Refers to documents that contain significant HSE requirements for (sub)contractors
Why
Ultimate objective
Create absolute clarity for (sub-) Contractors to which HSE requirements they have to comply.
Note: HSE Conditions of Contract cover HSE requirements in a generic and high level manner. These HSE Condtions need
to be substantiated by the 'underlying' HSE req's that detail the specific HSE requirements as relevant for that particular
scope of work.
What has been observed?
Contracts not specific on HSE requirements, e.g. no ref list of documents specifying HSE requirements. HSE req's might not
been indentified or hidden in various documentation. Risk: contractors are 'surprised' with HSE req's they were not ware of.
This pick list supports communicating clear HSE expectations to our (sub)contractors.
What do we want to resolve with this 'Pick List'?
To provide Contract Holders and Contract & Procurement staff with a (up-to-date, multi-disciplinary) pick-list, from which they
can derive a reference list of HSE req's applicable to the scope of the contract. They can use this when compiling ITT and
contract documents.
General
-- "CMS Pick List" contains "adopted UIE regulations" (as published within CMS)
-- "Additional Pick List" contains additional HSE requirements
-- Pick Lists are not 100% complete!
-- Pick Lists will be updated each year (aligned with the CMS update)
-- Scope: NL, UK, NO, IRE requirements
If case identify any regulation or missing hazards that should be part of this list or have any other question/remark
please contact the UIE Contractor HSE Mgt Team: David Nixon (UK); Karl Gundersen (Norway), Christian
Raaijmakers (NL)!
