As a Project Manager I did the next activities in IT projects:
Management activities of IT projects as: Create the scope, estimations and goals of the projects, create the
time and cost in people and assessments for the projects, support and create the ROI of projects;
Assign and dived the tasks to the team according of each role, mange the communication between the team
and the enterprise executives, manage the communication and specification with multiples subcontractors
and providers, control of the delivery, QA test and project documentation according of ITIL standards.

Coordination activities of IT projects as: Leadership with the plan, following the time and delivery for the
milestones projects, leads and direct changes requirements, seek and control the risks in the project, identify
and resolve issues related with the project, create the week reports for the high administration, coordinate
and attend the high team meetings and coordinate the final implementation and post operations tasks.

Outstanding Achieves
I was part of the TEAM implementation of e-learning process and LMS (Learning Management System) for
3 enterprises in Mexico: CEMEX, NEORIS and AXTEL.
1) Implementation of LMS SumTotal in Axtel, Co.
The project in the telecommunication company, Axtel (www.axtel.com.mx ) was the creation of the e-
learning courses factory and the implementation of the Learning Management system (LMS) SUMTOTAL.
In 2006 Axtel Company , the second-largest fixed line telecoms operator in Mexico, completes the
acquisition of Avantel, an other Mexican Telecom company, and with this fusion, Axtel had the challenge of
integrate the Avantel Employees in the new company and important part of this integration was the training
in the Enterprise systems like the CRM.
The acquisition of SUMTOTAL LMS, was the solution for the e-training process for employees in at least 20
cities in 30 locations in Mexico. Parallel to this project, we did the creation of the course factory using
Datango software and other design tools. This factory had the propose to create SCORM courses to
integrate with the LMS. The LMS, HR department and IT support, created a task force team to design,
develop and implement at least 100 simulations for the use of the CRM systems and other important
systems.
Axtel reached the goal in time and form for the employees training , savings important time and money for
the company and increasing the productivity for the training team.
2) Implementation of LMS SABA and e-learning process for CMEX , Co.
The project on CEMEX (www.cemex.com) was the implementation of the e-learning process and the
cemex university with the system LMS SABA. One important part of the project was the selection and
implementation of e-learning courses for many providers. The system was world wide scope for more than
3,000 employees. The duration was 3 years on 3 phases.
At the same time, with this project, we did the implementation of AICC/SCORM courses for at least seven
providers: Netg, Ninth house, Digital Think, IBM, English Town. This implementation was the certification of
the compatibility of AICC and Scorm standards with the LMS, and the quality assurance and technical
requirements in the LMS Servers and network bandwidth for the availability of the courses for more than
3,000 employees in at least 400 locations in more than 10 countries.
3) The implementation of LMS SABA and the competency Model for NEORIS, Co.
The project on NEORIS (www.neoris.com) was the implementation of the e-learning process and the
LMS SABA for more than 2,000 employees for 5 countries.
This implementation was focus in the competency process for more than 20 jobs positions and as a
business consultant I worked with the HR department doing the strategic and flow process for this positions
considering skills, behaviors, enterprise strategic, organizational culture and role model for each position. As
a technical consultant, I worked with SABA technical team, doing the translation and the implementation of
this competency catalogue and role positions to the LMS.
With this implementation, after one year of use, NEORIS HR department had enough information to improve
the evaluation process and doing the next stage of SABA implementation: Saba Performance, doing the
automation for 3,000 annual evaluations for Boss-Subordinate, Co-workers and Subordinate-Boss.

The project in Axtel was the creation of the e-learning courses factory and the implementation of the LMS.
I had the responsibility of the technical team doing the coordination of the process descriptions, the
specifications for courses providers and the implementation of the LMS.
I did the management of the project and the task coordination for the plan and resources.
The implementation was part of the integration project of 2 telecommunications companies (Axtel and
Alestra). The goal was integrate the Alestra employees with the Axtel process in a very aggressive time and
the scope was the employee training with e-learning courses instead of classroom courses.
The objective was complete and successful making an important money and time saving.
