3. DIRECTIONS TO THE ACKLAND ART MUSEUM

The red line in the map indicates the path to the Ackland Museum from Dey Hall
(Romance Languages Department). You turn left from the main entrance in Dey
Hall and follow straight to East Cameron Street. You will pass the US flag on your
right and South Building. Cross the street, turn left until you reach South
Colombia Street. Turn right and walk towards Franklin Street. The Ackland
Museum will be to your right once you pass Hanes Art Center. If you reach
Franklin Street you have gone too far. Also a point of reference is the restaurant
Top of the Hill, which is to the left of the museum.
The Ackland is located on Columbia Street between the restaurant Top of the Hill
and Hanes Art Center. This map may work but most of you have different classes
and the point of reference will be different for everyone.
