4. The Mechanical Man

One day, an ardent devotee began a penance to please Lord Shiva. After observing the sincere
devotion of his disciple, Lord Shiva appeared before the devotee in person and granted him a
boon. The disciple promptly asked for a black horse. Shiva granted him his boon and soon the
disciple mounted the steed. Shiva explained that his horse was a celestial horse and would start
galloping only if he said Oh God and would stop only when he said Dhinki. The disciple
mounted his horse and said Oh God and the steed began galloping at breakneck speed. Soon,
they traveled hundreds of miles and approached the edge of a steep valley. In his excitement the
disciple almost forgot the command needed to stop the horse, but managed to say Dhinki a few
metres before the horse could plunge into the deep gorge. The horse trotted to a stop, right at the
edge of the precipice. One more step and the rider and his horse would plunge into the valley!
Breathing a sigh of relief, the devotee exclaimed,Oh God! Im safe.
There is a great truth hidden behind this simple story. Today, life has become so mechanical that
we dont think but have become auto-responders. We walk like robots, we talk like robots, and we
eat like robots and work like robots. Human beings have become machines. When is the last
time you chewed your food properly and ate? When did you take your own sweet time to savour
the finer taste of food? When was the last time you purified your body like a temple before
accepting food? When was the last time you smelt the fragrance of wild flowers? The last time
you saw the starry night or the crescent moon? You may have to press your thinking process to
remember when you last did these simple things!
You get up in the morning like a zombie; finish your morning duties, newspaper, cup of tea and
walk like a machine to Bandra station to catch the 7:30 a.m. local to Churchgate. At Churchgate
you are joined by millions of fellow Mumbaikars marching like Nazi soldiers to the cacophony of
traffic across the Cooperage ground to your pigeonhole, air-conditioned office at Flora Fountain.
Over endless cups of tea, you spend hours absorbing radiation from the colour monitor of your
personal computer. You gobble a few burgers and French fries for lunch, washing it down with a
few bottles of pesticide laden cola.
Your medicine cabinet is at arms length with a range of anti-ulcerants, antibiotics, antidepressants, sedatives and cholesterol lowering chemicals. You gulp these pills down, at the
slightest onset of symptoms, not forgetting to refill them by rushing to the neighbourhood chemist
shop.
Your Sundays are spent partying, entertaining guests and you spend more time building business
contacts over cigars and glasses of beer at the club rather than a brisk swim or a couple of hours
of tennis or badminton. Late nights are the rule rather than the exception and you need sedatives
to help you sleep. Where is the time for seeing the moon or the stars when you are busy watching
television? You rarely get to walk, as you prefer to use the accelerator to your ankles!
This is no fairy tale! A pilot research project conducted over the internet by tips4ceos.com on a
sample of 10,000 Mumbai based middle level managers of in the age group of 30 to 40 show
shocking results. 30% of these managers had mild hypertension. 20% of them were obese and
were undergoing weight-loss therapies. 10% of them had undergone angioplasties and 20%
suffered from insomnia. The managers were selected from a wide range of occupations and
included bank managers, executives of multinational corporations and managers from Public
Sector Units, call centres, five star hotels and software companies.

