SKILL PRACTICE
1. The small-wins strategy
a. What major stressor do you currently face? What creates anxiety
or discomfort for you?
I have too much to do. Too much tasks have to be finished
at the same time.
Financial problem is really difficult to handle, life costing is
too expensive.
Renting fee is expensive and that house is not
comfortable.
Work place is too far from home.
High performance in class.
b. What are the major attributes or components of the situation?
Divide the major problem into smaller parts or subproblems.
Maybe I didnt arrange my works in an effective way.
Many lessons have to study.
I have too much unvalued paying.
Should I find another house for rent?
Find another work which I can save time and still earn
money.
Not enough time spend for groups work.
c. What are the subcomponents of each of those subproblems?
Divide them into yet smaller parts.
I didnt focus on the class, so I need to read more at
home.
My present job takes too much time.
I need to spend some personal time with my girlfriend.
I cant earn more money with present jobs.
I need to have a spending list.

I have to spend too much time for groups works.

d. What actions can I take that will affect any of these
subcomponents?
Should I call for my team help? They also have the job
needed to finish. I can share the task for others.
I need to focus more in my class and ask my friend if I can
understand the lesson in the class.
I need to save money to be use at capital.
I need to find a new house in this month.
e. What actions have I taken in the past that have helped me cope
successfully with similar stressful circumstances?
I shared my tasks with group members.
f. What small thing should I feel good about as I think about how I
have coped or will cope with this major stressor?
I have haven a times when I have more than jobs have to
be finished.
I used to have no money in some day.
I used to handle a lot of deadlines in a week.
