School Blogs
This week the spotlight is on the
Ethic of Excellence Blog

Each of our year 7 classes took it in

turns to visit the lecture theatre for
a lesson. The theatre company
acted out a 15 minute piece
about a group of friends preparing
for their last day at secondary
school. The play involved the trials
and tribulations of teenage life
including how friendships are
formed, the decisions we make
and ideas to avoid making

decisions our learners may regret

and how to avoid these
situations.
Our learners comple te d
workshops with the theatre
company following the play. The
aims of the workshops were to
distill the characters in the play
and relate these to real life.
Darton learners represented the
school well, thoroughly enjoying
the play and the workshops plus
taking good ideas and learning
with them.