Stress levels were so high that almost 98% of respondents made at least one mistake while filling
up questionnaires and 90% wanted to receive more information on meditation and other stress
management measures. How can the Mechanical Man of this millennium be helped? The answer
is simple. By spiritual advancement through strict discipline. By improvement in his Spiritual
Quotient by unlocking the secrets of ancient Vedic, Mayan, Aztec, Zen and Sufi scriptures. By
activities which will recharge him with positive energies.
The mechanical man can be classified into three categories. Those who respond to music
therapy, colour therapy and exercise. After identifying the category they belong to, participants
should be put through a three-stage purification process. They must be taught to discipline the
quantity and quality of their food intake. They must also learn the correct techniques of breathing
so as to discipline the quality and quantity of oxygen reaching the lungs. They must perfect the art
of meditation to discipline the mind, the art of fasting to discipline the body and the art of praying
and chanting to discipline the soul. They must learn the art of sleeping and the art of dreaming as
practised by tribal communities in Dangs, Mexico, Orissa and Africa.
There was an U.S. Navy jet pilot in Vietnam. After 75 combat missions, his plane was destroyed
by a surface-to-air missile. The pilot ejected and parachuted into enemy hands. He was
captured and spent 6 years in a communist Vietnamese prison. He survived the ordeal and now
lectures on lessons learned from that experience. One day, when the pilot and his wife were
sitting in a restaurant, a man at another table came up and said, "You are a pilot! You flew jet
fighters in Vietnam from the aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk. You were shot down!" "How in the world
did you know that?" asked pilot. "I packed your parachute," the man replied. The pilot gasped in
surprise and gratitude. The man pumped his hand and said, "I guess it worked!" The pilot
assured him, "It sure did. If your chute hadn't worked, I wouldn't be here today." The pilot couldn't
sleep that night, thinking about that man. The pilot says, "I kept wondering what he might have
looked like in a Navy uniform: a white hat, a bib in the back, and bell-bottom trousers. The pilot
thought of the many hours the sailor had spent on a long wooden table in the bowels of the ship,
carefully weaving the shrouds and folding the silks of each chute, holding in his hands each time
the fate of someone he didn't know !
"Who's packing your parachute?" Everyone has someone who provides what he or she needs to
make it through the day. One needs his physical parachute, his mental parachute, and his
spiritual parachute. ZeNLP meditation can become your stress management parachute. Unless
modern day managers attend workshops on ZeNLP meditation and learn the language of stress
management and eco-friendly existence, they will remain no more than statistics on the patientlists of coronary bypass surgeries at five-star corporate hospitals.

5. The way to relax

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it
everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow...He loved the
tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by... The little boy had grown up and he no
longer played around the tree everyday. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked
sad. "Come and play with me," the tree asked the boy.
"I am no longer a kid; I don't play around trees anymore." The boy replied, "I want toys. I need
money to buy them." "Sorry, but I don't have money... but you can pick all my apples and sell
them. So, you will have money." The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree
and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad. One
day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. "Come and play with me" the tree said. "I don't
have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?"
"Sorry, but I don't have a house. However, you can chop off my branches to build your house.
The boy cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but
the boy never came back since then.
The tree was again lonely and sad. One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was
delighted. Come and play with me!" the tree said. "I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to
relax myself. Can you give me a boat?" "Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away
and be happy." So, the boy cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed
up for a long time. Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. "Sorry, my boy. But I
don't have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you... "
The tree said. "I don't have teeth to bite" the boy replied. "No more trunk for you to climb on". "I
am too old for that now" the boy said. "I really can't give you anything ... the only thing left is my
dying roots" the tree said with tears. "I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after
all these years." The boy replied. "Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest.
Come, sit down with me and rest." The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with
tears...
You may think the boy is cruel to the tree but that's exactly how most of us are treating our body,
mind and soul. The result? We are exposing our body and mind to tremendous amounts of stress.
There is a great lesson behind this simple story. A large majority of us are under stress. We are
not even aware that we are under stress. 70% of mild hypertensives continue to live their lives
thinking they are normal, until they go for a routine screening at the neighbourhood Blood
Pressure (BP) camp and discover that their blood pressure levels were 10-15% above normal. It
is the same with stress. A large majority of us dont take anti-stress measures seriously because
stress is what happens to others, not to me!
The first step in stress management begins with awareness. You have to become aware that your
body and mind are under unprecedented amount of stress. Once you are aware that you are
under stress, you can begin to take anti-stress measures.
From the CEO to the call centre executive to the journalist, everyone in industry is now-a-days
complaining of stress which has become more common than the common cold. Stress refers to a
persons general disturbed state of both body and mind affected by the immediate environment
like occupational hazards or alienation and requires a conscious effort to cope with it.

Considering the fact that stress is quite a common phenomenon among managers, there is a
boom in development of stress management techniques and programmes. Of late, meditation is
in vogue as a technique of stress management. ZeNLP meditation uses personal energy to give
relief to a person and it allows him to transmit positive energy which results in freshness of body
and mind.
Why are managers under stress? The answer is as simple as it is obvious! Long working hours of
endlessly staring into a computer screen which emits radiation. Longer conversations on the
cellular phone whose radiation damages brain cells and increases mental stress. Lack of sleep.
Irregular or wrong eating habits. Little or no outdoor exercise. Pressure of deadlines to meet and
targets to achieve. Staying away from family. Couple this with stays in apartments shared with
colleagues and work never stops. Such an environment is the ideal breeding ground for stress
and results in anxiety and panic attacks.
Here are some simple but effective stress management techniques:

Regular exercise is a powerful anti-stress activity. It is regarded as one of the safest and a
cheap way to reduce stress. Aerobics, stretching or massaging reduce stress as they release
endorphins.

