A COMMENTARY ON THE VERSE 5:47 AND REFUTATION OF OBJECTIONS ON THE

HOLY QURA:NIC VERSE IN REGARD TO THE STATED VERSE.
THE Verse 5:47 is often attempted to be distorted and several objections are
attempted to be made on the Verse.
Some people who have left the folds of Islam have also claimed that this verse
made doubts in their minds and caused them to leave Isla:m.
The argument is given in the following form:=
The verse 5:47 urgeth Christians to Judge from any one of the New Testamental
Gospels(1). When Chrisrtians Judge from any one of the New Testamental Gospel
they find that Qura:n contradicteth each one of them on different issues and each
one of them on the issue of crucifixion.
So in the judgement of New Testamental Gospels Qura:n is not true. If Qura:n is not
true then it is false. Since any thing that is not true is false.
So in a sense Qura:n implieth its own falsehood.[The sense is supposed to be an
indirect contradiction].
Any thing that implieth its own falsehood is false wheather it implieth it directly or
indirectly.
A representation is as follows:=
A says B is True, B says A is False.
If what B says is true then A is False.
This implies that If A is True then A is False.
An INDERECT Contradiction of One Self.
So it is necessary to study this verse impartially so that a person whether he /she
beleaves in Qura:n or does not beleave in Qura:n as Real Divine Speech, atleast
understand this verse correctly with out any distortion .
This work is done with the spirit that it shall Insha: ALL-H assist both Non Muslims
and Muslims to understand the Message Of Qura:n in its proper perspective , and
be saved from attempted distortions.
THE VERSE 5:46:=

In their footsteps We Send I:sa: [Iesous/Yesha/Ishu/ /] Son Of Maryam

[Miriam/Marium/M] Confirming the Taurah [Torah] that had come prior to Him;
And
We Gave Him Inji:l [Euaggelion] in which was Guidance and light ;and Confirmation
of Taurah
[Torah] that had come prior to it; and abdmontion to G-d fearing.
THE VERSE 5:47:=
Let the People of Inji:l[Euaggelion] Judge by that that ALL-H Hath Revealed(Sent
down) therein .
And who so ever hath not Judge by that that ALL-H hath revealed (Sent) into them
then such people are transgressors.
THE VERSE 5:48.
And We have Sent Down [Revealed] to Thee the Book [Nounly Al Qura:n] in Reality
confirming the Scriptures [Books] which came prior to It and Muhaiminan over
them. So Judge amomg them by What ALL-H Revealed , and follow not their vain
desire diverging from Reality [Truth] that Hath Come to Thee.
Note := The Word We is used as a Plural Of Majesty. So it is in Majazi [Secondary ]
meaning.
The verbs ascribed to Deity ALL-H are capitalized in there first letters.
The discussion is expanded in several premilinaries.
The First Preliminary:=
The Arabic term Inji:l[ ] like its sister term Euangelium is derived from
Greek term Euaggelion
[E] . The two Gammas[ s] produce the sound of ng that is the
reason it is spelled as Euanglion . Some time the letter u is replaced by v but in old
English or Latin there is no Distinction between the letters U and V. The classical
Latin Letter is V, which sometimes acts as a semi vowel. This is probeby one of the
reasons that these two letters are quite similar if not exactly similar.
The word Euaggelion means Glad Tidings, Good News or Pleasing Message.
Some times Good Message is chosen as an alternative translation.
Inji:l is its Arabic Form. The sound of Gama does not exist in Arabic and it is
changed be English J [Not Latin or German J, Since in them and in old English J was

pronounced as I or Y]. J in modern English , and In Classical Arabic is a consonantal

Depgthong, often represented by IPA Alphabets d3.Where 3 represents the sound
of Zh and with preceding d sound it is assumed to provide Modern English J sound.
In Arabic transliterations of Hebrew,Aramic, Greek , Latin etc. words in general and
nouns in particular the G sound is replaced by J sound as a general rule but there
are exceptional and special cases as well. A discussion on it is beyond the scope of
this work.
The word Eu [Ev] is a prefix [As-Sabiqah] which means Good, Glad, Pleasing etc. The
word Aggelo means Tiding, Message , Announcement, News.
The number in Strongs Laxiton is G2098.
The Modern English word Gospel is not found prior to middle ages. It is not a Latin
word but an Anglo Saxon word formed from two words God [ meaning Good] and
Spell [Saying].
God-Spell contracted into a single word Gospel. The D of the first word God was
droped in the formation of the new English word .
Thus the Arabic Word Inji:l precedes the English word Gospel for several centuries.
The official Noun of the Founder Of Christianity in Greek New Testamentum is
Iesous [] . The same noun is expressed as Yashua in Hebrew, Ishu in Aramaic,
Iesus in Latin, I:sa: [ ] in Arabic (Also Yasu: IN Arabic).
The word Kristos [Christos/ /Masi:h: / ] means Messiah. In some
cases the final sigma of the words are dropped . That is why the final sigma is
written in red colour.
Note: Arabic Letters are read from right to left. The are given in Block Letters [ Separate Letters] instead of traditional joining script.

Second Preliminary:=
The Arabic word INJI:L is used in Qura:n and Ah:adis several times. Qura:n
maketh it explicitly clear that the word Inji:l refereth to the same Euaggelion That
was Taught and Preached by Iesous Kristos [Yeshua Messsiah/Ishu Masikha/ I:sa:
Masi:h:] Himself to His Disciples followers, listeners and audiences. There may be
some cases when it is used in some other meaning on the demand of context in
Arabic Scriptures.(2)
But the Inji:l [Euaggelion] revealed upon Iesous Kristos and Aspired to Him is
Constituted of Divine Words revealed to Iesous Kristos.

