AMBITION IN LIFE
Every one should have an ambition in life; Life without an ambition is not worth living. It is
ones ambition that makes one work hard and achieve greater things in life.
My ambition is to serve the society meaning fully. Many think that to serve the people by
becoming a doctor or a politician. But I would like become a teacher.
The teaching profession is a noble one. As a teacher I can meet thousand and thousands of
children in my like time. It is possible for me to mould their character. I think I can make my
children better citizens of the future country.
As Gandhiji said, The destiny of India is shaped in the classrooms. I believe in that, I do my
best shaping our children. They will inspire by my teaching to become scientist, doctors and so on.
As a Teacher I can serve in the rural areas, which needs a lot of service. A teacher will feel
happy if when he finds his students in high position. I feel proud to become a teacher to do service to
the society.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION
Pollution and Population are twins. They go hand in hand. Where there is more population,
there is more pollution. Our Country is facing these two greatest problems. Pollutions are of three
types. They are Water Pollution, Air Pollution and Noise Pollution.
WATER POLLUTION:
People use the river and well water for all purposes. They bath, they wash clothes, they wash
cattle. The sewages of the towns and cities are let out into the rivers. The polluted water causes

Serious diseases. The drainage from the factories reaches the rivers. Thus water gets polluted. The
polluted water causes serious diseases.
AIR POLLUTION:
Like water pollution, there is air pollution. The smoke of the vehicles and the factories make
the air impure. The garbage from the road sides, the molasses of the factories, the drainages of the
towns make the surrounding air impure.
NOISE POLLUTION:
This type of Pollution we have only in towns and cities. The villages are calm. But in towns
there is always great noise. The sound of the vehicles, the noise of the autos, the running of the
machines, the alarm of loud speakers all produce great noise. The noise affect the people in vain. It is
said that eh sounds minimize the life of men.
Pollution is fastly spreading its evil wings on one side. The Government is taking steps to control
pollution on the other side. People should co-operate in controlling the pollution.