ZeNLP trance meditation can be used as an anti-stress technique as it leads to relaxation of

mind and body. Researchers have shown that trance meditation is able to produce alpha
waves which are associated with a feeling of tranquility and lack of tension. ZeNLP meditation
involves concentrating on a bindu point on a picture. Such pictures can be downloaded as
jpeg files from tips4ceos.com and used as a screen saver. Whenever the screen saver is
activated you can concentrate on the bindu point and meditate for a few minutes without
disturbing your work.

Music can also go a long way in reducing stress. Listening to soothing music can help one in
coping with stress. You can download therapeutic music as mp3 files from tips4ceos.com and
listen to it as you work on your computer. Thus software professionals can learn to relax as
they continue to work.

Developing a hobby can be of great help to people under stress. Hobbies like gardening,
photography or philately can give a sense of satisfaction and provide relaxation to mind. Pets
can also help one in unwinding after a hectic day.

Most psychologists maintain that Indian companies should conduct stress management
workshops for employees to improve their efficiency and effectiveness to cope with work related
stress. Stress management techniques are basically about evolving a coping mechanism. The
coping mechanism should give emphasis on relaxation, leisure and tranquilness.
In fact, managers should be encouraged to practice ZeNLP meditation early in their career, which
would enable them to cope with stress in their jobs. Yogic exercises can also help to a great
extent in regaining both physical and mental health. Regular practice of yoga controls the senses
of the human being and helps in relaxation.

9. Creating harmony in ZeNLP

Having spent the last nine years conducting ZeNLP workshops from Bharuch to Siliguri and from
Leh to Pallakad, we have collected and analysed more than 5000 stress level questionnaires. We
have closely worked with hundreds of managers from diverse corporations, in every sector of
industry, in India and abroad. Over the years, we have managed to collect and study a plethora of
seemingly unrelated information related to stress and how organizations and individuals cope
with stress. The results of our research are summarized here. Managers who are good team
players and who have worked in harmony with their colleagues, bosses and subordinates show
lower stress level scores. This is also reflected in tribal societies where each tribal village forms
cohesive teams. Wherever team spirit is higher, stress levels are lower. Wherever community
feeling is strong, stress levels are less. The feeling of belongingness stimulates the pineal gland,
resulting in lowered stress levels for all members of the team. Harmony reduces stress and the
objective of ZeNLP stress management workshops is to increase the harmony between
participants from different departments of the same organisation, who in course of their routine
work, never see or meet each other. Various group exercises like Desert Survival, Cave Rescue
and Broken Squares increase the bonding between participants, leading to a sense of
belongingness and harmony, resulting in workshops full of laughter, lightness and joy. Now, let us
examine some of the finest examples of effective team-work and ask yourself, do they experience
stress?
One of the best examples of team-work can be seen in group synchronised swimming. As you
watch the teams of swimmers execute symmetrical exercises in the water they appear like parts
of one gigantic whole. They resemble fingers moving elegantly over piano keys, producing
soothing music. The individual disappears and what we see is performance of the team. I
becomes We and as V always comes before I in VICTORY, the teams where individual swimmers
become cogs in the wheel emerge victorious!
One of the most memorable examples of team work is seen during the Ramnavami festivities at
Mumbai. A human pyramid is formed by scores of volunteers and the person at the top of the
pyramid breaks the ceremonial pot hung at the summit. Each volunteer becomes an invisible rung
in the ladder and once this human ladder is ready, any of the team members can reach the goal
by climbing over his colleagues!
The beauty of team-work is experienced during Onam, when one sees scores of rowers moving
in synchronicity during the snake-boat races in Kerala. These boats move at high speeds, on the
thrust provided by teams of rowers who co-ordinate their movements, so as to obtain maximum
results from minimum effort. The team synergy is such that boats continue to move for a few
kilometers after the winning line has been crossed!
One of the most simple but effective metaphors symbolizing team work, synergy, co-ordination
and bonding is demonstrated in the traditional dances of most primitive tribes. A perfect example
of this synergy is demonstrated in the group dance of Kohl tribals from interior Orissa. Scores of
men and women dressed in identical, colourful traditional costumes and headgear, hold each
other firmly by the waist, imparting a sense of community feeling, security and unity. They move in
a singular circular motion, each moving on the thrust provided by the other. The rhythmic drum
beats and shrill songs transport the dancers into another world. Watching this group dance can
put viewers into a trance too!
Trapeze artists at the circus are also embodiments of team synergy, co-ordination and
interdependence. The life of one trapeze artist is in the hands of his mates, as they swing, vault,
and somersault hundreds of feet above the ground, under the watchful eyes of spectators, where
one small mistake from one of the members of the team, could mean humiliation, injury or death.
It is important to note that most trapeze artists at Indian circuses hail from Telicherry in Kerala.