However Qura:n informeth that this Euaggelion was revealed to Lord [Saiyiduna]
Iesous Kristos.
The word Inji:il or Euaggelion was given to the Divine Messages ,Divine
Words,Expressions,Tidings reviled on Iesous Kristos since the consist of Glad
Tidings,Well Messeages, Good Hopes and happy news for the people. This however
does not exclude the possibility that some of the contents of Euaggelion were Laws
or else. In this case the noun is based upon the majority of contents.
Third Preliminary:=
Qura:n beleaveth in only one Euaggelion. One That was Taught,Proclaimed,
Announced and Preached by Iesoius Kristos Himself, One that was Revealed to
Iesous Kristos Himself.
Qura:n always useth the singular form Inji:l and never useth the plural form
Anaji:l.
Iesous Kristos neither Wrote Himself the Euaggelion that he himself Taught and
Preached nor dictated His Disciples and first followers to write It.
The Traditions Of Euaggelion That Iesous Kristos Himself Taught and Preached were
conveyed to one an other orally by the reporters.
It is principally agreed by Ecclesia and Qura:n that there is only One Euaggelion
and only One Revelation.
Where Ecclesia opines that the four New Testamental Biographies are are four
different accounts of one and the same Euaggelion preached and taught by Iesous
Kristos himself, by four different authors; four Qira:n doeth not consider these
four different attempts by four different authors as Absolutely Pure Euaggelion
stated above.
Thus the Gospel of Matai [M/Mathhaos/Mata] atleast means Gospel
according to the concept of Matai, and atmost it means The contents of
Euaggelion or Gospel History in form Mattai wrote.
Similarly the same is true for Mercus [Marqus /], Luka [L-wqa:/] and Iohn [Yuh:anna/] .
Note: The consonantal I of Latin is pronounced as Y of English or J of German. But not as J of English the Consonantal Diphthong d in IPA.

In any case the condition of Exact Purity is dropped.

[Only a small portion of New Testamental Gospels contain word of Iesous Kristos].

Further it is not certain howsomuch additional traditions, reports. And narrations

were fused and confused with the Original Euaggelion of Iesous Kristos.

Forth Preliminary:=
The word Euaggelion definitely and certainly precedes the four New Testamental
Biographies. There are several irrefutable evidences in Christian Greek Scriptures,
which prove with certainity that the word Euaggelion pre existed the four New
Testamental Biographies of Iesous Kristos.
Evidences from New Testamental Books.
1] Mat 4:23 says:=
And Iesous went through out Galili [Jalili] , teaching in their (Jewish) Synagouges
[S:AU;MAH]and preaching Euaggelion [(Inji:l),G#2098].
2] Mat 26:3
Verily I Say unto you, Wheresoever this Euaggelion [G#2098] shall be preached
there shall also be that that
This woman hath done, be told for her memorial.
This shews that the act of the Woman stated above was either in the Euaggelion
either in future tense or prophetic past tense or it was to be told with the
Euaggelion revealed to Iesous Kristos.
3] Acts Of Apostles 15:7
And when there had been much disputing, Putrus [Paul] rose up and said unto them,
men and brethren
, Ye know that a good while ago , God[Deity] made choice among us that the
Gentiles by my mouth
Should here the WORD OF EUAGGELION [G#2098,Inji:l].
The Author of Acts Of Apostles is the Author of the third New Testamental
Biography, as it is held by the Ecclesiastical Traditions.
He is referring to a Gospel that was pronounced by Pulus [Paul] before the
Biography was written.
4] Rom 10:16.
But they have not obeyed the Euaggelion [ G#2098].
The author of Rom is stating that the people stated above transgressed the
Euaggelion , in the time of Pulus, when he wrote this epistle.

This Epistle was written before the period of any New Testamental Biography Of
Iesous Kristos.
These are just four examples chosen from a number of such references found in
New Testamental Books.
Fifth Preliminary
Iesous Kristos neither Wrote Himself nor Dictated his disciples and first followers to
write the Euaggelion.
Qura:n neither claimeth that Iesous Kristos made a copy of the Euaggelion that he
preached and taught nor claimeth that Iesous Kristos ordered his disciples to make
one. The Euaggelion which Iesous Kristos Himself Preached and Taught was
conveyed and received in form of Oral Tradition before attempts were made to write
it down.
The Oral Traditions and Narrations constituted the portions of the Oral Euggalion,
which was prior to Euggalion Kata some one else.
See Third Preliminary.
How ever based on the Euaggelion taught and preached by Iesous Kristos Himself,
the personal words of Iesous Kristos ,and his deeds and doings were also included in
the term Euaggelion at a letter stage.
By the time the first of the four New Testamental Biographies was written, they had
been included . But this never means that the term in the former meaning was
ceased and erased from the minds once for all.
[Note:= Some objection makers claim that the word Biography cannot be applied to New Testamental Gospels . This is based on their self
proclaimed definition of the word Biography. They have imposed self proposed conditions to exclude New Testamental Gospels from the
the term Biography [P:l Biographies]. One should reject the such redefinings of well known terms. How ever if some one insists on these
newly imposed conditions in the definition of the word Biography, then such a person may call term a Gospel as a Semi Biography or an
Almost Bography. But in this article the word Biography is used and the self proposed condition in the definition of the word Biography
is rejected such that it is not possible to reject NewTestamental Gospels from being Biographies.]

Qura:n useth the word Inji:l in this verse strictly for the Euaggelion taught and
preached by Iesous Kristos Himself, during his ministry i.e the words which were
revealed to Iesous Kristos for Preaching and Teaching.
Sixth Preliminary
It is impossible that any generation of Christianity hath forgetten the use of the
term Euaggelion stated above for the messages taught and preached by Iesous
Kristos Himself.

This is the only reason that the word Euaggelion [G#2098] is stated in New
Testamental Gospels and other books constituting It. See Forth Preliminary for
some examples.
Seventh Preliminary:=
For different Katas i.e Biographies according to four different authors were just
four different attempts to write the Euaggelion taught and preached by Iesous
Kristos Himself [Peace Be Upon Him].The Euaggelion that was preached and
taught by Iesous Kristos Himself was independent of Kata. Even when It was in
form of traditions TraditionEuaggelion It was still independent of Katas of thse
four Proper Nouns. Since none of the books each with preposition Kata existed
prior to the period it was written by its author.
If the/a book it self did not exist in a period of time then the preposition Kata for
the book also could not exist in the period of time. So the Euaggelion preached by
Iesous Kristos Himself prior to the time of New Testamental Gospels Was
independent of Kata.(2a)

How ever how successful these attempts were , is an other question. Similarly how
much they concede and overlap with the Oral Texts Of The Euaggelion in Tradidion
is a question other then the stated above question.
Eighth Preliminary:=
Discussion on the Verse 5:47
Qura:n hath stated the Word Inji:l several times and hath made it explicity clear
that Qura:n useth the term strictly for the words, sentences ,expressions and
messages taught and preached by Iesous Kristos Himself. How ever theword Inji:l if
used in any meaning other than the stated above meaning definitely requireth a
demand from the textsof the contexts with certainity.
Qura:n strictly beleaveth in the Uniqueness of Inji:l [Euaggelion] and beside that
Euaggelion declareth any other Euaggelion as manipulated and altered. The
condition of purity excludeth any word or sentence that is neither preached nor
taught by Iesous Kristos[P.B.U.H] Himself.
Qura:n also informeth that this Euaggelion was a revelation on Iesous Kristos.
One need not to see all the statements of Qura:n concerning about Inji:l
[Euaggelion].
It is sufficient to see the context of the Verse 5:47.

