The National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), the national umbrella organization of
all the ICT Councils in the Philippines in over 42 cities across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,
together withAlbay ICT Association (AICTA) will host the7th NICPICTSUMMITon October 23-24,
2015 at theThe Oriental Hotel, Legazpi City, Albay, with the theme Philippine Countryside:
Leveraging on ICT Resources for Inclusive Growth &Tourism and Technopreneurship
Development.
The ICTSUMMIT brings together champions of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
sector from the public and private stakeholders to share industry trends and development and best
practices; identify challenges and ways forward to generate new investments and new jobs for cities
outside of Metro Manila. Seven (7) key areas will be put into focus to include Information Technology
Business Process Management (IT-BPM), Startups and Technopreneurship to eCommerce, Digital
Tourism, eGovernance, ASEAN ICT Human Resource, Disaster Risk Reduction Management, and
Promotion of Green Economic Development.
The registration/ participation feesamounting to Php2,000 for early bird rate (on or before September 30)
or Php2,500 for regular fees (until October 23) of NICP ICT Council members will cover passes to various
ICT activities to include plenary and track sessions/ lightning talks, eGov Awards, startups/
technopreneurship pitching competition, hackathon/ coding competition, ICT exhibit, speed dating/
business matching, women in IT leaders caf, and job fair.It will feature renowned speakers who will
address current and relevant industry issues.

invitation to participate as we consider this summit as an update to the eye-opening agenda of our
Philippine Qualifications Framework centered on the ICT sector. It offers a national publicity