Thus, common cultural, linguistic, social and ethnic similarities improve telepathic communication,
bonds, rapport, synergy and trust, enabling the team to work as a seamless whole.
Para-jumping is another sport where team skills are brought to the fore. As team members hurtle
towards the earth after jumping from the aircraft, they co-ordinate their movements to form human
chains and patterns, which are seen by spectators on the ground. Every split second of this free
fall is fraught with risk and the lives of each member depend on his mates. The close bonds
shared by the team translate into synergies and the whole exercise becomes effortless for the
team. The whole is much more than sum of the parts, especially when individuals come together
to form teams and work towards a common goal.
Formation flying is another metaphor demonstrating what perfect team work can achieve. Flying
at supersonic speeds each aircraft seem to be moving as if the whole formation is one single
giant airship. For a few moments, we forget that the formation flying is nothing but a group of
individual aircrafts performing the same maneuvers at the same time. Imagine the practice, the
co-ordination, the bonding between the pilots, the technicians, and the ground staff that goes
behind every demonstration of formation flying!
The Mexican wave seen at football stadiums, where each spectator, sits down and gets up in
synchronisation with his fellow spectators, is a simple demonstration of how one can contribute to
a team goal by disciplining individual actions. The formation of flags of different countries by
spectators holding coloured papers, during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, also
demonstrates how careful planning, practice and synchronised team-work can bring about events
that resemble miracles.
Linux, the open source operating system which runs a majority of web and mail servers, inspite of
competition from giant multinationals is an example how creative energies of thousands of
individual software developers can be channelised in a chaotic way, through a common link
(internet) that binds millions of computers to each other. Each individual programmer contributed
his bit to the success of Linux, but as Linux is open source code software, all improvements in the
code were shared for the collective good. A small alternative to UNIX by Linus Torvalds has
become a storm, which has forced monopolies like Microsoft to change their marketing strategy
and forced IBM to include Linux as the default operating system with their servers rather than
bundle their computers with proprietary software! Open Office which is the open source
alternative to Microsoft Office is threatening Microsoft more than any of their regular competitors.
This demonstrates the advantages of working as a cohesive unit.
Thus, there is no alternative to effective team formation, team-building and synergy as
organizations are groups of individuals who have come together to achieve their personal goals
and organizational goals. Team spirit, motivation and synergy can be created by simulating real
life experiences in classrooms. Strong teams can be trained to perform better and work with one
another, provide thrusts to one another, by activities which promote trust, bonding and create a
sense of community and a sense of belongingness among members of the team. One of the most
practical ways of building teams in a classroom setting is the effective use of tribal rituals,
meditations, music and dances, which have helped the most primitive tribes, survive the most
inhospitable terrain, natural calamities, threats from wild predators and urban animals over
centuries of existence.
The very fact that these rituals and dances continue to exist to this very day in the same form
over the centuries indicates that nature wanted these techniques of bonding and community to
continue existing so as to play an important role in the evolution of these tribes. Such tribal
dances, rituals and meditations are recorded, researched, studied in minute detail and brought to
corporate boardrooms to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of teams through ZeNLP based
workshops based on ancient wisdom.