If one studies Verses 5:46 and 5:48 impartially every thing becomes evident.
The Verse 5:46
And in their footsteps, We sent I:sa: [Iesous] Son Of Maryam [ Marium] confirming
the Taurah [Torah], and
We Gave Him the Inji:l [Euaggelion] in Which was guidance and Light and
Confirmation of the Taurah [Torah]that had come prior to It. [For those readers who
want to see the entire verse it is requested to see above].
Note the words We Gave Him [i.e Iesous Kristos] the Inji:l [Euaggelion].
This explicitly shews that Qura:n is discussing about the Euaggelion that was
revealed upon Iesous Kristos.
This also clearly indicates that Qura:n is neither discussing any one of the four New
Testimental Biographies also knows as Euaggelion nor discussing a set of them.
Even it is clear that when the word Euaggelion [G#2098] when refers to Iesous
Kristos Himself during his ministry in New Testamental Works including the four
Bigraphies of Him , the term is neither not used for any one of the four biographies
it self nor for a set of them. [See Sixteenth Preliminary]
Qura:n never useth the term Inji:l for the four New Testamental Biographies
namely Euaggelion Kata Matthaion [Mattai] etc. If It Useth the stated above word in
some meaning other than the stated above meaning then It useth it in the meaning
of Written Records Of Iesous Kristos and any thing related to Him and His
Euaggelion in the stated above meaning.. A Term more general then the New
Testamental Gospels , whether it is applied to them is a secondary issue.
There is a dispute among scholars whether these books are correctly ascribed to the respective Proper Nouns of the person they are traditionally ascribed
to or not. Both sides of the claims are possible. Neither impossible nor Certain or Necessary. At most it may be said that the probability that they are
correctly ascribed to the Proper Nouns is greater then the probability that they are not. But every thing stops here. Even the Probability of the former is not
much greater then the probability of the latter. That is it is not some thing that the probability of the former is 0.9 and of the latter is 0.1. But the relation
is some what like 0.6 and .04.A CERTAIN judgement is certainly Impossible.

(3)

Eleventh Preliminary:=
The word Euaggalion is used in several meanings in Christian literature.
1] Oral Euaggalion preached and taught by Iesous Kristos Himself.
2]Oral tradition of the stated above Euaggalion conveyed from one person to an
other.

3]Oral Traditions stated above , personal words of Iesous Kristos , his acts, deeds
and doings, as conveyed from one person to an other person.
4] Four New Testamental Biographies Of Iesous Kristos written by four different
authors.
5] Kerygma [] whether inside New Testament or outside it.
6] Apocryphal works about the teachings, preachings ,events, ascribed doctrines
etc. of Iesous Kristos.
One may refer to foot note 2 as well.

The Verse 5:47

Let the People Of Inji:l [Euaggelion] judge by that ALL-H Hath revealed there in.
Who so ever doeth not judge by that ALL-H Hath revealed [made to descend] , then
such people are transgressors.
ALL-H Hath ordered Christians of all sects ,creeds and cults to Judge and to make
decisions according to the revealed and descended Euaggelion that was Taught
and Preached by Iesous Kristos Himself , That was revealed and given to Him.
Qura:n is certainly not referring to the New Testamental Biographies of Iesous
Kristos, the four Katas.
The words Inji:l directly refers to the messages, proclaimations, teachings
,preachings Himself preached and taught by Iesous Kristos Himself, the revealed
Euaggelion.
The Verse 5:48
And We have made to descend [revealed] to Thee the Book [ i.e Holy Qura:n] in
reality, confirming the Books that hath prior to It and Muhaimin over them.
The Arabic Word Muhaimin is defined as :=
1]One that testifieth the truth therein and falsifieth the falsehood that is added
therein.

10

So Judge among them by that ALL-H Hath revealed [to Thee] and follow not their
vain desires diverging from reality that hath come to Thee.
It is to be noted that the command in Verse 5:48 is to Holy Prophet [P.B.U.H] and not
to Christians.
2] One that is a save guard or a protector from addition of additional materials.
Once again the words of the expression THAT CAME PRIOR TO IT [I.E AL
QURA:N] must be noted. This is a significant part concerning the present
discussion.
It refereth to 4:46 to the expression We Gave Him The INJI:L and to 4:44 to the
expression It Is We Who Have Sent Down [Revealed] Taurah in Which was
Guidance and Light.
This is a proof that Qura:n is stating about the Divine Words descended Upon
Moshe [Moses/Mu:sa:][PBUH] and Iesous [PBUH].
Ninth Preliminary
A Possible Christian Response:=
A Christian who does not believe in Qura:n as the Divine Speech can say that he do
not believe that Al Qura:n is Muhaimin. But even in this case he can understand
that Qura:n is referring to the Euaggalion in the meaning it was used in the Time of
Ministry Of Iesous Kristo. See above.
A Christian Scholar who do not believe in Al Qura:n as Divine Speech cannot
believe that Qura:n is a Muhaimin on the Contents and texts in the New Testament
that were actually preached and taught by Iesous Kristos Himself. If some one who
do not believe in Qura:n as the Divine Speech yet accepts Qura:nic advice, may try
to propose some of his own criteria to follow the Euaggalion of Iesous by identifying
its portion from New Testamental Biographies i.e Euaggelion Kata [according to]
some one else other than Iesous. How ever if he does not accept the Qura:nic
advice may not propose any criteria at all. In any case a just Christian Scholar
whether he accepts the stated abobe advice or not cannot distort the real meaning
of the Verse 5:47. Since to accept or not to accept an advice in one thing and to
distort the meaning of the advice is an other thing.
Tenth Preliminary:=
There are several points to be noted in the entire discussion stated above.
1] The words Euaggelion [Inji:l, Euanglium] are used in different meanings in the
History Of Christianity.

