HERBAL DETOXIFICATION
The Ultimate Cleanse - the finest herbal cleansing program
available. There is nothing else like it.
Some people say I have a good diet. My bowel functions
daily. Im already taking some of those herbs. Its not my
intestine thats the problem, Ive already had a colonic. Ive
already tried herbal cleansing etc, etc. Believe me, weve
heard them all.
This product stands alone as far as a total body flushout goes. Nothing we have seen on the market is even
in the same ball park. Its not only what you take, its
exactly how you take it. The Ultimate Cleanse has
been carefully formulated from traditional American
Indian methods and tailored to our modern lifestyle.
Nothing else contains the amount of herbs used in The
Ultimate Cleanse. It is no wonder impressive results are
achieved with this program.
Results
I cannot promise any cure. The idea behind herbal medicine
is to cleanse and build. By providing a healthy, clean,
nutrient-rich environment your body has a vastly increased
potential to heal itself. Some common problems which have
responded well to The Ultimate Cleanse include:
Acne, allergies, arthritis, bloating, blood sugar problems,
boils, candida, asthma, constipation, eczema, fatigue,
gas, gout, headaches, heartburn, high cholesterol,

loss, mucus congestion, obesity, oedema, parasites,
psoriasis, sinusitis, skin rashes, toxaemia.
The three Golden detox rules
Do not eat too much at once.
Chew your food extra well.
If you have diabetes or candida, avoid too many sweet
fruits and fruit juice. Eat pears and apples in moderation.

Easy Breakfasts
Yoghurt smoothies
This is a great way to start your day. Just take your
favourite fruit (but not bananas - too starchy) and fruit
juice, add some yoghurt or raw organic milk (soy milk
or rice milk preferred), a pinch of cinnamon and blend
until smooth. Throw in some barley grass powder for
more energy.
Fruit salads
Try combining different fruits with plain unsweetened
yoghurt. You can include oranges, pears, nectarines, plums,
peaches, pineapple, kiwifruit, apples, mangoes, cherries,
prunes, apricots. Remember: not bananas (mentioned
above).
18
19
JUICES
Tomato juice
This is a vivid, bright red juice. The tomatoes contain betacarotene which helps to boost the bodys immunity to disease
and is great for the skin.
6 tomatoes
21
Cut mango into pieces then add to yoghurt and blend it until
smooth. You can also replace yoghurt with 425 ml of almond,
soya or rice milk.

1/4 red cabbage
1 large carrot
1 apple
A small handful raisins
A small handful chopped hazelnuts *

carrot. Grate the apple. Mix the cabbage, carrot and apple
then add the raisins and hazelnuts.
Combine the yoghurt/vinegar dressing
with the salad and serve.

3 large beetroot boiled in skins for 20 minutes. Peel and dice
into 2 cm cubes. Add 100 gm mung bean sprouts, 1 large
shredded carrot, juice of 2 lemons, 20 ml Cider vinegar,
50 ml Olive oil, Chopped Rocket, Parsley or Coriander.
25
26
Heat the olive oil in the pan, add the onion and garlic and cook
over a moderate heat for 5 minutes until they are translucent.
Turn up the heat, add the almonds and pine nuts and cook
for a few minutes longer, stirring often, until the onion and
nuts are golden brown. Add the onion mixture to the rice,

