SoBrahmisseeingtheSupremePersonalityofGodheadsurroundedbyHisdevotees.And
whatistheexchangewithdifferentdevoteesandtheLord?Thedevoteesareservingwithall
theirloveanddedication.AndtheLordisacceptingtheservicewithasmile,abeautifulsmile.
AndHeisgivingthemtheperfectassurance.Dontworry.Dontworry,noanxiety,thatisthe
meaning of Vaikhunta. That is the benefit, that is the reward of rendering devotional service.
WesurrendertotheLordandtheLordgivesustheassurance:Dontworry!Andasaresult
ofthat,alltheanxietydisappears.Thatisthespiritualsituation.
InBhagavadGitaalsoKapointsoutthattherearetwotypesoflivingentities:kara,fallible
andinfallible.Dvv imau puruau loke kara ckara eva ca kara sarvi bhtni ka
sthokaraucyate.Dvvimaupuruauloke.Therearetwotypesoflivingentities,thereare
fallible and infallible. All living entities in the material nature are fallible. They are fallen. But
those who are in the spiritual nature, they are infallible. Their consciousness is projected
towardsKaandKaisgivingthemallprotection.
Itisunfortunatethatwehavefallenintothismaterialnature.Whywehavefallen,howwehave
fallen, there are various ways, it has been described. [Unclear] Prabhupda said there is no
needofdwellingonhowwefellfromthespiritualsky.Wewillneverbeabletounderstandit
because the cause of our fall down is in the spiritual context. Therefore from a material
perspectivewewillneverbeabletounderstandhowwefellintothismaterialnature.
But the reality is that we have fallen. Now let us consider how to go back there. How to get
back?Thatshouldbeourconcern.Andthewaytogetoutofhereisdevotionalservice.We
havefallenherebecausewestoppedtoserveKa.IfweserveKawewillbeabletoget
upthere.Somehoworotherwestoppedtoserveandtheresultiswearefallen.

Ka,thenMy,whoisjustnexttoKa,grabsHim.Sothisisourcondition:Somehowor
otherwelookedawayfromKa.LookedawayfromKa,meansthatsomehoworother
weturnedourconsciousnessawayfromKa.
So that is how we have fallen into this material nature, we became entangled by My.
Prabhupdasaidthatourconditionissomethinglikeafishoutofwater.Originallywearefrom
thespiritualworldbutwehavefallenintothismaterialnature.Justasafishnaturallydwells,
residesinwater.Whenyoutakeafishoutofthewater,whatwillhappentothefish?Wontit
be writhing in pain? But we are not doing that. We are not actually feeling this pain. Why?
BecauseMyhasgivenusthisbody.Andbecauseofthisbodywearethinkingwearefine.It
isawonderfulhere.

[Unclear]afishoutofwater.Thefishisoutofwaterandonthelandthefishhasbeengivenan
apparatus with which the fish can breathe. So when the fish can breathe and the fish can
surviveonthelandthenforthefishthingsareokay.ThenMysays:Youshouldgetahouse,
a beautiful house. The fish is trying to get a house, just trying to really get it. And he is so
happydoingthis.Sothefishstrugglestogetthehouseandhegetsit.Thefishislivingina
beautifulhousenow.Butthenwhenhehasthishouse,whatisthebigdeal?Nowheneedsa
wife.SoMysays:Hereissuchabeautifulgirl.Thenhegetsagirlafteralotofendeavor.
Thenstillheisnothappy.ThenMysays:Justgetsomemoney,thenyoucanenjoywith
me.Andhetriestogetmoney.AndinthiswayMykeepsonmisleadinghim.Thefishneeds
togetbacktothewater.Whateverthefishgetsontheland,thefishwillnotgethappy.Onthe
land whatever the fish gets, the fish will not be happy because the fish does not feel happy.
Becausethefishbelongsinthewater.SothatiswhatMyisdoingtous.AndMysays:
Come,youwillbeenjoying.[Unclear]BecomeKa.[Unclear]Thiswholeworldisforyour
enjoyment.
ButthenaVaishnavacomes.Andhetellshimabouttheactualsituation.Andthennotonlythe
Vaishnava tells us about our actual identity but the Vaishnava shows us the way how to go
back there. What is the bottom line of the teaching of the Vaishnava? Dont try to enjoy
throughthissensualbody.TherealwaytoenjoyisbyrenderingdevotionalservicetoKa.
TherealsourceofenjoymentisyourloveforLordKa.Andthewaytoexpressyourlovefor
KaisthroughyourservicetoKa.AndthenHeteachesushowtobecomeengagedin
the loving devotional service to Ka. And as we become engaged in the loving devotional
servicewebegintoexperiencethejoylikewesawbefore,atthebeginningoftheclass.We
loveKa,Kalovesus.Thatkindofrelationship[Unclear].Loveisnotjustsomewords,
sentimentalexpression:IloveyouButtherealloveisexpressedthroughaction.Actionis
ourconstitutionalposition.Thisbodyismeanttoact.WiththisbodyweneedtoserveKa.
Wehaveanotherbody,subtlebody,mind.WiththemindwethinkaboutKaandwiththe
wordswespeakaboutKa.AndwiththisfacilitytospeakweglorifyKa.kya,manaand
vkya.Body,mindandspeech,whentheyareengagedfullyinservingKa,doingthingsfor
Ka, thinking about Ka and glorifying Ka then only we become situated in our loving
relationship with Ka. And that is what rmadBhgavatam is teaching us. That is what a
Vaishnavacomestoteachus.AndthatiswhatMaitreyaiistellingVidura.Thankyou.