11

It is self evident that in the period of Apostles and Apostolic Fathers the word
Euaggelion was not used for the New Testamental Biographies Of Mattai Mercus,
Luka and Iohannon, simce these Apostles and Apostels Fathers were the men who
either lived prior to the period of composition of these four Biographies or in the
period of composition of thse biographies. In this period of time i.e the in very
century in which these works were composed , the word Euaggelion was not used
for written records of related to Iesous Kristos but to the Glad Tidings , Well
Messages , Good News etc. concerning Iesous Kristos. That is the reason that the
word Euaggelion is not used for the wriiten records of Iessous Kristos by the New
Testamental authors of the four biographies in New Testament Itself.
2]The meaning of Euaggelion in Qura:nic view is the Euaggelion that is preached
and taught by Iesous Kristos Himself. It must be noted that Qura:n doeth not
contradiceth the other use of the term in Christiandom, but It imposeth a Strict
condition so that it the term is only and only applied to what that is Preached and
Taught by Iesous Kristos Himself and is not applicable to any thing that is not
that. This condition is of revelation or aspiration on Iesous Kristos Himself.
The word Inji:l in Qura:n refereth to a meaning that was in the period of Ministry Of
Iesous Kristos when He was preaching Himself. This period is even prior to the
period of Apostles and Apostolic Fathers.
3] All the Christian sects, creeds and cults inspite of their internal differences agree
on one point , that is Iesous Kristos Did Preach and Did Teach the Euaggelion
Himself for the first time in the history of Judaism and Christianity.
4] Qura:n is ordering all the sects, creeds and cults of Christiandom to follow what
Iesous Kristos Had Himself taught and preached and not to follow any thing that is
added to the words that He neither taught nor preached. Qura:n implicitly urgeth
all Christian sects , creeds and cults to follow the words of Euaggelion as preached
and taught by Iesous Kristos Himself and to judge according to It.
5] Although the Disciples who were latter said to be Apostles existed during the
period of Ministry Of Iesous Kristos, but the Period of Apostles begins after the end
of the Ministry Of Iesous Kristos when he was no more in them [Physically]. The age
of Apostolic Fathers began after the enf of period of Apostles Of Iesous Kristos.
6] As there are several meanings [ or definations] of the word Euaggelion each
emerging at a different period of time, it does not mean that any posterior
appearing meaning made is unlawful to use the word Euaggelion in prior appeared
meanings. They are still valid and can be used.
Eleventh Preliminary:=

12

In some translation of New Testamentum the word Euaggelion [G#2098] is

translated as Gospels [ in English] , Euangeliun [in Latin] Inji:l [in AFU languages]
etc.
But now there is an other tendency to translate the word Euaggelion of New
Testament [ Greek] as a term of the language in which it is generally translated.
For example in some English translations the word Euaggelion is not translated as
Gospel but as Good News.
There may be several reasons behind dropping the word Gospel and adopting the
words Goood News instead of it. Similarly the Word Inji:l is being dropped in the
AFU languages and is replaced by the words/word of the respective AFU language
in which New Testament is translated.
[AFU Languages= Languages which use Arabic Script in principle, like Persian etc.]

A very strong probability of the following reason also exist which is stated below:=
A just or a rational Christian reader does find the evidences of a Gospel in New
Testament prior to the New Testamental Gospels.
In this case he or she may know that the Word Gospel is used for some thing that
did exist prior to the existence of four New Testamental Gospels whether synoptic or
not.
In this case such a reader if he does not believe in Qura:n as a Book Of Divine
Speech , even then can understand the verse 5:47 in its proper meaning.
That is Qura:n is referring to some thing that pre existed the New Testamental
Gospels just like New Testament refers to some thing that pre exist its Gospels.
But if it is so then one may see that the Word Inji:l in the Verse 5:47 refereth to the
Good News as proclaimed and pronounced by Iesous Kristos and not to the New
Testamental Biographies.
In this case the verse 5:47 may be translated as follow:=
Let the People of Good News Judge by that that ALL-H Hath revealed(Sent down)
therein .
Since the word Inji:l refereth to Euaggelion to which the words like Gospel and Good
News are reffered which pre existed the New Testamental Gospels.
Twelveth Preliminary:=

13

As it has been clearly stated that Qurra:n doeth not contradict It self neither
directly not indirectly and the claim of direct or indirect contradiction is based on a
misconcept, the entire argument is invalid and unsound.
How ever one may still say that Qura:n differeth from the New Testamental Gospels
on some issues. But if the issue of differences is to be studied , it is found that even
New Testamental Gospels differ on several issues. The Non Synoptic differs from
synoptic as it is well known to every student of New Testament.
The major difference of Qur;a:n from Gospels in New Testament is over the issue of
Resurrection and Crucifiction. But it is to be noted that neither the Crucifixion nor
the resurrection is in the teachings and preachings of Iesous Kristos.
Some words ascribed to Iesous Kristos which may be used to prove for the prophecy
of Crucifixion, death and resurrection may be interpreted other wise.
The claim of Divinity ascribed to Iesous Kristos may be interpreted otherwise.
Several Christian sects dispute prom Trinitarian sect on the issue and one cannot be
convinced by either side. The famous Verse of Iohn In the begening was the Word;
The Word was with the God; The Word was God. Is not said by Iesous Kristos
Himself.
So in the existence of Interpretations of some appearent contradictions , the
contradictions are certainly not certain.
So it can be said that that even at the present the words preached and taught by
Iesous Kristos in the New Testament does not contradict Qura:n as it may appear to
since
There are several interpretations of them . Only a person who denies all sort of
Interpretations can claim a contradiction but in this case such a literalist cannot
propose a single interpretation not only of New Testament but also of Hebraic
Tanach ,Greek Septuagint and Latin Vulgate.
Thirteenth Preliminary:=
It may be asked that if Qura:n asketh to follow and judge according to the
Euaggelion then where is the Euggelion. It may be noted that Qura:n never
claimeth that Iesous Kristos ordered his First follows and Disciples to write The
Euaggelion that he preached and taught.
Qura:n never saith that there is no portion of the Euaggelion in the entire New
Testament.
It is implied and generally held by Muslim scholars that portions of Euaggelion exists
in New Testament in general and in New Testamental Gospels in particular.

14

But they do not believe in the converse. That is any thing that exists in New
Testamental Gospels in particular or New Testament in general is a portion of the
stated above Euaggelion.
Coming back to New Testamental Gospels some time Mattai and Luka agrees
against Mercus. Some time Mattai informs about some thing which is not informed
by others.
This all shews that none of them are complete works in reguard to teachings of
Iesous Kristos and in regard to acts and events etc.
Fourteenth Preliminary:=
Any thing which is not preached by Iesous Kristos if added to his preaching
produces a mixture of Pure preaching and words of other men.
So the purity of Teaching is lost. Since the condition of purity if imposed allows only
the texts and contents which were taught and preached by Iesous Kristos either in
exact words of the language in which he Preached or in faithful translation.
But any thing whether in the language in which Iesous Preached or in any other
language which he did not preached , if added to his teachings implies an impure
product of
His preaching and the preachings of others.
This point is very significant irrespective of the authority of additive material what
so ever.

