Lectureformat:Mostmaterialwillbecoveredbylectures,however,Somematerialmaynotandituptoyouto
coveritforyourselfasnotedinthesyllabus.Thestudentwillstillberesponsibleforthismaterial.Consultthe
studyguidetofindouttheconcepts,terms,reactions,etc.youareexpectedtoknow.
Homework:Allhomeworkistobeturnedinatthetimeitisdue.Iassignelevenhomeworksetsandwillgrade
ten.Ifyouhandinalleleven,Iwilldropthelowestgrade.Eachhomeworkisworth10pointsforatotalof100
points.
Examformatandgradingpolicy:Therewillbefourexamsworth100pointseach.Eachexamwillcovera
sectionofthematerial.Thelastexamwillbegiventhedateofthefinalexam(seeschedule).Totalpointsare
calculatedasfollows:100ptsforhomeworkand400pointsforexamgradesforatotalof500points.All
studentsareexpectedtotakeallexams.Nomakeupexamswillbegiven.Examsareclosedbook.Calculators

Droppolicy:Studentswhohavenotturnedinanywork(examsorhomework)andhavenotstatedtheir
