IfwearegoingtolookatanAccountingpointofview,thatstakeholdersare
AphroditeandVenussincetheyaretheonesoperatingthebusinessandinvestinginit.

b.)IdentifytheproblemswithAPHRODITEsactionsanddiscusstheethical
considerationsofheractions.

Firstofall,Aphroditeseemstobealittlemoremultistreaminmanagementthan
Venussmainstreamstyleofmanagement.Withthatsaid,sheisntmaximizingthetime
thatshehas.Shesalreadyoperatingonshortertimeperiodsandshetakeslonger
lunchbreakssoIseethatshemostlytakeshertimewiththingsthuslosingthetimeshe
couldbemakingprofitlikeVenusalthoughVenus,Ithink,isborderliningonabusingthe
physicalabilitiesofherworkersandevenherselfalthoughsheismaximizingprofitsand
time.

AnotherproblemwithAphroditeisthatshemakessomanywithdrawalsalthough
Idontknowexactlyifitssosignificantwithherlifethatshejusthasto.Shesnot
maximizingprofitsandtimelikeVenusissoIdontseehowshecanbesookaywith
justwithdrawingmoney.Ifshetriedadjustingtimeandheractivities,shecouldbe
doublingherprofitsbutunfortunately,herwithdrawalsaregettingdoubledinstead.
Regardlessthoughifshesmaximizinghertimeforprofit,sheshouldntbemakingas

muchwithdrawalsassheshouldbecausebytheendoftheaccountingperiod,she
mightnotmakeasmuchassheshouldbemakingduetotheamountofwithdrawals
shehasincurredthroughouttheperiod.

ToAphrodite,itsokaytodothesethingssolongasitisagreeduponand
everythingisopenlydiscussed.Anexampleofthiswouldbewhenshetakeslonger
lunchhours.Aphroditeandtheworkersaregettingasolidamountofresttimebut
sacrificingthetimetheycouldbemakingalongtheway.Anotherishertransparency
andopennesstoVenus.Aphroditesaiditsokaytowithdrawthemoneybecauseshes
beingopenaboutittoVenusandeverythingwillbechargedtoAphroditescapital
accountanywaybuttome,thatisntavalidexcusetojustkeepwithdrawingmoney.

c.)Howmightthepartnershipagreementberevisedtoaccommodatethedifferencesin
APHRODITESandVENUSSworkandwithdrawalhabits?

First,theycoulduseVenusstimeforschedulingappointmentsandatthesame
timetakelunchbreakssothattheycouldgetabreakoutofalltheworktheyredoing
andatthesametimemaximizingtimeforprofit.
Second,theycouldagreeonawithdrawinglimitandhavealimitsetforbothof
themequallysothatneitheristemptedtotakemorethanwhattheycan.Itseitherthat
orVenusbecomesalimitedpartnersothatwhateverhercapitalcontributionisbejust
herssothathermoneyissafeandthatifeverAphroditedoeswithdrawtoomuch,

Venuswouldnotbeliableforit.Itsalsothatorthereshouldbeasanctionwhobreaks
thewithdrawallimitandbeliablefordamagesandinterestonthewithdrawalsmadeso
thereisdiscipline.