FIFTEENTH PRELIMINARY:=
The word Euaggelion is mensioned several times in Greek Nuvum Testamentum.
Mercus uses it nine times in the second New Testamental Biography,Mattai uses it
five times,
Luca/Luka uses it only one time in ther third New Testamental Biography of Iesous
Kristos and Pulus [Poul] uses it more than fifty times..
It may be noted that even Pulus did not use this term in a unique/single meaning through out his works [Epistles].

In non Pulus works in New Testament Hebrew uses it two times and 1 Putrus [Peter]
uses it four times.
In all these uses of the word Euaggelion one thing is certain. It is never used for any
one of the Biography written by the four New Testamental Biographers of Iesous
Kristos. See Tenth Preliminary

15

The word Euaggelion thus have seven different meanings as a Technical term. To
discuss the use of the word Euaggelion prior to Iesous Kristos LIKE LXX etc is
beyond the scope of the present discussion.
One may recall that it has been stated that the word Euaggelion is used in several
meanings even as a Technical Term.
It is required to repeat it in some other style to refresh the memories of readers of
this work.
THE FIRST USE OF THE TERM:=
The word Euaggelion was a technical term prior to the appearance of any New
Testamental Book in general and the four New Testamental Biographies in particular.
It was a technical term for the Divine Good messages, words ,expressions and
tidings etc revealed to Iesous Kristos.
The oral Text of Euaggelion was constituted of Divine Words and not of human origin
(1Pe 1:12).
Its contents were proclaimed ,preached , taught, and informed by Iesous Kristos for
the first time.
There was only One Euaggelion and beside it there was no Euggalion. Even Pulus
seconds this uniqueness of revealed Euaggelion stated above.
Thus the Word Euaggelion in the during the Ministry of Iesous Kristos Himself may
be expressed as follow:=
The Divine Good Tidings and Revealed Glad Messages Preached ,Taught and
Proclaimed by Iesous Kristos among the people during His Period of Ministry.
At some period latter many things were fuesd and added with the contents of the
stated above Euaggelion producing a second meaning of the term Euaggelion which
was
Relatively more general then the initial meaning stated above. (4)
For example the personal words of Iesous , His deeds and doings, events concerning
about Him were also added in the stated above meaning of the term [say the first
meaning].
Once the process of addition began acts, deeds, doings and personal words of Iesous
Kristos were also added in the term to produce a second meaning of the Euaggelion.

16

A third meaning was produced when words of Disciples, First Followers and their
acts and events were added to the term stated above.
Pulus produced a forth meaning when he added procedures, activities and
executions of the proclamationand and preachings in addition to the stated above
meaning [say the first meaning or second meaning].This may be termed as First
Pauline meaning. But Pulus did not stopped at this he included his own claimed
revealations in the term of Euaggelion. With the addition of his own claimed
revelation and inspiration he gave a new meaning to the term Euaggelion. He
included his own claimed revelation with the Euaggelion in stated above meanings
in form of traditions making a more general meaning. How ever he used the
Euaggelion in Traditions when It serve his perpose. If the claimed revelation are also
added to the Euaggelion then this is the second Puline meaning.
But for the sake of simplicity we take them as one.

Words of the authers who attempted to write Euaggelion were also added to the
term and this may be called the fifth meaning.
Latter the word was used for any one of the four New Testamental Biographies of
Iesous Kristos. This is the sixth meaning.
This implied the inclusion of incarnation, resurrection, crucifixion, death, birth
ascension etc in the term of Euaggelion.
The term was further generalized to include the Apocryphal works and
Kerygmas.This is the sixth meaning.
The scholars have suggested some proto works like Q-Euaggelion etc. they are also
called Euaggelion. This is the seventh meaning.
There may be some more possibilities yet the stated above meanings are sufficient
for a just and a reasonable person of any religion, any creed, any cult and any sect
to understand the plurality of meanings of Euaggelion , and to reject the claim of
singularity and uniqueness of meaning in in the History of Christiondom.
After this classification it is clear that neither the word Euaggelion used in the New
Testamental Books nor Qura:n use the word Euaggelion for the biographies stated
above.
In Qura;n the term is used in the first meaning unless and otherwise there is a
certain demand of the texts of the contexts. In some cases there is not only no
demand from the texts of the contexts , but in addition there are additional
evidences and indicators in the contexts which imply the first meaning.

17

The relation of the term in New Testamental works may be more general in some
places but not in all places.
Traces of the meaning stated above in the books of New Testament.
The word Euaggelion as desigtating Divine Messeges and Words Revealed to Iesous
Kristos has been applied to a number of narratives and traditions.
Even during the period of Ministry of Iesous Kristos.
Mar 1:14
Now after that Iohn was in Prison, Iesous came into Galilee preaching the
Euaggelion [G#2098] of the Kingdom of Deity/God.
This verse does shew that Iesous Kristos Himself preached some thing called
Euaggelion.
Mar 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom Of God is at hand : repent Ye, and
beleave in the Euaggelion [G#2098]
This verse also informs that the Euaggelion is some thing to be beleaved.
These two verses together do prove that Euaggelion was something that was
preached, taught, proclaimed and narrated by Iesous Kristos Himself and was to be
believed by the beleavers .
Mar 10 :29
And Iesous replied and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left
house or brethren or sisters or lands for my sake and the sake of Euaggelion
[G#2098].
This verse does shew that there was some thing named Euaggelion in the period
of Ministry of Isous Kristos.
Mar13:10
And the Euaggelion [G#2098] must be published among all nations.
The Euaggelion whose publication is a must pre-existed not only the four New
Testamental Gospels [Biographies Of Iesous Kristos] but also it pre exists the
meaning of Euaggelion which was used latter after Iesous Kristos ascension and
prior to the production of the first New Testamental Biography [Mercus].
Acts Of Apostles (as according to Luka/Luke/Lu:qa:).

