Protection From Evil

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and
his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is
flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go
well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and
how much I love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.
In Jesus name, Amen

your way.


Psalm 91:11, He gives His angels charge over you to keep you in all
your ways.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem just like the prophets had said it would
happen. The good news was told from village to village about the
baby and the angels who had spoken to the shepherds on the night of
Jesus birth. Wisemen had travelled for a long way to find baby Jesus,
the One who promised by God to deliver His people. The wisemen
had followed a star that led them to the town of Bethlehem, but
no one in town seemed to know where the child was. All this was
part of Gods plan to protect Jesus from King Herod, the jealous and
fearful king who ruled in Jerusalem. When he heard that there were
wealthy travelers looking for a baby king, he invited them to his castle
to question them and find out for himself where the baby was. He
pretended that he wanted to find the baby king to worship him, but
he wanted to kill baby Jesus.
God knew all this would happen so He already had a plan to
protect His Son and keep Him safe. When the wisemen found Baby
Jesus they worshipped Him and gave Him gifts. They had been told
by Herod to come back and tell him where he could find the baby,
but the angel of the Lord warned them in a dream not to tell Herod
where the Baby was. Later, Joseph was also warned by the angel of
the Lord to get Mary and the baby and escape from Bethlehem into
Egypt. Herod waited and waited for the wisemen to return, but they
never showed. This made Herod angry and he ordered that every
baby boy born in Bethlehem two years or younger was to be killed.
God was not surprised by Herods plans. He knew exactly what
Herod wanted to do to Baby Jesus. Jesus was safe because God had
commanded His angels to guard and protect His Child. As a child of
God you have the same protection and angelic guards that Jesus had.
God will take care of you.
