COLLECTION OF PRIMARY DATA

There are several methods of collecting primary data particularly in

surveys a well structured questionnaire and a schedule was used for the present
study by the researcher.

QUESTIONNAIRE
Using structured questionnaire method, which contains close-ended
questions, collected the primary data with respect the problem chosen. The
questions have some options, from which the respondents have to choose a
choice. As the answers lie within a specified range they are called close-ended
questions.

Open-ended questions are those questions where no choices are given to

respondents and respondents are free to express their choice or answer.

SAMPLING PROCEDURE:

Sampling may be defined as the selection of an aggregate or totally on

the basis of which a judgment of reference about the aggregate of totally is
made.

The importance of sampling is that, it allowed in concentrating our

attention upon a relatively smaller number of people and hence to devote more
energy to ensure that the information collected from them is accurate, less time
consuming, less cost and more reliable information. Sampling is simply the
process of learning about the entire population on the basis of sampling drawn
from it, studied and the conclusion was made.
The process of sampling involves three steps.
1. Selecting the sample
2. Collecting the information
3. Making the inferences of the population.
The following sampling method was used for the study.

SAMPLING
A non-probability convenience sampling method was used in the study for
data collection.

SAMPLE SIZE
The sample was taken from the universe on random sampling basis in
Hyderabad. The sample size designed for this project is 100 keeping in mind the
paucity of time and also the customer base of the organization in the research
area.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

The instrument used for the research is a Well Structured questionnaire.

Questionnaire is administered on the sample respondents which consists of 17
questions.

STATISTICAL TOOLS USED FOR THE STUDY

Simple percentage analysis has been used to analyze the data, bar and pie
charts have been used to represent the data in the graphical form.

Simple percentage = No. of respondents / Total no. of respondents X

100
Weighted average method = Weighted mean/Total no. of respondents

DATA INTERPRETATION

To analyze and interpret the data pie, bar diagrams by using excel spread
sheet has been used in the research.

LIMITATIONS

Time has been a major constraint throughout the study as it has been only
for duration of one month.