10. Veganism in ZeNLP

Among the mammalian species, three animals are feared by carnivores. Lions, tigers, and
panthers and leopards know the unwritten law of the jungle; don't mess with elephants, rhinos
and gorillas. These maned, stripped or spotted kings of the jungle perilously avoid even the cubs
of these three vegetarian species. Tigers and lions are known to hunt foxes, jackals, hyenas or
even wild dogs but never take on elephants, gorillas or rhinos in one to one combats as they have
seen their kind being badly mauled in encounters with these powerful rivals. There is a common
link that binds elephants, gorillas and rhinos and this link is the bond of pure vegetarianism.
These three species totally subsist on a diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, grass, bamboo
leaves and plants.
But in terms of size, flexibility, power and ferociousness they are second to none. So much so
that ivory commands a significant premium to tiger-claws in the international market. Poachers
are more scared to shoot a wild elephant than a tiger! The tiger population is nearly decreasing,
whereas the elephant population is showing a slow yet steady increase in numbers.
The more important fact about these three animals is that they do not consume milk from other
species. An elephant cub will never drink cow or buffalo milk naturally. Similarly, cubs of rhinos
and gorillas too live entirely on their own mother's milk. In doing so, they follow nature's unwritten
rule, Mother's milk is the only milk that suits babies. The main reason for this rule is the fact that
the digestive system of the cub is designed for milk of his own species. Whenever we drink milk
from another species, we go against nature. The human being too is a rational mammal and
consumption of cow milk or buffalo milk is against natural laws which prohibit inter species milk
consumption.
Imagine a situation where a newly born calf approaches a lady who has just given birth and
requests her to breast feed him. The natural reaction of the lady would be to shoo the calf away
to his own mother (the cow) as the calf was designed to digest cow's milk. A new born calf weighs
at least ten to twenty times a newly born baby. The calf's nutritional requirements, amount of
nutrition needed and enzymes needed to break down the nutrients present in his mothers milk
are far different from the requirements of a human new born. Cow's milk contains a protein called
casein which needs to be broken down by the digestive system into amino acids for facilitation of
absorption by the blood stream. Caseinase is the enzyme responsible for this process. However,
the human digestive system lacks the natural ability to produce caseinase. Thus, most of the
casein present in milk remains undigested and is excreted as waste. More importantly, the
consumption of milk puts an enormous amount of unnecessary stress on the human digestive
tract. Moreover, the intestinal tracts of cows are entirely different from humans, as humans are
bipedal while cows are four -legged. Thus, consumption of milk chokes up the intestinal tract in
humans!
The most important argument against milk consumption comes from the low absorption levels of
calcium. As most of the calcium present in the milk is attached to casein and other proteins
through globule type attachments, the calcium absorption from cow or buffalo milk among
humans is negligible. The calcium absorbed by drinking one litre of milk can be obtained by
eating 100 grams of boiled spinach! Scientific studies conducted on women from Denmark and
U.S.A show revealing results. U.S.A and Denmark are two countries where consumption of milk
and dairy products is the highest. It is no coincidence, that women in Denmark and U.S.A also
have the highest incidence of osteoporosis.
Contrast this with other research studies conducted in Orissa. This research shows that tribal
women in the forests of Similipal in interior Orissa have the lowest incidence of osteoporosis in
the world. Coincidently, these women also have the lowest consumption of dairy milk due to their
existence in dense forests where their diet is mostly vegan (diet which is vegetarian and which
does not contain any milk or milk products).

These research studies prove that the balanced vegan diet is an ideal source of nourishment for
humans and other herbivorous mammals. Many nutritionists argue that strict vegans have vitamin
deficiencies, micronutrient deficiencies and protein deficiency syndromes. However I would like to
question these experts. Have you ever seen an elephant with protein deficiency? The human
body contains an infinite intelligence and is perfectly capable of synthesizing all vitamins and
enzymes needed for the normal functioning of the body. However, these so called nutritionists will
not tell you that vegans have the lowest levels of cholesterol, lipids and toxins in their blood. Life
expectancy of vegans is also considerably higher than both non-vegetarians and even
vegetarians.
Every year, almost a million Americans are converting to veganism! These include teenagers,
housewives and the elderly. Being vegan in America is considered chic. Vegans have gained
snob value. There is a diet revolution in progress in the U.S.A. The reason for this is that
increasing number of Americans have realized the fact that the teeth of human beings are
designed more like a cow and less like a tiger. Human beings are designed to be vegetarian. A
vegetarian diet is ideal for the body mind and spirit. We have studied diet patterns of the
inhabitants of regions where the average age is around seventy. Incidence of cancer, gout,
osteoporosis and other modern ailments are almost non-existent. The diet of these populations is
devoid of animal products. Thus, to remain stress free, one should adopt a simple vegetarian diet,
eat in moderation and avoid intoxicants.
After nine years of research we have developed a zero stress vegan diet which energises the
body. This ZeNLP diet is served during our workshops. It helps participants to remain alert
throughout the long sessions and absorb the proceedings without dozing or feeling sleepy.