18

And when there had been much disputing, Putrus [ Peter]rose up , and said unto
them, Men and brethren,Ye know how that a good while ago G-d made a choice
among us, that the Gentiles by my mpouth should hear the WORD Of EUAGGELION
[G#2098] and beleave [in it].
This verse of Act Of Apostles according to Luka quotes Peter or Putrus that he
preached and proclaimed the Words of Euaggelion among Pagan Gentiles. This also
proves that the Euaggelion consisted of words. How ever the Text of Euaggelion was
conveyed in Gentiles by Peter/Putrus orally and not in written form.
Rom 15:19
. . I have fully preached the Euaggelion [G#2098] of Kristos.
This verse is explicit that Pulus [Paul] claimed that all the of the Euaggelion was
preached by Pulus and nothing of it was left from preaching.
It may be the case that some addition material might also be preached by Pulus as
he included some more things in the oral texts of Euaggelion preached by Iesous
Kristos, yet Pulus cannot delete them from being the Portions of Holy Euaggelion
taught, preached and proclaimed by Iesous Kristos, which he probably learned from
the personal disciples of Iesous Kristos.
Topics of Euaggelion
New Testaments books informs about the topic if the Euaggelion preached by
Iesous Kristos.
1] Euaggelion of [Divine ] Kingdom. Mt:4:23
This does shew that some oral contents of the Euaggelion were about the [Divine]
Kingdom.
2]Euaggelion of Divine Grace.Acts15:7
This shews that some ora lportrions of the Euaggelion were about the Divine Grace.
3]Euaggelion of Peace.
This shew that some oral verses of the Euaggelion were about peace and peace
making.
4]Righteousness of Deity. R1:17
Some contents of the oral parts of the Euaggelion were about the Divine
Righteousness.
5] Euaggelion of Salvation. Eph 1:13

19

Some parts of the oral text of Euaggelion were about the Salvation.
6] Faith and beleaves. Rm 10:8
Some parts of messages of the Euaggelion were about faith and beleaves.
7]Reconciliation 2Co.5:19
Some statements of the oral Euaggelion were about Reconciliation.
8] It does appear that the sermon of the mount was a part of this Euaggelion which
Iesous Kristos Himself preached and taught in public.
Essence of the above discussion:=
The word Euaggelion was technical term prior to the appearance of New
Testamental Biographies. It was a Technical term for the Divine Messages, Divine
Expressions, Di Words and Divine Tidings, revealed to Iesous Kristos.
Its text constituted of Divine words and not of human origin. [1Pe 1:12]
Its contents were preached ,taught, proclaimed and informed by Iesous Kristos
among people for the first time.
This was the only Euaggelion and beside it there was no Euaggelion.
How ever the word Euaggelion also has a number of other meanings and the choice
of meaning is important and significant in different verses of New Testament.

Sixteenth Preliminary:=
If the technical word has different meanings then it is incorrect to insist on a
meaning which is not suitable and not appropriate in a verse or a sentence.
For example it can be shewn that it is incorrect to use the word Euaggalion in the
text of books of New Testament. Only some examples shall be suffice for proving the
claim.
Consider Mar 10:29
And Iesous replied and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left
house or brethren or sisters or lands for my sake and the sake of Euaggelion
[G#2098]
If the word Euaggelion is used for any one of the New Testamental Gospels say
Marcus the meaning becomes obviously incorrect.

20

In this case the meaning becomes:=

And Iesous replied and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left
house or brethren or sisters or lands for my sake and the sake of Gospel according
to Mercus.
A commentator in his commentary of the said verse can neither take this meaning
of the verse nor can ascribe it to
Iesous Kristos.
Mar 14:9
Verily I say unto you,Wheresoever this Euaggelion [G#2098] shall be preached
through out the world , this also that she hath done shall be spoken of her for a
memorial of her .
It is very clear that Iesous Kristos is speaking about the Euaggelion and what was
done by the Woman was to be preached side by side with that Euaggelion, which
implies that this was not a part of Euaggelion but it was to be preached with the
Euaggelion. This is Withness and not Inclusion. A thing distinct from the
EUAGGELION may be preached with the Euaggelion. To shew that the word
Euaggelion in the stated verse is neither used for any one of the four New
Testamental Gospel nor for a collection of all of them it is required to replace the
word Euaggelion as follow:=
Let the word Euaggelion be replaced by any one of the New Testamenta Gospel say
Gospel according to Mercus.
The meaning of the verse Mr 14:19 becomes as follow:=
Verily I say unto you,Wheresoever this GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MERCUS shall be
preached through out the world , this also that she hath done shall be spoken of her
for a memorial of her .
As the Gospel of Mercus was written prior to all the other Gospels in New Testament
whether synoptic sisters of Marcus or Non Synoptic New Testamental Gospel, it is
chosen in this argument.
This meaning is strictly incorrect and Iesous Kristos never meant Gospel According
to Mercus [Mark] in this sentence spoken by Him.
This Biography of Mercus was written not prior to 40 AC. So it cannot be meant by
Iesaus Himself in during his ministry.
[For sake of argument the Conservatives Early Dating System be accepted with out
any objection].

21

Readers interested in checking other synoptic New Testamental Gospels may work
them selves. One may consider it as an exercise if he/she is interested to see it.
Now consider that the word Euaggeliuon [G#2098] is used in the meaning of a
collection of all Synoptic New Testamental Gospels.
The meaning of the verseunder discussion becomes as follow:=
Verily I say unto you,Wheresoever this COLLECTION OF FOUR NEW TESTAMENTAL
GOSPELS shall be preached through out the world , this also that she hath done
shall be spoken of her for a memorial of her .
Once again this meaning is strictly incorrect and cannot be chosen among the
several meanings of technical term Euaggelion for this verse.
Even in the period of Disciples when Iesous Kristos was no more with them these
meanings cannot be chosen.
To prove this thing one may take some sentences from the Epistles of Pulus [Paul].
How ever it may be noted prior to any further argument that Pulus may have
generalized the meaning of the term Euaggelion relatively yet even he cannot take
the meanings which emerged at a letter period of time.
Only one example is suffice to prove the claim.
Consider Rom 2:16
In the day when G-d shall Judge the Secrets of men by Iesous Kristos according to
my Euaggelipon [G#2098].
Let take the meaning of Gospel according to Mercus.
In the day when G-d shall Judge the Secerets of men by Iesous Kristos according to
my Gospel According to Mercus.
It is self evident even the Mercan Priority cannot compel any one to chose this
meaning. Pulus never meant this.
Now one may take another meaning .
Luka is the Physician Of Pulus and a disciple of him, and also the auther of Acts of
Apostles according to Luka.
But even these relationships between Luka and Pulus cannot be a proof to take the
meaning of Gospel According to Luka.

