is carried out but basing on the occasional feedbacks, the program is quite
effective and the objectives are met.

Recommendations to improve the wellness center would include a better


funding and a full time clinic nurse on duty to relieve the faculty who are
presently manning the facility

Student Organization and Activities Division (Office Of Student Affairs)
- The head himself is attending all activities for student services and in his
assessment their service is efficient. However, they are still open for
suggestion.
- He admitted that they are achieving their objectives. In fact, theyre
conducting survey to graduating college students and so far, they got good
results. Conclusively, the SOAD head said that they had met their goals.
Physical Education

Monitoring and Evaluation
Physical Therapy Department
- Input and assessment/evaluation from the Physical Therapy students in the
form of reflection paper or journal are the organizations means of monitoring
their program. Based on this, they could say that their program is effective
and have met their objectives as well as their goals since patients became
functional and the students are able to apply what they have learned.
- For the patients, they have no form of evaluation as of now.
Physical Education and Athletics Department
- They monitor and evaluate their program through participation of Sports
Tournaments.

Debriefing period in order to evaluate the work done.

Short-term goals have been met but not the long-term goals.

Improving programs needs more budget. They plan to adopt 1 community


for extension work.

They also go to Dauin, Zamboanguita and Valencia for extension program.

Students usually are referred to their guidance counselor.

Do not accept counseling sessions. Usually students who come to them are
from their department. They are also trying to ask the University to have a
room which can be used for counseling.

- She evaluates her clients at the end of each session.
- She allows the person to do sentence completion for the evaluation of a
certain session or program she has been offering and receives positive
feedback from her beneficiaries
- She has a general health profile of the population who comes to her
- For faculty and staff that comes to her, they are usually referred by the
Human resource Department for certain issues
- Most of the people who come to her are outside the Silliman Community.
Probably because there is fear from the faculty and staff that their
conversation will not be kept confidential although, she tells them that
whatever transpired in the session is kept confidential.
- Usually problems arise from miscommunication within the leader and
subordinate. There is a need to have mediator in order to solve a
misunderstanding. How not to judge people and our perception towards
ourselves and how others perceive us and our perception towards others.

She is open to students coming to her for counseling.

Human Resource Department
- They are responsible in monitoring and evaluating their own unit. Also, during
general meeting between heads, monitoring and evaluations are done by
input from the heads.
- How effective? Atty. Fe Marie Tagle says that the universitys faculty are so
thoroughly compensated and generously given benefit that they have very
low attrition rate
- Have they met their objectives? they have a lot of work to do, but they are
getting there
