SGX-listed DMX implements region’s first

operator-hosted hospitality interactive
Digital TV contract for Macau Cable TV

Singapore, 8 April 2010 – Singapore Exchange Mainboard-listed DMX Technologies

Group Limited (“DMX” or the “Group”; SGX: 5CH.SI), a leading digital media services
and application solutions provider, announced today that it has implemented an
interactive Digital TV (DTV) system in Macau which is the region’s first-ever operator-
hosted hospitality DTV implementation.

This launches the Group’s fast-growing digital media business in the economically
thriving special administrative region of the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”).

At the initial stage, the high definition Video-on-Demand (“VoD”) system deployment for
Macau Cable TV Limited (“Macau CATV”) will enable the city’s only Pay TV operator to
pioneer “service provider hosted” in-room entertainment services to hotel guests.

BEE Mediasoft Limited (“BEE”), a leading solution provider for digital and interactive TV
services and 100%-owned subsidiary of DMX, was selected to provide a convergent VoD
system based on its highly advanced and self developed interactive multi-media software
- the Vision TV product suite. This flexible and scalable multi-media product suite was
developed on open standard architecture; enabling the seamless integration of the VoD
system with Macau CATV’s existing billing as well as hotel’s Property Management
Systems.

hotel owners. This reference implementation is indeed an endorsement of our hospitality

Commenting on the Macau foray, DMX’s CEO, Ms Jismyl Teo said, “The latest

This contract win was awarded to BEE MediaSoft through ITN Technology Limited, a
purchasing party for Macau Cable TV.
