Valves & fittings

All the valves, expansion joints, required for complete system shall be provided.
The design of the same shall be most appropriate for the specified duty. Valves of
size DN150 and above in high-pressure line shall have by- pass valves. - Noted

The Main steam stop valve and its by-pass and the startup vent valves shall be
provided with electric motor actuation. All the motorized valves shall be provided
with manual operation facility also. The valves located in vulnerable position
shall be suitably considered for assisted closing with fail safe arrangement.Handwheel is provided in the motorized valves.

All control valves shall be provided with up and down stream isolators and bypass valves. The control valves shall be designed for minimum pressure drop
across the valve.- Not Applicable

All valves in high-pressure line shall have butt weld connections and with socket
welds ends for valves of below 50 mm.- We comply.

In case of screwed end valves for low pressure and smaller size, the same shall
have taper connections for leak proofness.- Noted

Main steam valves: Forged steel body (ASTM A 182 Gr.22) and trim (ASTM A
182 Gr. F6a, cl2) for size below 50 NB, cast alloy steel body (ASTM A 217 EC1)
and forged trim and seat ring (ASTMA 182 Gr. F6a, cl2) for 50 NB and above.
We have offered WC9 body and F22+ ST6 trim

FO line valves: cast steel body, SS trim flanged end Plug valves shall be used for
isolation purpose. Not applicable

Air line valves: cast iron body, SS trim, flanged end gate valves shall be used for
isolation purpose.-Not applicable

Specifications for gas line valves, gear driven double disc gate valve, Pressure
Class PN2.5, Body & Bonnet (IS 2062, Grade-B-1992), Disc (CS, ASTM A 216
Gr WCB), Shaft, Seat rings & back seat (AISI410) .-Not applicable

Specifications for valves to be used for water, air & Nitrogen service shall be as