22

Consider the meaning of the sentence in the Epistle of Pulus under discussion as
follow:=
In the day when G-d shall Judge the Secerets of men by Iesous Kristos according to
my Gospel According to LUKA/LUKE.
Obviosly this meaning is as incorrect as in can be. It may be noted that there are
some ground upon which Pulus could say the Gospel of Luka as his Gospel since
Luka was not only his Physician but also his Disciple. Probable if not certain that he
might have many things in his works which he might have heard from his teacher
Pulus. As Luka was his disciple at least in some sense, no one can contradict Pulus if
he would have claimed that this Gospel according to Luka is his Gospel.
But it is certainly incorrect that Pulus meant Gospel According to Physician Luka in
Rom 2:16.
Seventeenth Preliminary:=
The same is true [See Sixteenth Preliminary] for Al Qura:n. It is absolutely incorrect to assume
that the word Inji:l [Euaggelion] in the verse 5:47 is used in the meaning of any one
of the Four New Testamental Gospel or a Collection Of All Four Synoptic and Non
Synoptic Gospels. One may use the same method to prove that the word Inji:l
[Euaggelion] is not used for any one of the four New Testamental Gospels or a
Collection of them.
Consider the following part of the Verse 5:47 IN Al Qura:n :=
Let the People of Inji:l[Euaggelion] Judge by that that ALL-H Hath Revealed(Sent
down) therein .
In this part of the verse the word Inji:l cannot be used for any one of the four
New Testamental Gospels.
Suppose that the word is used for any one of the four New Testamental Gospels say
Gospel according to Mercus.
Then the meaning of the verse is implied to be as follow in the supposed case:=
Let the People of Gospel According to Mercus Judge by that that ALL-H Hath
Revealed(Sent down) therein .
But the above meaning is absolutely incorrect for the following reasons:=
1] There is no demand of Context to reject the meaning which cannot be rejected
except there is a demand of context.

23

The four Gospels are never refered in Arabic Sriptures unless and otherwise there is
a demand of context.
2] The context of the verse goeth against this meaning.
The verse 4:46 SAYTH
We Gave Him Inji:l [Euaggelion] in which was Guidance and light ;and
Confirmation of Taurah.
Qura:n is definitely and certainly referring to the Inji:l that was given to Iesous
Kristos and Gospel of Mercus was posterior in time to the Euaggelion preached
,taught ,proclaimed and reported by Iesous Kristros.
This completeth the proof.
Q.E.D
Eighteenth Preliminary:=
A] In regard to the Qura:nic verse under discussion there may arise a question that
how a Christian can follow the Euaggelion that was preached and taught by Iesous
Kristos if he accepts Quranic advice with out believing Qura:an as a Divine Book?
That is if he accepts the Qura:nic advice as reasonable on rational grounds.. Since
he has no access to the Euaggelion in Tradition that was available to the Christians
of the first Generation.
But this is a question not an objection. So an answer to this question is beyond the
scope of this article on logical grounds , since the scope is strictly limited to answer
the Objection stated above, and not to answer any question. Since a question is
some thing other that an objection. But in order to complete the discussion it is
required to reply this question as well.
Hoe ever there are some points which must be noted to understand the the
Qura:nic Statement.
The Qura;nic advice is that the Christians should follow the Messages ,
Proclamations , and Teachings of Iesous Kristos , Which He conducted Himself
during His Period of Ministry.
Gospels of New Testaments are neither the collections of mere Sayings of Iesous
Kristos nor the collections of mere His Teachings and Preachings.
They contain several addition materials . For example His acts ,deeds and doings
etc. as well.

24

But this is not where they stop. There are many materials even in addition to stated
above materials.
One may try to find the Euaggelion that Iesous Kristos preached , taught and
proclaimed Himself.
One may try to find out the Euaggelion which Iesous Kristos Himself preached and
taught during His Ministry from all available sources then try to follow the
Euaggelion , whose portions are scattered in different sources.
If some one disobey the Divine Words Of Euaggelion Which was revealed to Him and
Preached by Him then such a person who so ever he may be transgresses even
according to The Euaggelion Preached by Iesous Kristos.
If this advice of Qura:n was accepted to find the Portions of Euaggelion in the
stated above meaning, the research about Proto Gospels like Q-Gospel , Traditions
Of Euaggelion etc would have begun in Christiandom at a much earlier period of
time.
Further in this case one would have found that The Euaggelion in the stated above
meaning does not contradict Qura:n , and any apparent contradiction would have
been removed by the correct interpretation of the recorded traditions of Euaggelion.
As Qura:nic Veses is not speaking about the extra materials since they may be part
of Euaggelion in other meanings but not in the stated above meaning , Quran do
not consider them as some thing Revealed to Iesous Kristros Himself.
B] It is a very strong Probability that Iesous Kristos Spoke Aramaic and The
Euaggelion Revealed to Him was in Aramaic and Not In Greek. But after all this is a
Probability and Not a certainty. It cannot be claimed with certitude that The
Euagglion was not in Greek.[5]
Any how one may see that if Euaggelion was in Greek then the Portions of the
revealed Euaggelion may easily be Identified and followed.
But if It was in Aramaic then if faithful translations of its scattered contents are in
Greek then they can be followed.
If Euaggelion in the first meaning exists in Books of New Testament , it is not implied
that every thing in Books Of New Testament is that Euaggelion.
In Particular If some portions of that Euaggelion exist in New Testamental Gospels, it
does not mean that every thing in New Testamental Gospels are the Portions of that
Euaggelion. This is still valid if it is assumed that Iesous Kristos spoke a language
which was Hebrew-Aramaic amalgam or it is assumed that He spoke Hebrew. To

25

identitify the exact language of Iesous Kristos is beyond the scope of present
discussion.[4a]
THERE IS A CONTROVERCY OVER THE ARAMAIC PRIMACY . Many people believe in Aramaic Primacy and do not believe in Greek Primacy. But may deny
Aramaic Primacy. Some opine that Iesous Kristos spoke Aramaic but the first Christian works were in Greek which may be prior to New Testamental
Gospels like Proto Luka or Q-Gospel. They opine that the authors wrote by translating them at a latter period of time. How faithful were those translations
to the Aramaic words is another questions.
Any how it may be said that the probability of Greek Primacy is more probable and then Aramaic Primacy yet nothing is certain . Once again the
Greatness of the probability of the former and lessness of the probability of latter is not like 0.9 to 0.1 but as in the case it is once more like 0.7 to 0.3.It
can not be said that Aramaic probability is Zero/Cipher and Greek Probability is 1.
How ever this piece of information does not disturb the discussion in the least meaning/sense. The discussion is valid even it is supposed that Greek
Primacy has the probability that is equal to 1 i.e certainity. If Greek Primacy is accepted , then the relation of Greek To Aramaic Peshitta is that of Hebrew
Tanach to Greek LXX. So still it is very important document in deferent regards,

