Reaction Paper about ABORTION.

What is Abortion? Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing

a fetus or embryo from the womb before it can survive on its own. An abortion which
occurs spontaneously is also known as a miscarriage. An abortion may be caused
purposely and is then called an induced abortion. The word abortion is often used to
mean only induced abortions. A similar procedure after the fetus can possibly survive on
its own is called a "late termination of pregnancy". As youth not only the country but the
world what can I say about Abortion?
Abortion is the worst thing a woman can do against human dignity. Abortion is
killing ones life. It is like taking his/her right to live. No woman has the right to kill a new
living being. Abortion is immoral and it should not be legalized. Abortion is also a threat
to the mother's health. A woman can suffer an infection or internal bleeding. She could
also become sterilized, the permanent inhability to bear a child. Abortion not only kills
the baby but may kill the mother too. Most of the cases of Abortion are those teens.
Some causes are those unwanted pregnancy or unintended pregnancy.
There are two types of Abortion. First is Medical Abortion (also called medication
abortion or non-surgical abortion) and the other is Surgical Abortion. In determining
what type of abortion to choose, access to and availability of abortion services along
with length of pregnancy play into the decision. Most women facing an unplanned
pregnancy who opt for an abortion do so early on; just over 61% take place in the first 8
weeks of pregnancy, and 88% occur in the first trimester (before the 13th week of
pregnancy.) Only 10% of abortions occur in the second trimester (between the 13th and
20th weeks of pregnancy.)
As a summary of this Abortion have many effects to a mother. We do not have
the right to kill a life especially when it is on a mothers womb. In our country all unsafe
abortions are done on teenage or young mothers. As a youth today we should know our
responsibilities. And when youre in a relationship know your limitations. So if you dont
want to get pregnant dont do that thing. There are many consequences to the babys
mother not only physical but psychological also that could last for a lifetime. And if the
baby is already there you should take the responsibility.
There are research that discovered that life begins at the moment of conception
in the mother's uterus, therefore abortion ends a human life and should be punishable
by law. As well, nine short months of pregnancy is a small cost for a life without physical
and health problems think about it. And as I end this reaction paper may I ask this
question. Do women have the right to steal the life of a new living being? Killing a
person is illegal, so why should a fetal murder be legal? Because when a woman
aborts, she is acting like any other murderer.
