B. Qualifications for application: Applicants must meet the following qualifications and requirements of each school
or graduate institute.
申請資格：申請人必須符合下列二項規定以及各系所之入學標準。
1. Status eligibility: Applicants and their parents are neither Republic of China (Taiwan) citizens nor overseas
Chinese, or have given up Republic of China (Taiwan) citizenship for at least 8 years.
身分規定：申請人及其父母需無中華民國國籍且不具台灣僑生身分，原具中華民國國籍者，自內政部許
可喪失中華民國國籍之日起八年內，不得申請。
2. Education eligibility: Master degree received or being received from foreign universities accredited by the
Ministry of Education, R.O.C. (Taiwan) is required. Please refer to the basic requirement of each school or
graduate institute for other eligibility criteria.
學歷規定：中華民國(台灣)教育部認可之國外大學畢業之碩士(含應屆)，系所另有規定者從其規定。

C. Documents required for application: The following documents translated into English or Chinese should be
submitted for review. Incomplete documents will not be reviewed.
申請文件：下列文件若為中文或英文以外之語文，應附中文或英文譯本。資格初審合格者，方得參加甄試，
文件不齊者不予審查。
1. One copy of the application form with an attachment of a recent 2-inch bust and hatless photo.
入學申請表一份，請貼妥申請人最近2個月內之2吋脫帽半身正面相片一張。
2. One copy of applicant’s passport【other documents for alien identification please refer to
http://pluto2144.tmu.edu.tw/tmugs/tmugs272/citizen(2009).html】
國籍證明文件。
3. One photocopy of Applicant’s the highest-level certificate or equivalent academic attainment and transcript
issued by an international education institution which must be authenticated by a Taiwan's overseas
representative office.
經中華民國(台灣)駐外館處驗證之國外最高學歷證明及歷年成績單影本各一份。

4. Pledge of veracity. Please use the attached form.

具結書一份(格式如附)。
5. One copy of valid proof of English proficiency, such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOIEC, ELPT, FEC, CAE, or other
official test. Applicants who have had at least four-year formal education in English-spoken country do not need
to submit English proficiency proof.
效期內正式英文能力證明，如TOEFL、IELTS、TOIEC、ELPT、FEC、CAE，或其他正式英文能力測驗
成績。於英語系國家接受正式教育四年以上者可免提英文能力證明。
6. Two letters of recommendation
推薦信2封。
7. Study plan written in English
英文讀書計畫1份。
8. Autobiography written in English
英文自傳1份。
9. Supporting materials (if applicable): such as curriculum vitae, academic examination (GRE, GMAT, Chinese
Proficiency Test, etc.) score, or academic certificates, publications or awards (all supporting materials should be
translated into English or Chinese)
其他輔助文件，如履歷、學力檢定(如GRE、GMAT、華語文測驗)、專業證照、發表或論文、競賽成果
等(須為英文或中文)。
10. Refer to "Application materials" required by each school or graduate institute.
其他規定請參照各系所相關規定。

D. Interview:
電話訪談或視訊面談或面試
Some graduate institutes demand interview in addition to document review (telephone, online or face-to-face
according to school requirement). Interviews will be held during May 5-15, 2010.
部分系所除文件審查外亦要求電話、視訊面談或面試，時間為2010年5月5日至15日。

E. Scholarship and tuition:

獎學金與學雜費
Early scholarship application sent before January 20, 2010 will be reviewed by January 31, 2010. Please refer to
website http://io.tmu.edu.tw for scholarships and tuition fees in detail.
2010年1月20日前申請獎學金者，可優先審查，獎學金及學雜費詳情請參照網站 http://io.tmu.edu.tw

All application materials should be sent out before April 10, 2010 by air mail or email (in PDF format). Please
mark “Application for the International Student” on the envelope or email subject.

G. Notice and Requirements after admission:

錄取後應繳交文件及注意事項：
1. Applicants should submit original diploma after arrival. Financial support (USD15, 000 or equivalent amount)
should be verified by a Taiwan's overseas representative office.
畢業證書正本。經中華民國(台灣)駐外館處驗證之財力證明；財力證明(金額相當於美金15,000元)若為台
灣機關行號所出具之證明文件，則免驗證。
2. To provide the proof of medical and personal accidental insurances with four months valid starts from the first
day of travel to Taiwan.
經本校核准入學者，註冊時應檢附已於國外投保自入境當日起至少四個月效期之醫療及意外傷害保險。
3. If the international student arrives later than one-third of the semester, his/her registration will not be issued
until next semester.
到校時已逾學期三分之一者，當學期不得入學。
4. If international students are dropped from the college or university in Taiwan, they will lose their admission
status and may not apply for other colleges or universities. Applicants who violate this regulation will be
dismissed from school.
外國學生申請人曾於國內各大專院校退學者，不得再申請入學，違反此規定並經查證屬實者，取消其所
獲准之入學資格或開除學籍。