11. Elemental therapy to reduce stress

A Kohl tribal in Orissa had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried
across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always
delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the masters house,
the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the water bearer
delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his masters house. Of course, the perfect pot
was proud of its accomplishments; perfect to the end it was made.
But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection and was miserable that it was
able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived
to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the Kohl one day by saying, "I am ashamed of myself and want to
apologise to you."
"Why?" asked the Kohl, "What are you ashamed of?"
"I have been able, for the past two years, to deliver half my load because this crack on my side
causes water to leak out all the way back to your masters house. Because of my flaws, you have
to do all of this work, and you dont get full value from your efforts," the pot said.
The Kohl felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to my
masters house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path." Indeed, as they went
up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the
side of the path, and this cheered it a little. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had
leaked out half its load and so it apologised for its failure once again.
The tribal said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path,
but not on the other pots side? Thats because I have always known about your flaw, and I took
advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk
back from the stream, you have watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these
beautiful flowers to decorate my masters table. Without you being just the way you are, he would
not have this beauty to grace his house."
There is a deep philosophical lesson to be learnt from this simple story. Each one of us has our
flaws. Each one of us is a cracked pot. It is the ability to convert obstacles into opportunities,
which improves the quality of our lives and helps us to maintain a sense of calm, serenity and
tranquillity under the most stressful conditions. After analysing your unconscious mental map,
ZeNLP classifies you as a visual or an auditory or kinesthetic.
This information gives us vital clues about which elemental therapy will work for you. ZeNLP
believes that your energy body or astral body is a combination of the basic elemental energy.
These primordial elements are fire, water and earth. However, fire is the dominant element
among visuals, water is the dominant element among auditories and earth is the dominant
element in kinesthetics.
Each element has its own unique characteristics, colour and energy aura. Fire is red and warm.
Water is blue and cool. Earth is green and pleasant. Each element has a different kind of sound.
The sound of the waves on the sea-shore is the sound of water. The sound of the blizzard on the
mountainside is the sound of earth. The sound of the desert wind on a hot summer afternoon is
the sound of fire. Tribal societies are aware of the subtle differences in the language of the
elements and can play three different kinds of tribal music. We have recorded these different
kinds of music during our visits to tribal settlements and these tapes and CD-ROMs are given to
participants at our ZeNLP based workshops. Our tribal music is classified into fire, water and
earth. This music puts listeners into a mild trance and helps you to experience tranquilness and

serenity. However, visuals can manage stress better by relaxing to the soothing strains of tribal
fire, auditories to the healing effect of tribal water and kinesthetics to the hypnotic notes of tribal
earth music. This music is available in both audio cassettes and compact discs. One can
experience the power to relax while listening to these tribal trance forming music tapes.
Individuals can also be categorised as per their stress level quotient. Some are under very little
stress, some under moderate stress, but most are under high levels of stress. The important point
here is that stress can be managed without the use of allopathic, ayurvedic, homeopathic or
herbal medicines. We have studied the healing techniques of primitive tribes and have evolved
some effective de-stressing techniques.
Fire therapy:
This is particularly effective for visuals. Wake up before sunrise. Take a cold water bath
irrespective of season. Do not use soap or shampoo. Just pour a few mugs of cold water over
your body. Dry yourself with a rough towel. Wear loose clothing and go to your terrace or to the

Instead of mantras or tribal chants, psalms from the Bible, kalmas from the Koran, verses from
the zend avestha, Jain and Buddhist religious texts are given to participants from these religious
backgrounds. Atheists can chant the name of Charles Darwin. Followers from religions other than
the above can chant from their own religious texts.
The greatest advantage of these ZeNLP visualization techniques is that these can also be done
mentally whenever you find time. It may be while brushing your teeth, performing your ablutions

or while traveling. No external gadgets are required. However, it is important to keep in direct
touch with the elemental energies at least once a week. This charging will empower you to be
stress free for the following week. However, repeated charging and practice are required so that
you are able to stimulate the pineal gland at will. If you are able to do that, you have discovered
the power to manage stress successfully. Chanting requires expert guidance, to ensure the
correct pronunciation that is needed to create the right vibrations to benefit from the power of
mantras. This expert guidance is provided to participants who attend our ZeNLP based stress
management workshops.
