Evolution vs. God
The subject of Evolution vs God was chosen, because as such a hot debate topic in the
culture today, it seemed as a very interesting thing to inquire about and to do research on. The
main thing I had questions about was how we came to be originally got here. Did we evolve as
some atheists tell us, or did God create us like the Bible says?
It is agitating when someone or a textbook says something, and doesnt explain why or
how. Both sides of the argument present a good case and they are both represented best when
only scientific laws are presented, so that there is no argument when it comes to important
sections of this topic.With scientific laws like biogenesis and thermodynamics, some theory isnt
very scientific Although Evolution is commonly accepted as truth, there are a lot of laws and
evidence that may suggest that God and young universe are actually probable. But there has to be
a There are many good reasons why so many people accept evolution as fact ; even Christians
accept some aspects of the theory of evolution. So if we look at the age of the earth itself,
atheists usually estimate it to be around 4.6 billion years old. The Bible says that the earth is
around 6-7000 years old. To be fair and non-biased in evaluating which source makes more
sense, one must look at both science and scientific laws must be taken into consideration, and
historical information regarding the fossil record and DNA.

The first and second laws of thermodynamics are a good place to start when evaluating
the two proposed sides; we also must remember that these are laws, not theory. The first one
states energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change forms. The second states that
everything is deteriorating, increasing in randomness and decreasing in order. The first law is
applies to the big bang, and how it was an exception, if it does exist. A couple of examples of the
second law are how tThe moon is getting further away from earth every year, global warming,
and even more simple things like erosion, or how there are more and more intense natural
disasters every year. The first law is a simple demonstration of how energy works. It begs the
question of how did matter get here if it wasnt created? Quite simply, it could not have
scientifically gotten here without the assistance of a supernatural being. The is second cientific
law law relates to the age of the earth. With everything constantly wearing down, looking back
on the past and seeing decay rates shows that the earth seems to be very young.clearly raises
some questions about the Evolutionary theory. The Second law actually makes sense when
looking at what the Bible says, because in the beginning, God made everything perfect, then
when man sinned, the world went into a state of decay. This shows that the theory evolution is
pretty off when it comes to the age of the universe and of the earth. doesnt however disprove the
evolutionary model; it just means that it may need some revising, because it says that things are
increasing in order and evolving when a scientific law states the opposite.
The next scientific law that needs to be discussed is the law of biogenesis. The law of
biogenesis basically says that life begets life. From all observable evidence, we have never
seen anything that is not alive produce something that is alive. It shows that, even with an
infinite amount of time and even with the right chemicals, an explosion could have never created
a living organism. Only a living, all powerful creator could make a living organism.

The next thing to look at is history and the fossil record. When observing the fossil
record, there is no evidence for Darwinian evolution, only slight variations between species. Fish
stay fish and birds stay birds. Animals stay within their kinds. The next thing evaluated was
acquired vs. genetic traits. This showed the difference between the two, and pointed out very
obvious flaws in the evolutionary model, once again pointing to an all-powerful creator.
The last thing looked at was possible contradictions in the bible, specifically the historical
accounts of Noah and Adam and Eve; and how there is actually scientific evidence to support the
two accounts.