C] It is a Question that why Qura:n advice Christians to follow the words preached
and taught by Iesous Kristos?
There are several answers to it. But one of them which is suitable in this discussion
is that Qura:n Wanteth Peace and Harmony among different religions in the world
and this can be achieved if Christians follow the Iesous Kristos and not words and
claimed revelations of men other than Iesous Kristos. Also Qura:n Wanteth that
People of Euaggelion may develop some criteria to testify whether a words ,
messeges, expressions ascribed to Iesous Kristos are correctly ascribed to Him or
Not.
Modern scholar ship has proposed a number of Proto Gospels , and most famous of
them is Quella Gospel which is proposed to be the first written record. It is generally
accepted by students of Modern New Testament studies that there was a Q Gospel
in general. Only conservatives deny such Proto Gospels. Modern New Testamental
Scholar Ship should appreciate Qura:n that Qura:n Hath discussed a Proto Proto
Gospel the Euaggelion preached and taught by Iesous Kristos Himself, Whether it
was in Oral Traditions or in Written Form. This was even prior to the Quella Gospel
which is proposed by Modern Scholars of New Testament. A number of scholars
think that the differences in Mattai and Luka from Mercus are due to the Oral
Euaggelion in Traditions. Some propose that it was due to not only due to the Oral
Euaggelion but also due to a number of written Gospels termed as Protp Gospels
[ atleast one say Q-Gospel]. So if Modern Christians scholars do not believe Qura:n
as a Divine Book they may acknowledge that It is Qura:n that provided a basis for
Modern New Teastamental Studies [MNTS].

D] Qura:n is Speaking in a Terminology stated above . To understand Qura:n one

should understand Qura:nic terminologies. If Qura:n is saying some thing to
Christians Qura:n is speaking in Its Terminologies. It is incorrect to CLAIM that
Qura:n if Speaking to them Qura:n neglecteth Its Trminology. Such a claim is
incorrect and baseless.

26

If some one wants to study Qura:nic messages he or she must try to understand
the Qura:nic terminologies. Since mere LEXITONAL meanings are at times not used
and Terminological meanings are used instead.
E] Such attempts are just deliberate attempts to distort Qura:nic Messages and
Statements.
RESULTANT OF THE ENTIRE DISCUSSIONS IN PRELIMINARIES:=
The claimed events of crucifixion and resurrection are not the part of Euaggelion in
the discussed above meaning and hence the claim of uninterpretable contradiction
is falsified.
Note:=
In the Entire discussion some time Capatalization of first leters of Verbs , Nouns , Pronouns etc. are done . This is the Capatilization of Mejesty. But it is not
done as a general rule in the entire article. A regular practice of it might be new to readers and may not be appreciated , so it is done where the author,s
sensibility demanded the Capatalization Of Megesty. How ever the the Divine Noun is written in Block Letters. Some time the Capatalization of the first
letter of a word is due to shew emphasis etc.
Transliteration scheme:=

Foot notes:=
1]Dating of the books of New Testament is Controversial. Modern New Testamental Scholars advocate late dating system [LDS] and
conservatives support early dating system [EDS].For example in LDS Mercus and Mattai were written in 70 AC AND 80 AC
respectively. In ELD they were written in 40AC and 50 AC.So there is a dispute of 30 years over Mercus and Mattai each.Such
disputes do shew nothing is certain. For a safe approach we have taken the arithmetical mean for each of them as they may be less
controversial between the two . Marcus in 55 AC and Matai in 65 AC. Etc. To make harmony it is also suggested that Conservatives
are talking about Proto Mattai and Proto Merucus etc while scholars are talking about redacted and edited copies of them. In this
case the Proto Mattai may be some what different from the final form of Mattai which is the part of New Testament etc.
2]It must be noted that the meaning of the Greek word Euaggelion in 1st and 2nd centuries of Christian Era are accepted to be
controversial. It was used in different meanings. Even Paul/Pulus does not use it in one and same meaning in all of his epistles.
(2a) If it is supposed that the Greek Preposition Kata vertually means Written by and not According to the conception of even
then it is not implied that the book was written by the persons to which these Biographies or Semi Biographies traditionally ascribed
to. Since it is Possible that initially they were used in the latter mentioned meaning but then the this meaning was replaced by the
former mansioned meaning in this footnote.[Footnote of page 5]
(3) None of the New Testamental Gospels mansion their authors in them. External Evidences are almost probable and plausible and
atleast improbable amd imllausable.
One thing is certainly certain that no thing is certain about their authors usually called evangelists. All the discussions revolve about
probability and plausibility.[Foot note of page 6] i

(4) No New Testamental Gospel claims that it is a Gospel [Euaggelion]. Three out of four are perfectly silent. Mercus may have used
this word Euaggelion [G#2098] for itself .
But it is not even probable ,it is just possible. Mar 1:1 says:= Beginning of the Gospel [Euaggelion ,G#2098] of Iesous Kristos. There
is a very strong probability that it is referring to the WORDS OF IESOUS KRISTOS of which it records some.
It is also probable that it is referring to Mar 1:14 and Mar 1:15 . These two verses also use the word Euaggelion [G#2098]. [This
footnote refers to p:10 of this work].
[4a] Marcus Gospel lacks may events that is not found in other synoptic. This is possible that the author of the Marcus whosoever
he may be did not received many traditions
And hence he did not write it in book. It is most probably the case since in Marcus 8:22-26 he even wrote instantaneous and
spontaneous dialogue of the healed blind man.

27

If he can write words which do not belong to memorable teachings and did not overlooked it, then the only suitable reason of not
writing many important and memorable things can be that he did not received their oral traditions ,narratives and reports. A number
of scholars have suggested that this dialogue is imaginary and a concoction. Our view is between the two that this is a distorted
tradition and some traditions in oral stated did undergo distortion and were not conserved . Some might have been ascribed to
Iesous Kristos incorrectly. [Foot note of page 16]
[5] Some conservatives have tried to shew that Greek was the language of writing in this period of time. But it is most probably the
case that Iesous Kristos spoke and preached the Euaggelion in Greek. At most the books of New Testament were first written in
Greek by translating words of Iesoius Kristos in Greek .Peshitta is an attempt to reconstruct the actual words ,preachings in Aramaic
in which they originally were or close to them. [ From Pg 17]. This is the reason Peshitta is important in order to study Greek New
Testament or Latin Covenant.
[6] It is tried to abstain from any polemical discussion in the text of this article/work. But one may see that a polemical answer is
also possible for the objection.
If it is assumed for a moment that Qura;n is not referring to the Oral Euaggelion but to a written Euaggelion even then this
Euaggelion may be the Q-Gospel or any other Contemporary Book of Q Gospel Second Q Gospel or Third Q Gospel etc. If this is
Assumed for the sake of the discussion the basic objection against which this Article is written is refuted perfectly. The objection
maker would have to deny all the Modern New Testamental Scholarship in order to refute Q-Gospels.
