The traffic rules in the Philippines are bared entirely on the general rules use and conduct which
also include the general prohibitions and restrictions.
Police personnel are responsible in the implementation of traffic rules and regulations. The traffic
and transportation section are responsible for all engineering aspect relating to the movement of
pedestrians and the vehicles in the public roads. It is also responsible in the road system by means of
traffic regulation orders and devias to control road users in order to obtain the best use of the existing
roads and system throughout the council are for the benefit of the whole community. These are the
tremendous reed of the traffic management that have to be addressed so that the following problems to be
answered.

Specifically, the study ought to answer the following questions

The rule hypothesis is to be tested in the study is:
There is no significant difference between the traffic rules and regulations implemented by Passi City in
terms of:
a) Vehicular incident
b) Not follow the traffic sign, entrance and exit
c) Illegal use of Plate number and stickers

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This study can provide additional information about the traffic rules and regulations implemented
by Passi City. Furthermore, result of the study will be of great help to some concerned agencies and
individuals.
Definition of Terms
For better understanding of the readers / researchers the following definitions were drawn to
provide common frame of reference.
Driver it is refers to the person a vehicle or vehichles other names used were in this study the drivers
refer to the respondents
Motor vehicle it is a self propelled wheeled conveyance, such as a car or truck that does not run or
rails.
Negligence it means failure to exercise extra care in observing the law, rules so required by the
authorities for the safety nets of the drivers, the passengers and by the standards specifically, it refers to
the traffic violation committed by the drivers at Passi City.

Vehicles it refers to the different means of transportation vehicles. Used by the people in the
municipalities of Passi City. The Vehicles maybe private government owned or for public utility.
