WOOD DALE, IL - Danaher Motion introduces IDC DS4 Precision Positioning Tables. DS4 tables offer
precision performance, industrial durability and maximum configuration flexibility at commercial-grade
prices. They feature the unique IDEAL-SEAL™ system for properly tensioned seal strips, which provides for
maximum seal strip life and easy access to the table interior for mounting and maintenance. The IDEAL-
SEAL eliminates the need for springs and other small hardware that can be easily lost, and eliminates
exposure to the troublesome sharp edges of similar seal strip designs.

“IDC DS4 tables offer an easily configurable modular design with

option and accessory sets that include a variety of motor mounting
orientations, motor sizes and types, ballscrew leads, coupling types
and sizes, encoder feedback options, limit/home sensor types, and
shaft brakes, among others,” says David Kosewski, Product
Manager. “The result is a rugged and reliable precision table, with
travel lengths from 50 to 600mm that can be customized to meet a
wide range of specific precision-grade application requirements at
commercial-grade positioning table prices. The compact cross-section and economical price point of the

Semiconductor applications.”

Additional features include:

Precision ballscrew drive with 5mm and 10mm leads for high speed and efficiency with excellent
repeatability and accuracy; Standard bi-directional repeatability is +/- 3 microns, with a Precision Grade
version that is repeatable to +/- 1.3 microns

• High efficiency ballscrew minimizes torque required to drive the load

• Low profile shuttle carriage accepts direct mounting of a second DS4 for XY configurations
• Proven magnetic stainless steel seal strip technology effectively seals internal components from
contaminants
