I am seeking a full time position in management with potential for advancement. I have 12 years experience
in the transportation industry and 20 years experience in the restaurant industry. The experience I bring to a

Employment History
MVP RV \ Thor California. Manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles. Transportation Manager.
Moreno Valley, CA. August 1997 to March 2009

Thor California sold the factory to MVP RV. We shipped to dealers in the United States, Canada and Oversees. I started
with the company a night security guard was promoted to security supervisor then transferred to the transportation
department and was made the transportation manager. During my time with the company we were able to reduce
shipping cost by 40%, operating and employee cost by 25%. My department was also instrumental in creating and
implementing contracts with our transport companies through out all of the company factories.

Duties included, but were not limited to: In charge of dispatching and shipping of trailers to our dealers. Negotiation all of
the shipping cost and rates with our transporters. Quality control of all units shipped. Oversee the transport companies and
their drivers in possession of our trailers. Write policies and procedures for the transportation department and the security
department. Managed and trained all of the transportation clerks and security guards in dispatching, unit inspections and
the shipping procedures. Handle all the dealer’s issues in regards to the shipping, receiving and quality of the trailers.
Billing reconciliation of all transport charges.

Company has restaurants and franchises around the world. I started with Denny’s as a busboy and left as a lead cook and
certified trainer. During my time as lead cook we were able to reduce food cost by 30%, operating cost by 20% and
employee cost by 25% within the restaurants that I was transferred to. I was also involved in the implementation of the
star-trak system with in the restaurants to help reduce food cost through out the company.

Primary duties were: Was in charge of all aspects of the kitchen and back half of the restaurant, responsible for the hiring
and scheduling of the kitchen staff. Supervised and trained the cooks and dishwashers. Controlled the food cost, operating
cost and employee cost for the back half of the restaurant, did the ordering and receiving of inventory for the entire
restaurant. Oversee restaurant in absence of the Manager.
