;
• Able to provide an objective and critical analysis easily;
• Accepting conflict as a natural, normal part of relationships with people;
My most natural way of forming Judgments and making choices / my best fits are
Thinking (T).
Q4. What is my “action orientation” towards the outside world?
All people use both judging (thinking and feeling) and perceiving (sensing and
intuition) processes to store information, organize our thoughts, make decisions,
take actions and manage our live. Yet one of these processes (judging or perceiving)
tends to take the lead in our relationship with the outside world ….while the other
governs our inner world. A Judging (J) style approaches the outside world WITH
A PLAN and is oriented towards organizing one’s surroundings, being prepared,
making decisions and reaching closure and completion. A Perceiving (P) style takes
the outside world AS IT COMES and is adopting and adapting, flexible, open-
ended and receptive to new opportunities and changing game plans.
