EDITION 2
Lifesong-Ministere des
Bras Ouverts, Haiti

It has been 6 1/2 months since we first arrived here in Haiti. We

anticipate a break to come home for Christmas and reconnect with
friends and family. We will be in California December 19 December 30. It has been a trying set of months with a heated
Presidential Election. In August Haiti started with somewhere
around 175 candidates. Now the people will pick between 2 people
on December 27. Many Manifestations arise during this election
season. Simply a way for people to voice their opinion and for
candidates to campaign, but makes for many days of unrest
EXCITING NEWS at MBO Haiti!!
God has placed us in front of an amazing organization Lifesong for
Orphans. We have been in conversation as far back as August, and
really began to seek Gods direction in all that has come before us.
We have spent time in conversation and prayer and have
determined that this is Gods direction for Ministere des Bras
Ouverts. We will still be Ministere des bras Ouverts here in Haiti,

and will maintain the same ministries that God has originally set
before us. The family sponsorship and Job creation for those
families on the property and in the ministry, The Feeding program,
Kids club, Homes for Haiti ministry, clean water, livestock and
agriculture. We are still raising money to support these programs.
Lifesong is in the process of raising money to build a High School
that will provide living for orphaned children or children from
vulnerable families. This will be on the MBO property along with
a guesthouse, and a Vocational school. We are excited about this
Journey together to ultimately come as one and build it for Gods
Kingdom. Current projects include building and fixing the road.
and 1/4 of the fence is done and complete. Along with running the
ministry programs we have been placed in roles to serve with
Lifesong - Ministere des Bras Ouverts, Haiti (or Lifesong - open
arms ministry) Mike will serve as Director of Operations and Amy
will serve as Guest relations and Director of Short Term Mission
teams. We are still in need to support the ministry as well as the
need to support ourselves to serve here and live in Haiti full time.

Thank you for your continued support and Prayers, Pray you have
a blessed Christmas. Celebrate this season the birth of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.
Prayer requests:
With the new partnership many Jobs for the Haitian people have
been made available, such a great blessing. Please pray for the
hiring process, for God leading us and to continue to disciple all
that come to Lifesong - MBO Bercy ,Haiti
For the Christmas break and our time with family and friends.
May this be a time to reconnect and decompress.
Continued relationships with the Haitian people and showing and
sharing who God is. For them to trust in Him with ALL their
heart.
I also serve at a English speaking Christian school. Taylor and
Zach continue with their education here. About 90% of the
students are lost. Please pray for a great change for these students

to be transformed in the Lord , to see Him clearly. About 10% are

Missionary families children, but the remaining are kids from the
10% of the wealthiest families in Haiti. They are caught up in the
way of our world. The United States, American Dream. This is one
of the toughest ministries God has placed before me. Two verses
come to mind.
Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may
discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and
perfect.
Philippians 3:13-14- Brothers, I do not consider that I have made
it my own, But one thing I do : forgetting what lies behind and
straining forward to what lies ahead. I press on toward the goal for
the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Many blessings to you all this new and up coming year. More
updates too come. Pray for guidance in the new partnership with
God steering the way.