TOXIC MATTER
Testimonials welcome
We always welcome testimonials and even photographs if
you feel enthusiastic.
- Eat light fruit and salad foods when moving fast, ie, at work
or on the road. Save the heavier foods for when you have a
chance to rest. Avoid eating under stress or in a rush.
Follow up important
Now that you have thoroughly cleansed your liver, kidney and
bowels you need to reinstate your bowel flora. Buy one litre
of the best plain, unsweetened acidophilus yoghurt you can
find in the supermarket. Take four tablespoons of this with 2
of your acidophilus capsules every night until finished.
Follow up diet
Once you have completed this stage of the program you
have completely cleansed your body and the real results will
begin to show. What you do from this point on will determine
how long term the results will be. It is important over the
following week to be very careful about what you eat. I
recommend that you reverse the process of going onto The
Ultimate Cleanse program, one step at a time. Go through
the foods, gradually introducing one at a time and enjoy
the new taste experience. Your diet may never completely
return to the old ways. Food intolerances should now be
gone or easier to identify. Avoid these foods for a while and
give your intestinal walls some time off. This is the general
type of diet recommended, although it is a very basic guide.
38
Maintenance
Repeat The Ultimate Cleanse every year for optimum health.
Even after cleansing and maintaining a healthy diet, it may
still be difficult to avoid some kind of build up. Ideally, for
optimum health you could just have juices for a couple of
days each month and do The Ultimate Cleanse at least once
every year.

What
can I eat if I get hungry? Try yoghurt, a
spoonful of olive oil or cream, a piece of avocado or
fruit. Refer to the food guide.
2.
W
hat can I eat if I go out? Stick to the fruits or salads
for snacks and drink juices. Refer to the food guide.
3.
C
an I go to work or travel? Yes certainly, so long as
you dont go too far from a toilet. If at work you need to
be able to break for the toilet on short notice.
4.
5.
6. W
hat if I experience bloating and/or constipation?
You can experience temporary discomfort when
lodged materials shift in the body, however this is
normally relieved by the next bowel motion. If bloating
and/or pain occurs for more than 24 hours: Cease
the remedies until this subsides; take 1/2 teaspoon
of Epsom Salts in water, 2 to 3 times in 24 hours;
peppermint, chamomile and ginger teas may help.
7. W
hat can I do if I get uncomfortable? The best
remedy is peppermint tea, although chamomile, fennel
and lavender teas are also effective. Try an Epsom
salts bath (4-6 cups) or a massage with lavender, clove
or nutmeg oils. You should not normally experience
prolonged or severe discomfort. The program should be
stopped if this occurs, and resumed later.
8. C
an I stop and start? Yes you can manage your own
cleanse schedule. Start at half the dose after a 24
hour rest period for the first day, and then resume the
program. It is just a matter of time for some people.
Stick with it.

TESTIMONIES
- Following my first cleanse I lost a staggering 22lbs and
after graphing my progress I lost another 14lbs on my
second cleanse. I was very overweight prior to the cleanses
and can emphatically state that I felt marvellous following
each one. With the second cleanse I felt a more spiritual
cleanse as well as the other great benefits: weight loss,
toxic clearance etc. Again many thanks for the support.
Alan.
- A friend purchased The Ultimate Cleanse for me a few
months ago, and I havent looked back! My headaches
have disappeared, feeling fantastic. Thank you. Nicole.
- Throughout the years I have done several different
cleansing programs. Though this was still hard work
(getting through those early cravings for forbidden food)
it was the easiest of all cleanses that I have tried, yet the
results were rewarding. At the end my thinking was clearer,
my energy had returned and healthy eating habits had
been re-established. I no longer craved those unhealthy
foods that I knew I shouldnt be eating...which makes me
realise that its time to do it again! Janet.
- WOW ! Words cannot describe the results I achieved
from the Ultimate Cleanse! I have suffered from constant
bloating, constipation, fatigue and headaches from my
early teens. My weight was a constant battle and many
foods made me feel bloated and constipated. I resorted to
laxatives which eventually through constant use, no longer
worked for me but instead made my problem worse! I
tried everything over the years and even tried cleanses of
other brands which did not seem to help either. I visited
Brett Elliott at The Herbalist and he put me onto The
Ultimate Cleanse program. I completed The Ultimate
Cleanse first with wonderful results! For the first time in
my life, my stomach is flat and I now know what foods
I can and cant eat to prevent constipation and bloating.
I now complete the Ultimate Cleanse once a year and
have recommended it to many of my friends, its the best
cleanse on the market! Thank you so much Brett and the
team at The Herbalist! Karen.
