things easier and it is convenient to use during rainy season. It is
constructed by synthetic fibre and polyester which is high in water
resistance. This fibres are dense enough to trap air, they are spaced far
enough apart easily allow heat-sapping sweat to escape through
evaporation It is lightweight, breathable insulation that keeps the person
dry and comfortable in cold weather conditions. It has detachable and
adjustable straps. It is convertible from jackpack to bag or vice-versa. It
will assure the user to feel more comfortable when carrying things during
bad weather.
In handling things, backpack is not good enough to use especially

IV. Design
A. Design Specification

Jackpack is a combination of a jacket and backpack. The jackpack is made up

of synthetic fibre used to carry things. The bag is 16 inches tall, 11 7/8 inches wide
and 8 7/16 inches deep. Available sizes of jacket are: extra small, small, medium,
large and extra-large the jackpack has attaching buttons in the shoulder and in the
waist which are used to connect the bag on the jacket. The backpack bag can also
be used without the jacket.
Jackpack is equipped with head protection against rain. It's still better to wear a
jacket as well as protecting the body.
B. Product Assembly
The backpack is made up of synthetic fibre used to carry and secure
things, hassle free and easy to manipulate. It has dual concept of a jacket
and a bag. The key idea of this product is to construct a waterproof bag that
is essential to use during cold and rainy season and to prevent the carrier
from getting wet. The final product was designed and made.

A design review process was made before assembling the final

product. In this case, the users were known and the key features of the
product have been evaluated. The final product is to be fashionable and
usable in both sides.
The dimensions of the jackpack are based on the original backpack but
with matching a jacket on it. It has two detachable used to maintain the
usage even the climate is good. The size of the bag depends on the buyers.
The inside feature of the bag is too wide so it is good it handing overload
objects. The items are made of lightweight materials so that the user/buyer
will use it easily. The problems encountered during the analysis: how to sure
that the things inside the bag will not easily get wet and what is the use the
jacket during good season.
Solutions to the problem was organized and made using brainstorming
within the team. A plastic inside the bag will be made so that it will also
protect it. It will serve as double protection for the safe of the bag. The jacket
can be put inside the bag where a pocket is made for it to be cool and dry
easily if the rain stops. This will be the finalization of the product that will be
presented.

JanSport Big Student Classics Series Daypack

The straps on this backpack are very wide and very
stiff. They find this uncomfortable. It might work
better for someone with a larger body, but they
think that women and children would find the
straps very uncomfortable.

The backpack material itself is amazing everything they
