GUIDELINES FOR ASSIGNMENTS

1 Assignments constitute an important component of this course

evaluation. Hence, submission of assignments is compulsory. The
marks that you get in your assignments will be counted in your
overall result.
2 Group assignment carry 20% weightage, therefore, you are advised
to take your assignments seriously. Presentation which carry 10%
weightage will be done by each group members on the subtopic that
you have worked on for the group assignment.
3 Marks will be based on the overall assignment report (5%) and your
specific writings on the subtopic (15%) and your individual
presentation (10%).
4 Only 4-5 members are allowed for each assignment group.
5 The main Objectives of the assignment are:

To have further understanding of the concepts and issues

covered in the course.
To have an in-depth analysis and synthesis on the subject.
To help you to relate the concepts and perspectives to the real
life situation and challenges.

Selection and content of Assignment

Group assignment topics must be chosen from the list provided.

Read the selected proposed assignments title carefully and follow the
guidelines given.

The content of the assignment should cover the importance of topic

and its sub-sections discussed.

It should also examine the various facets and components with

specific details and evidences/examples.

The content of the assignment should reflect your vast readings in the
discussions of given theme in this course.

You should analyze and synthesize various facets on the topic and
come out with conclusions and suggestions to solve the issues
discussed.

Ultimately, writing the assignments should help you to end up with an

in-depth understanding of the course and also enhance your
capabilities to analyze the issues related to issues on professional
ethics.

Specifications for writing the assignment

The group assignment should approximately of around 25-30 pages;

The list of references should be clearly quoted at the end of the

assignment.

Your field experience and observations would add value to your

assignment. Thus, combining conceptual aspects of the course with
practical and field reflection will ensure good outcome.

Make sure that it is presented in logical and has clear connection

between paragraphs.

Use only A 4 size paper for writing your assignments. Avoid using
very thin paper.

Use APA formatting as outlined in the APA Manual throughout your

assignment.

An assignment has to be submitted in type-written form.

Do not copying. If copying is noticed, the assignment will be rejected.

For your own record retain a copy of acknowledgement for

assignments and project report which you submit. This will help you to
represent your case to the relevant authorities in case any problem
arises.

The assignments should be completed in all respects.

Group assignment should be submitted before or immediately after

presentation.
