Former Delray Druggist is
Killed in Georgia When
Cars Collide
Mr. Lester Trice, a former Delray
druggist, was "killed In on accident
nhaut six miles'from Cochrnn, Go,
last week.. Mr. Trice lived In Dclriy
last year, and many Delray people
will be sorry to learn of his death.
The following clipping, taken from
the Cochrnn Journal gives the details
of the tragic accident:
Mr. Lester Trice, a prominent
young druggist, of Mt. Vernon, togotlior with his wife and seven,months
old baby met with what haB proven
one of the saddest and most tragic
Incidents It has ever befallen our duty
to record, when their car was run
into about six miles from Cochran
Sunday afternoon whllo returning
homo, after spending the day here
with tho former's parents, Mr, nnd
Mrs. W. 0. Trice.
They were returning home late in
tho afternoon about 6:00 or 5:30 p,
m. in the best of spirits, singing,
and happy ns could be after a pleasant day's visit here, until they reached
Hobbs' store, where the highway la
crossed by another road from which
Mr, W. G. English was coming into
the highway when his cor struck Mr.
Trice's and turnrd It over. Neither
car saw the other, and Mr. English
and his family who was with him
were not Injured, but Mr, Trice was
fatally hurt, dying about 11:00 o'clock
Sunday night His baby Is not. expected to survive, and tho extent oC
irs. Trice's injurieB have not been
determined, but not thought to be so
